The server Robert M has no customer service skills. Never order the lettuce wrap bun. They don't provide enough to cover the patty. You only get condescending responses. My wife has an allergy which is why we get it in the first place. Sometimes the reason people speak up is because that's the only option. This once favorite place which could accommodate our needs is no longer an option. Nobody should be shamed and spend money to get treated that way. read more

My review is around 3.5 rounded up to 4 - see the edit. Menu is nice with a variety of burgers and sides and alcohol. Looked like the shakes were popular. Place was decently busy, but not crowded. Plenty of seats/tables. Meal started off kind of sour. I asked to substitute the included gruyere for the Mushroom Melt with cheddar. Instead of substituting the cheese in my order (cheese is included with a Mushroom Melt), they added $1 for the cheddar. I realized they overcharged me this $1 after sitting down so went back up to go over this with the cashier. When asked about the substitution, he assured me that they would put cheddar in lieu of the gruyere on the Mushroom Melt. And when asked why did he charge me the extra $1 he doubled down and said it was $1 for adding the cheese. I questioned him again but it wasn't going anywhere. So I got overcharged for something that should have been included. I was pretty annoyed to say the least. Besides that food came out in a timely manner. Burgers were well built. Good quality brioche buns. Quality toppings and fix-ins. Burger patty itself was lacking though. Smaller than what I was expecting. Patty was kind of thin and a little dry. Seemed too thin to be able to be juicy. Onion rings were really good. Fries not that good. Wish the fries were as crispy and fresh as the onion rings. We did not like the wings. They bread their wings. They were still crunchy but they were overdone so the meat was dry. We got the Pineapple Jerk chicken. It was sweet and spicy, but the the breading really gets in the way of the sauce. They both come together and make this mealy mush. If you go for the wings I would recommend maybe going for one of the dry rubs or see if they could go naked with the wings. Overall the food was okay. I didn't feel like the burgers were better than any burger chain like Shake Shack or BGR. EDIT: The owner quickly responded to my review and went above and beyond to correct the issue and assured me they would make sure it doesn't happen in the future for other customers. So I take back what I said about the customer service. They are paying attention and are taking great care of their business. I do commend them for that and making an overall positive contribution to the local food scene. read more

I stopped in here on 2-16-2023. My server, who was also one of the owners, was "Syed I." I had driven by every day but it was today that I decided to give it a try. Plenty of parking. When I walked in I noticed that it was pretty busy, which was a good sign. The crowd was like younger people and some families, but it was inviting. I asked what I should try since it was my first visit. I ended up with the #1 Hangry burger (double), with cheese (Cheddar) on a brioche bun with NO butter. I had regular fries and lemonade. The burger was good. Well done, juicy. The cheddar cheese was exactly that and was chewy. I'm hoping that I can get American cheese on my next visit. The fries were great. Hot and plentiful. The lemonade did the job but wasn't anything special. After all, I was there for the burger and fries. I also appreciated the "frequent eater" program and look forward to filling up my card over the summer months. It's a single location. Pretty big menu of items. Seating comfort is okay, but I can see myself getting my food to go. I will be back. read more

Yummy! The food is delicious, and best of all for celiac and ncgs - everything is gluten free! It tastes delicious, you wouldn't know it's gf. New weekly spot! read more

the atmosphere was super welcoming. the food was delicious. Chanel was our server and she was amazing!

Solid quality. The place has a great tasting food prepared with a passion for the customer. If you're looking for a lunch place, stop by. If you want some adult beverages with your meal, the full bar is there for your pleasure. read more

This place was very accommodating. The server was helpful and informative. He aided my decision with patience and kindness. The Kingfin was fabulous. It was hot. Seasoned well. The toppings were fresh even at the end of the day. The double cheeseburger was moist and juicy. The meat had an ole school flavor. The spicy fries have a good kick. The onion rings with the mambo tarter sauce is a good pairing. Overall it was a good choice. I would definitely return to explore the extensive menu. read more

First time here and I have to say it was very good! My son and husband are both Celiac's and we have to be careful when eating out. The staff took care with our meal and the hostess/cashier was wonderful in explaining what some of the items were as I didn't know. All in all, we will visit again! read more

We went here since my son was getting "HANGRY". I thought we would try it out and see. The place is really nice with cool decorations and designs inside and it also had one of those retro arcade machines. We ended up getting a regular hangry burger, the tailspin, some fries, and wings with the dry rub and lastly a chocolate shake. Everything was really good and was also well portioned. The wings were good size. The shake wasn't too thick so we're able to use a straw without a struggle. Overall great place for a burger place. Only complain I could see was the price was a lil' high imo but we will definitely be coming back. read more

