We also had an existing retaining wall that needed to be replaced. I wanted to push the wall back by a few feet to make the overall size of the yard much bigger. So I set out to find someone who could do a concrete brick retaining wall and found Barney's Concrete on Yelp. They had really great reviews, and had pictures of concrete brick walls that were exactly what I wanted. He also did turf as well which was really intriguing. Ideally I wanted to have one contractor to do all of the work, instead of having to manage multiple contractors. Daniel came out immediately to measure my yard and quoted me a reasonable price. In the end, he and his team demo'd our yard, built a concrete brick wall, laid concrete down for a new patio, and laid turf. The results are amazing, and we're now in our backyard every single day. Two things I especially appreciated were Daniel's (the owner) communication. He was very communicative throughout the process, always asking questions, giving me a heads up on when he'd be arriving, etc. He was also very thorough with his work and really went above and beyond. He didn't try to rush the project and instead took the time to make sure everything was done right so that it would last a long time. I had a great experience working with Daniel and his team. We plan on working with them again in the future to do our front yard!

The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Yay! We just completed our backyard transformation! We can finally enjoy our new Japanese Zen-style…read moregarden. We moved into this house in the spring and couldn't wait to redo the yard. Thanks to EVERLASTING, our dream came true in just six and a half weeks! Our old backyard was in desperate need of a refresh. Looking at the before pictures, you can see what a challenge it was: overgrown weeds choked the flagstone paths, dead leaves and debris were scattered everywhere, and the lawn was patchy and worn out. The old red brick patio and walkway also showed significant wear, especially near the house. Our biggest headache, though, was a serious drainage issue that caused rainwater to pool near the main house foundation and even flood into our ADU. Thankfully, EVERLASTING tackled this major engineering hurdle head-on. They re-leveled the entire yard, corrected the problematic slopes, and expertly installed hidden drainage lines to direct water safely away to a proper absorption area. Beyond fixing the underlying drainage, they completely transformed the disjointed space into a tranquil, beautifully executed Japanese Zen garden featuring clean-cut garden beds, defined walkways, and fresh new sod. From initial planning to the final touches, the team was professional, efficient, and proactive with communication. They held regular check-ins throughout the project to ensure every detail matched our vision. A special shout-out to Dani, the co-founder and designer, who took our rough ideas and brought them to life on paper! We also want to thank George, the foreman, and his crew. They arrived on time every single day, kept the job site clean and organized, and executed the design with absolute precision. If you're looking for a reliable, hard-working landscaping company that takes true pride in their craftsmanship, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

The finished product is genuinely a 10/10, the design, layout, attention to detail, and overall quality of the work exceeded our expectations. What impressed us just as much as the final result was the entire experience getting there. Ronnie met with me numerous times to walk through details, answer questions, make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and accommodate plenty of little changes along the way without ever making it feel like a burden. His communication and flexibility were incredible. His crew was equally impressive, professional, respectful, hardworking, and clearly takes a ton of pride in what they do. They were even able to start earlier than originally planned and finished ahead of schedule, which was a huge help for us during an already hectic home build. Ronnie also went above and beyond in ways he absolutely did not have to, including a very thoughtful gift for my wife and me at the end of the project. That kind of personal touch says a lot about the way he runs his business and treats his customers. We've worked with a lot of different contractors throughout our build, and Ronnie and his team truly stand out. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the entire process could not have gone better. From the very beginning when I first reached out to Juan to the last day of our project, Juan and his dudes were amazing. Not only is Juan responsive, attentive, but his passion for design, landscape and life in general is what really sold me. Within 24 hours of meeting him, he had an itemized bid, a drawing and some design ideas sent to my email. The project took a total of 8 weeks, with several days off so I would say maybe 6 total. I loved the end result and have attached a few pics (they do not do this yard justice): They installed a flagstone walkway, planted 23 plants and some ground cover, created a really pretty wall made of similar colored rock around the new landscape, painted the front of my house, installed drip irrigation and upgraded drainage beyond the project area to ensure that there would be no flooding. Lighting along the walkways, and underneath the wall was also installed. His team also installed a wall fountain in the courtyard, and went ahead to install timers for the lights and the fountain. A nice touch that I didn't' expect was that Juan had his team wire the fountain and the lighting so that it was well hidden. I can't tell you how many people will do work and leave trash behind, and not think about the esthetics, but Juan's team took all of that into consideration. He worked with me on prices and stayed true to his original bid. I really appreciated how kind his team was and how courteous they were to my space and my home, which is my sanctuary.
