Cacio e Pepe
Candace T.

This was the most overpriced meal we had in Park City. The restaurant and bar design is very pretty.. but the food and drink did not meet expectations. The service here was fine.. nothing noteworthy. We ordered cocktails, but did not care for them. The duck was unique, but it was a very small portion of meat. This meal is mostly bread and veggies in sauce with small pieces of duck (think pulled pork). The Cacio e Pepe was shockingly expensive and insulting for this pasta dish. For that price we were expecting a large dish with a wow factor, but it actually lacked flavor. For parents with children, I will also note that this is not a convenient place to come with small children. If you want to go to the restroom you need to leave the restaurant and go outside and across a hall to a more public restroom (it was clean), which is less than convenient with little kids. They don't have a kids menu either, it's just verbal, but they did have a few basic options (my kids had pasta).

Wow. What a fantastic spot in Park City, it was the perfect meal to end a long day of skiing. The service was excellent, the server made great recs, and the food was top notch. Their food had some really interesting Asian influence that really elevated the experience. The cauliflower was crispy and super tasty with the chili glaze. The fried chicken was out of this world; the batter was seasoned so well. The mushroom bolognese was also amazing; loved the way the truffle coated everything in every bite. We definitely recommend, guarantee we'll return again!

The crispy tuna from the raw menu was hands down the standout. I'm also a fanatic for crispy tuna in general but this one was incredible. The Baller is of course baller... who can hate a delicious steak. The mushroom bolognese was also full of flavor. I even tried the beets which I don't like in general but I could handle it, so that says something about the quality. It was a bit strange of an experience for our group (company outing) with the server running in and out but everything came out timely and tasty so no complaints! The venue is a bit off the Main Street path so it's a little odd to get to, and the lighting inside was a bit irritating shining right down in your face at the table instead of being dispersed more evenly and calmly. That being said still an overall great food eating time.

We had the most amazing dinner here, our server Julius was so kind and and helpful throughout our meal. He recommended us the squash, cacio e pepe, soft shelled crab, and sea bream. We also ordered the cauliflower, bok choy, hamachi, and fried chicken. The sea bream, cauliflower, and bok choy were my favorites! These dishes were super well balanced and delicious. However, I was really disappointed by the fried chicken and the hamachi was a bit underwhelming. Overall this was a really good experience! I recommend trying the whiskey caramel pudding for dessert

Very cute and nice date night spot. We did a girls dinner here while we were in Utah. This place is located in park city close to deer valley. We had reservations for 630pm and when we checked in we were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and polite. For our appetizers we ordered a half dozen raw oysters and the charcuterie board. It came out really fast. The oysters were fresh anf delicious. The board was also good. For entrees we ordered the Bolognese pasta, and fried chicken. Everything came out hot, fresh, full of flavor and tasted delicious. This place exceeded my expectations especially being from New Orleans. I have added this place to my list for when I go back to Utah.

Fried Chicken - good not great

We have been here a number of times and the food ranks either three or four and the service is solid. This time the food was a 3. The watermelon salad was refreshing. The lobster toast was odd. "Toast" was soggy bread on bottom of what can best be described as a warm lobster salad with a cream sauce. The taste was bland. It could have used a squeeze of lemon to brighten it up. The black cod serving reminded me of an episode in the last season of the Bear. It must have been cut in half as I have never had a 3/4" inch slice of black cod before. And at $52, there were no price concessions. Additionally, it came with an inedible stalk of scallion, 1 tiny carrot halved and 2 slices of radish. It was swimming in a sauce that needed some spice. The fried chicken was the best. Solid serving. Menu said it would have spice but we found little. Not sure what we will do next time we are in town.

Another great evening with friends at Handle. Always enjoy sampling the tailored cocktails and ordering a smattering of appetizers to share with the table. Hamachi Crudo, Scallops, Kale Salad and Collette Steak were all excellent.

The kale salad and the cocktail labeled "Tequila". Kale salad was delicious and I normally don't love kale!

The food was amazing, all the people who worked there were super nice, and I had a surprising amount of options considering the limited menu and that I am both celiac and vegetarian!! They are very knowledgeable on cross contamination (and allergies in general), and our server went through the whole menu with me and described how they could make most of the dishes gluten free!! She also was super sweet about asking the kitchen any questions we had about alterations to dishes and possible allergies with the drinks as well. The drinks and the food were both beautiful and everything was delicious! One of my favorite drinks was the Japanese Whisky, and the cauliflower made gluten free was soo good!! My girlfriend and sister said that the soft shell crab was incredible as well! We had a big group and I don't think anyone ordered anything they didn't end up enjoying, very little food was left unfinished. It can be a bit dark, depending on what room you are in, but it is a very comfortable temperature and noise level inside which I always really notice and appreciate!!

10/10 - I took my dad here for our last night in Park City and it was a real treat. What started out with a surprisingly incredible chips & onion dip, ended with me googling if Handle had been awarded a Michelin Star on the ride back to our AirBnb. Having learned that the Michelin guide had only just expanded to Utah in Dec. 2025, I hope Handle is on their list. The restaurant was a little tricky to find as the front entrance of the building was under construction, and the bathroom situation was a little unique being outside the restaurant, but none of that mattered. Inside the restaurant is beautifully designed and the ambiance sets the tone for a truly special dining experience. The staff were all very kind, and the food was easily the best I've had in a long time. Each dish was incredible, bursting with flavor and expertly presented. The duck fat croutons on the Caesar salad were quite literally exploding with warmth and flavor. The fried chicken... I mean from every angle that dish was down right awesome. The slaw was the best I've tasted, and the chicken was so crispy but juicy and tender. Then that Thai Ice Tea ice cream on top of the Tres Leches?! - just wow, mic drop dessert. I left knowing that I will surely be making a return the next time I'm in Park City. Thank you for such a great meal and experience, truly a very talented crew at Handle.