Just dropped in for a quick bite with the kids. I was pleasantly surprised that they had other unique options besides burgers and fries. The kids had the burgers while I just had the asparagus and spicy fries. They were freshly made, hot, and delicious. They also had veggie and salmon burgers, which I might try next time, along with adult beverages. Much better than eating at the mall food court! read more

I stopped by on a Friday afternoon to pick up some wings as I saw that they coat them in rice flour and if you know anything about rice flour coated chicken wings, then you know exactly why I chose to try them. It was my first time stepping in this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it was decorated and just how busy they were! Despite having a crowd to feed, my order was out in less than 15 minutes. I decided to drive home and eat them on the comfort of my couch. I got the 6 piece combo with the spicy dry rub. The whole car ride home, the smell of the spicy dry rub was very off putting but once I tried it, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor! They were spicy and the wings were crunchy!! The only thing I'd change is get all flats next time. read more

My husband and I got takeout from Hangry Burger. We live less than 15 minutes away and by the time we got home the buns were extremely soggy. The meat was great though! Also we got seasoned fries and they didn't look like what was on their website. We thought we were getting potato wedges. The portion was on the smaller side too. Probably would have been better to eat there, so willing to try again! read more

Good food and an interesting vibe. It's NOVA level prices so be warned about that. It's a fun concept though and definitely worth a try.

Fresh and tasty burgers! The mushroom and hangry burgers were bom diggity! Also the spicy fries were tasty! Staff was super friendly and kind. Halal and vegetarian options as well. Definitely will be back! read more

Food is really good (if they get it right) I say that because if you order online the chances of them getting it right is slim every time we order online it is wrong read more

This place has everything. Including some delicious craft cocktails. The sweet potato fries will be the best you've ever had and don't miss the mushroom meltdown. You'll need napkins as it is a gooey, deliciously savory delight. And for dessert, try a Bethany Bar. Don't tell anyone but it's actually good for you. read more

Tried Hangry Burger for the first time, we loved it! Delicious burgers (we had the Hangry Burger and a mushroom double Burger), crispy yummy fries, and amazing onion rings!! Wanted to try a shake but they weren't able to make any. No problem, we'll be back again soon! Laid back atmosphere, craft cocktails and canned beer at a fair price. Highly recommend! read more

I had the mushroom melt , horrible burger just greasy and dry . I got nauseated after eating , fries were ok .

Hangry Burger was absolutely amazing! We got the original and the Mushroom burger and they were out of this world! Kudos to such a great restaurant with a full bar! Definitely coming back! read more

Wonderful service. Family friendly. My daughter is teething and loved the frozen strawberries on top of the shake. I asked them for more and they delivered. Kind patient service with my son too. Loved it. Great food too! read more

Rip off. What's the difference between these fries and some random chain sit-down restaurant? I couldn't tell you either. The fountain drink selection is abysmal. The beef on my burger was so well done it lost all its flavor. Dry and bland. The price for a flavorless patty with generic toppings and seasonings is a complete rip off. If the cashier wasn't so friendly I would have asked for a refund, but didn't want to give her the hassle. The food here is terrible. I started to list out all the places with better burgers, but it got too long. If you're looking for a better burger just go somewhere else. The name hangry burger is prophetic. I came in hungry, and left angry. read more

The burgers and sweet potato fries are awesome!!! Will def go there again when in the area.

Been going here for a minute and just now catching up on showing support for this place. So glad to have them apart of our community! The livid lamb is my go to and my wife likes the Seoul burger and butter chicken sandwich. Their spicy fries are crispy and seasoned well. read more

We discovered this place on a recommendation from a foodie friend. Very interesting burger menu w halal and gluten free options. I had the lamb burger that was seasoned well and juicy, and have taken home the bacon and Swiss burger and it's a higher quality beef than the other quick service burger spots. The asparagus and eggplant fries surprised us and paired well with the unique dipping sauces. The spicy Bangla sauce snuck up on me! The full-bar pours were generous and they even have free video games for the kids. Kochi and Julius were friendly and kept everyone entertained. Our new burger joint. read more

Love this place! Food's awesome! Their butter chicken sandwich is scrumptious! Owners are very friendly & informative. Service is great!

