Love the crepe and bread pudding. Awesome service. Can be loud with airplanes flying over, but who cares? You can sit on the outdoor patio too.

The Hanger Cafe is a super cute and quaint little place. They were very attentive with service. I ordered the blackberry and cream waffles and they were to die for. If in Seattle, definitely a must try.

Wait was insanely long for our food, but everything was worth it in the end. I got here with a friend on a Saturday around 1:20pm to a full house and got seated around 2pm, somewhat close to their listed closing time at 2:30pm. This place is essentially a small house with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating - which my friend and I got seats in - has heaters outside and blankets are provided when asked. They have a nice selection of stuff to get, but we eyed the savory crepes and one of the special desserts they had. Things got interesting here. We ordered at 2:15pm but actually got our dessert - the coffee cafe - at 2:30pm, and then our main entrees - both a Hangar savory crepe - at 2:45pm, well past their closing time. There wasn't much follow-through as to why our food was taking so long, though I did notice other patrons were having the same issue. This somehow didn't affect my experience too much since I had great company and the outdoor decor felt really nice to be around. As mentioned before, we actually got our dessert first before the entree as our server noticed our food hadn't come out in so long. Our coffee cake was hot and piping, and came with a thick layer of coffee flavoring, whipped cream and some syrup on top. It was so sweet and fluffy, and the coffee flavor was a nice texture difference while also having the same tart taste as regular coffee. Presentation was also very cool and I felt bad cutting into it. The Hangar savory crepe was definitely the winner of the whole meal, and for good reason! It has black forest ham, two scrambled eggs, cheddar and some tomatoes, all topped with their vinaigrette and creme fraiche. The plate also came with a side of sliced fruit as well, and this made for a delicious brunch. The crepe was a little crunchy on the outside, the ham was quite smoky, and everything fit very well together. It wasn't exactly a 5-star experience since the wait times for food were long without much follow-up, but it's such a cozy place here and I'd be down to come back another time!

We arrived on a chili day. We were told the heaters weren't working so indoor seating was going to be a longer wait. Most people were eating outside., The owner offered us referrals for other places if we didn't want to wait. Very friendly and not pushy. I think it was an unusually busy day for the restaurant. The outside seating is cozy and has mini lights, swing fenced in trellis decor and umbrella tables. Free coffee cake was offered as a consolation for a longer wait time for our food. I had to stop myself from eating it so I would have room. Melt in your mouth goodness a reason to go just for that. Crepes were filled with fresh and flavor ingredients. Served with potatoes cooked well and obviously fresh. The hot sauce choices for this place made me think they might be in the hot sauce business too. So fun. Their saying is worth the wait and I think it's right.

Arrived at 10am on a Saturday and the wait quickly went from 15min to 45min. Very cozy atmosphere, feels like a home. Tiny seating area though, with maybe 3 tables of 4 inside. Some outdoor seating but it was too cold on a February morning. Did see some couples who came with blankets (they were probably regular goers and knew what to expect). I waited outside on the front porch and the kind worker asked if I wanted a cup of coffee as I waited. That definitely helped keep me warm. Unfortunately, the wait for the food to come out was almost equally long. Think I saw only two people in the kitchen. Food was SO GOOD, although quite pricey. Shared a savory crepe and bread pudding French toast with my friend for $50. Giving it a 5 stars because of service and food but be prepared for a wait and spend a lil bit more money.

As others have mentioned, the seating area is tiny. This is a ONE cook kitchen, so you WILL be waiting during peak times. That said, the vibes are great, especially during the summer. Located near the airport, every 20 minutes or so a plane flies just overhead, quieting conversation for a few moments before the clientele jumps back to life, giving this restaurant the name "Hangar Cafe". The back patio is lush with greenery and features blankets, rooftop, and heaters for use during the winter. The crepes are to-die-for! The chorizo and Eggs crepe was perfect. A good portion of food, and the delicate crepe and cilantro lime crema complimented the chorizo nicely. The Nutella crepe was a crowd favorite too. Servers are super sweet. Others have complained about the prices, but they truly reflect the quality of the food. The bacon, for example, is clearly not Oscar Meyer. It was mouth-watering. Wouldn't be surprised if it's locally sourced. Give Hangar Cafe a try on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds and you won't be disappointed.

Loved this little spot and had it bookmarked for awhile, came on a Thursday morning and wasn't busy at all. I love the ambience, the back patio was slightly covered and had beautiful plants all around as you can see the planes flying above. It was a lil chilly but not too bad. I had gotten the mimosa flight which was yummy, I think the mango and guava was my favorite. The food was AMAZING!! The blackberries & cream waffles were perfectly portioned and had the perfect balance of berries with a cream on the side to add. Also wanted something savory, so we got a savory crepe( I can't remember the name) but it had pesto and turkey i believe, soooo good and addicting. Came with some potatoes on the side.

Super convenient for those spending some time in the cafe, like me! I also really enjoyed the egg and cheese sandwich I got. I like that the bread is foccacia - I feel like this is unique for a breakfast sandwich. The space itself is very tidy. You bus your own table, but someone also comes by regularly to clean the tables. There is also a clean bathroom. Street parking only, so you might have to park a little further during busy hours. There are sooo many pastries that I want to try, so I will be back!

Parking wasn't that easy but we made it 10 minutes later. Car was extremely hot after coming back. Look at the right side when coming inside Menu is there. Some thing would be gone by mid-day. Coffe was good as well as the quinoa salad and the pizza round. The best was the mushroom sandwich. The down side was the breakfast sandwich. OMG, what's in it?? It's a mix of something like egg cause it is orange in a square shape. I guess is that "liquid egg" mix. Which most of the times isn't egg. Had some poppy seeds? And then realized: could it be the vegeterian version? Why calling it egg then?? The smell was the opposite of appetizing. I ordered them for children and they had some flakes. Not a big deal this, but I wouldn't recommend something that simple on paper, but not in plate. 3 small tables downstairs in the middle of the hall. Seating is extended upstairs. Cool inside. Very warm outside during summer. Water stations on both stories. Staff was OK. They won't answer back even when only waiting for a sandwich to come out of the oven. This was hilarious. Not even at Starbucks. The big "but" for my party is going with kids. Having to take them down and upstairs everytime when ordering or picking up stuff. Because, let me tell you, there is a lack of empathy at this place. You'll have to sort it out with a baby and toddler on one hand, and tray, cups, utensils, second tray, coffee, salad, and miscellaneous on the other hand. Yes...you read right. And bringing all upstairs on as many rounds as you can. While baristas (3 baristas to make coffee and warm sandwiches) were chatting. The bright side: 2 were preparing food for next day :) Fortunately, another patron came to the rescue. She was chatting with their party and was a great samaritan for standing up, helping with the door, and bringing one of the trays. Tip: let water run a bit in yhe restroom. I got burned. I guess it was a bit stalled and sun didn't help :( Price and tip are not cheap! Would I come back? Definitely no!

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