Wow! I don't have enough wonderful things to say about this gem of a farm to table restaurant. Eclectic modern vibes inside, mood lighting, but yet not stiff to the point you feel uncomfortable. The food was some of the most unique I've had in ages-- pictures don't even do it justice. Martha was our server and she coursed everything out perfectly. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Our server Samantha was a delight who kept the meal moving without moving without rushing us. We brought our own wine ($20/bottle corkage) which helped lower our bill but don't expect an inexpensive meal! Samantha started us with a small tart from thee chef which was a fun bite to start. The shining stars of the evening were thee appetizers. The scallops with Carmel are to die for and the burrata was fresh and delicious. We each selected a different meat for our main. The only reason this meal gets 4 stars is the quality of the meat cuts. The NY was not the best cut and flavor wasn't top shelf - don't get me wrong, it was eaten it just wasn't perfect. The fries with the steak were delightful. The pasta dish with elk was interesting but missing some umami. The fresh truffles were a fun touch but didn't highlight an ny of the flavors. The short rib took the prize for best cut of meat. Tender and melt in your mouth. Of the desserts the panna cotta & cheesecake were winners. The chocolate tasting was good but not our favorite. Samantha brought us chocolates at the end of the meal that were amazing. Overall - totally recommend this restaurant. Just be aware your bill can easily be $500+ which is absolutely expected for Park City fine dining! My only wish is that each of the meats had been more on point.

Our waitress was very attentive. We were just in for a girls lunch and talk and she was great about getting our orders, but also giving us gabby women time to talk and catch up. The food was delicious. My friends raved about their specialty coffee drinks; so if that's your jam - enjoy! I got a salad starter and the blackened cod banh mi sandwich. The salad was a great size for a starter; not shareable, good size for one. The cod had a good flavor but the sandwich was a little too much bread for me, so I eat one half with bread and the second half I just eat the inners. The fries were good and I shared them with my friends. I'd love to ski into this place in the winter! Highly recommended during your summer or fall hikes too.

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary with a staycation in Park City. After…read morespending more time researching restaurants than I'd care to admit, we settled on Firewood as the centerpiece meal of our weekend. Mindful of the praise it's received over the years, expectations were high. Located toward the upper end of Park City's historic Main Street, Firewood makes itself known well before you step through the door. The unmistakable aroma of burning wood draws pedestrians in from the street, and the theme carries through to the entryway, with stacked log wall art and a painting of an axe-wielding lumberjack. At the heart of the kitchen is a custom-built, 14-foot wood-fired cooking system, where chef John Murcko and team prepare dishes using heat from burning wood to prepare foods imbued with an unmistakable signature flavor. We opened with a complimentary butternut squash amuse-bouche before passing on the chef's tasting menu in favor of piecing together our own meal from the limited-time Summer 2026 menu. We ordered pork belly, burrata & prosciutto, yellowtail carpaccio, with elk rack as the headliner, capped by a double-header of desserts. Everything arrived beautifully presented, but the standout for both of us was the elk rack, which we very nearly didn't order. We'd been torn between the elk and bavette, eventually opting to surrender the decision to our server, who mercifully made the call for us. The meat was exceptionally juicy and flavorful. Served with ash goat cheese potato, fennel, and fig chimichurri, it was a disarmingly good combination. I've enjoyed some solid game meat, but I genuinely can't recall a better preparation of elk. This dish gets my strongest endorsement of the entire spread- followed closely by the absurdly tender pork belly. As for dessert, I'm far from a cheesecake evangelist. I usually find it too rich or tangy, so I had my reservations when my wife opted to order it. Firewood's goat cheesecake, featuring lavender Chantilly and blueberry honey, took it upon itself to gently set me straight. With none of the heaviness that typically puts me off cheesecake, it was a subtly sweet delight. The lavender Chantilly was the highlight, imparting a delicate floral note that carried the team. Even after a fully stacked meal preceding, we quickly made it disappear. Service was excellent throughout- staff was attentive and patient, without any of the stuffiness you might expect at a restaurant of this stature. Firewood opened in 2016, and as the restaurant approaches its tenth anniversary in December, there's a sense of confidence in what Murcko et al have built. The food is thoughtful without being overly pretentious, and the commitment to cooking with fire from burning wood endows the restaurant with a distinctive identity. I went in with high expectations, and Firewood managed to exceed them. I've been trying to think of something to temper my recommendation, but nothing from our evening really warrants it. Truly, we had a wonderful time. I'll happily go out of my way to dine here again. With a seasonally rotating menu, I suspect it won't be long before I return.

One of us ordered the chef's tasting menu, with the oyster, halibut, and smoked chocolate being the standouts. We also tried several dishes to share, and everyone loved the pork belly, as well as the yellowtail carpaccio. Both were excellent. For our mains, I ordered the bavette, which I really enjoyed. We also tried the Wagyu short rib, which was good but a little fattier than we would have preferred. I'd order the bavette again, although I'd also be interested in trying the elk of another meat dish next time. We finished with a unique popcorn dessert. Service was great for the most part, although there was a noticeably long wait between our entrees and dessert. One of our favorite parts of the experience was sitting near the open kitchen and watching the staff prepare the food. It added a lot to the atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable.