So glad that they finally opened! Restaurant is retro and clean. Our second time at Hangry Burger and it just keeps getting better! Excellent burgers and fries but their wings need more flavor. They have alcoholic beverages which is a huge plus. Julius (Manager) and his staffs are super friendly and made us feel welcomed. I didn't want my fries to be too salty, asked them to ease up on the salt and they gladly obliged. Only wish that they had more items on the menu such as onion rings and milkshakes! Can't wait to go back for more tasty burgers and fries! read more

I went on Sunday for a late lunch after finishing work. The burger itself took 35 minutes to make which is absolutely nuts. I could have grilled it myself much quicker. I had bacon added which wasn't even crisp and looked like it had barely touched the grill for longer than a minute. The restaurant wasn't even that busy so I don't understand how or why it took this long. The burger itself was over seasoned and tasted like someone dumped a bunch of salt on it. What gets me through is the cook kept coming out to the bar area to get another glass of beer. I did order fries which were undercooked and limp with absolutely no salt on them. The person "bagging" was more concerned watching the football and playing on his phone which I get they weren't busy so I can't really fault him. Soda also had no carbonation and was completely flat. I get they're new but there's so many other burger places around that serve much better food. It was clean on the inside which was nice but could also be because they're new. read more

We went a few days after opening. You order at the counter and sit down. The ordering process was easy and quick. We sat down to wait for our food. The wait wasn't any longer than a sit down restaurants wait but I was expecting it to be a little quicker. Everything is packaged as a to go order and there were lots of wasted packaging. I don't think I was asked if it was for there or to go. Having a eat in tray situation might be a worthwhile and cost effect change for them. We ordered a double Seoul Mate, a bun less cheeseburger, and fries. The flavor was good on them. The burgers might have been cooked a minute too long but they were still delicious. All in all-it was a great experience for a restaurant that just opened. They seemed to do a pretty strong carry out business. We will give it a couple more weeks and stop back in to test out the bar menu. The fully stocked bar was a welcome surprise. I can see this becoming our pre movie dinner stop. read more

A place that is not a chain restaurant but for sure one of its kind. I had the Seoul burger and spicy seasoned fries. It was way better than I thought it was and the bun that they used for it hits so well. Definitely will try the rest of their burgers when I get a chance. read more

We had carry out from hangry burger. The burgers were good and fries excellent. The store had a cool vibe. The staff seemed a little lackadaisical about masks and Covid stuff. This is another fast causal burger joint in Springfield area with a Burger Shack, BGR, 5 guys, Boardwalk Fries, and other similar places nearby I'm not sure this is too different from those but it is another option on a night when you want a Burger. read more

The restaurant is designed nicely and at a great location. I tried it out over the weekend and went with the #1. The burger, seasoned fries and fountain drink was around $16.00. Fries were amazing and served hot. The burger had a great taste but I was surprised at the size of the patty. For the price point I thought it was small and it didn't cover the bun it was on. For the price I was expecting more beef. Overall, it's a good local option in a good location. read more

excellent environment, food quality is fresh, we ordered regular fries, seasoned fries, asparagus fries, chicken tenders, hangry burger, and a mushroom bacon burger. the customer service is excellent. they were apologetic for some delay because of how busy they were. you can tell they're really trying to retain you as a regular which is nice to see. my children age 9 and 5 enjoyed their meals. very affordable (about $50 feed a family of 5) to feed your entire family and the good vibes along with it was worth the wait. try them! will be back again! read more

I'm so happy to find a burger place that caters to gluten sensitive and celiac. While the whole restaurant is not gluten free, everything fried - french fries, wings, falafel, etc. - are gluten free (so no cross contamination for those that are sensitive) and there is a gluten free burger bun. Yay. I was happy with the food and will be back. The food did take longer than expected to come out (about 20 mins for 2 burgers and fries). read more

This place was amazing. Not usually a big burger person since I like my food plain, but this place has it going on. The buns are so delicious, they have this sweet taste to them. The meat was juicy and tender. I would definitely come back. The service was also good. read more

Ran in/ran out, but the burger was so good, juicy, and well seasoned. Wish I'd gotten the fries-- as I walked out I saw them and they looked delicious. read more

Went here the other week. I got the mushroom burger. The flavor of the mushrooms was very good. The burger patty though was rather small but prepared well. For the money it should be big enough. I'm guessing it's a ploy to get you to buy the double patty set up. The single patty was pricey enough already though. I got the spicy fries, the spice was very tasty but was disappointed the fries seemed to be the frozen variety. If all you do is make burgers and fries, take the extra effort to make em yourself. BGR is a better bet for your upscale burger in the area but this place is also brand new so they could improve. As a designer i do love the little angry burger character in the logo. Might try it again sometime. read more

Amazing burger! Decided to stop by and try out the restaurant. I ordered The Livid Lamb burger. The flavors were exceptional. From the seasoned lamb to the buttery bun. The cheese on the burger did not overpower the flavors. Also the pickles were just the right level of saltiness. I also ordered the asparagus fries. They were not overwhelmed with batter. It was an excellent burger. As a side note, they had a great music playlist. Recommend this restaurant read more

The burgers here are good, but the real superstar item...the sweet potato fries. Possibly the best I've ever tasted.
