Used United Top Quality Construction Inc to do our entire downstairs floor, to replace some of our kitchen cabinets and to install a new modern fireplace. Joel and his crew were on time, on task and very professional throughout the entire time. Joel even gave us suggestions as to what kind of floor would work better for us, where to get our floor from, and even transported the floor for us after we purchased it. We trust United Top Quality Construction Inc and wouldn't use anyone else. Joel worked well with our budget, we are satisfied customers and have no hesitation recommending his work and services. read more

After settling into our home that we just moved into in May 2019 (middle of covid), we had Joel do some immediate changes that were needed for us to be comfortable in the home. One year later, we were ready to make some of the major changes we wanted. Joel was able to 'see my vision' of the moving of interior French doors to enclose a new office space, using the existing doors, thus saving us tons of money, and it came out so beautiful. The trades brought in, drywall and paint were experts in their field, and very courteous. Joel also helped to cut out an osmosis system from the sink, which wasn't being used. Very happy with the service and results. Highly recommend. read more

We were on a time crunch and needed our shower floor and curb redone before our new renters moved in and Joel got the job done. He gave us a great quote, was on time, and got the job done beautifully as he promised. He answered all of our questions and was able to suggest what we should use. We will definitely be using him again! read more

We remodeled our living room by removing a patio door and windows and replaced them with one large sliding glass door to open up our view and access to the backyard. Joel came as a recommendation from a family member (he had remodeled their entire home beautifully), and helped us through the entire process of permitting, design and engineering. Prior to contracting with Joel, I called several other contractors to get bids and nearly all of them were grossly inflated or didn't have a good understanding of how to execute the job properly. Joel knew what to do and was extremely helpful, honest and reasonably priced. He was a joy to have around and always delivered upon what he said he would do, and the job site was always left clean at the end of the day. The city inspector raved that "this is the best job I've ever seen," after approving the structural support beam installation for our new sliding glass door. Thank you Joel! read more

After receiving quotes for $6k and $7k from other contractors on yelp, the quote from United for $1500 seemed too good to be true. They came to my house for a visual inspection before finalizing the quote, and I decided to add on a few more painting items i needed done. We finalized on $2500 for demo of two closets, texture and paint. then fixing a ton of corner bead that the housing developer did a crappy job on. They also textured and painted the repaired corner bead to match the rest of the house. Very fast, a total of 34 manhours of work completed in a day and a half. at about 1/3 the price of other "recommended" contractors on yelp, I cant give them a high enough rating. read more

Joel and his crew from Top Quality construction did great job preparing our house for paint and then painting. Joel's team removed and replaced wood facia boards, repaired cracked stucco, replaced damaged siding, and replaced the garage door. The finished product looked great and the costs were very fair. It was a pleasure to have Joel and team at our home. They did great work for a fair price Ina timely manner. They left our property looking great! read more

United did a good job pricing, scheduling, and completing the work. Joel is highly competent at the tasks and lines up quality subcontractors. I strongly recommend a written advance bid or estimate to prevent conflict. The job site was left clean and the work was acceptable. read more

We have had United Top Quality for painting and removal of our popcorn ceiling in the past. The whole job went smoothly, quickly and professionally. So when we decided to replace our old kitchen and bathroom tile, we knew we could count on United to do it right. They show up on time and do exactly what they say they will. They are polite, thorough, and dependable. And if there's a problem with anything, Joel will make it right. Not only has he done jobs for us, he has also done extensive remodeling for two of our neighbors. So we knew we were in good hands. You will be too if you choose United Top Quality! read more

I had water intruding into my living room and it caused a costly repair of my newly redone floors, found out it was coming in from the rear wall. I quickly looked for a contractor to fix the problem as it was above my capabilities to fix. Joel from United Top Quality Construction answered the same day, a Saturday, and asked to come by and look at the project. After doing so he was able to quickly assess the damage and suggest a fix. It was a fair price for the damage that was present, and it was extensive, we've had water intrusion the whole time we lived here but never could get a proper quote for repair from any other contractor. Joel and his crew member then were able to quickly schedule a repair date and time required and filled both promises completely. I will always go back to Joel for any future home repair needs. read more

Wife: "Oh crap, water heater is leaking go fix it honey" Husband(me): "I don't know how to do that, wait, yes I do. Let me call Joel" Joel from United Top Quality Construction came that evening and replaced the water heater. In addition, took the time to rip out the drywall and replace it to ensure there was no mold issues. He and his crew were up front with the costs. There was no hidden surprises. Thanks United Top Quality Construction for being, timely and responsive. Highly recommend United Top Quality Construction read more

United Top Quality did a great job assisting us with the remodel of our kitchen, dining, and living room. After dealing with a terrible contractor, it was refreshing working with someone who knew what they were doing and who did quality work. I would highly recommend them for your next home improvement project. Thank you Joel for making our home a beautiful retreat! read more

We had rotted wood posts (at bottom) in my sunroom that were used for supporting the roof. While I was checking with several contractors on how to repair them, Joel gave me the best solution and reasonable price. Joel built a extended solid concrete base for each wood post at first, instead of just using the old concrete underneath that was not enough for supporting the post to the roof. And then, Joel replaced the entire wood post with new post, instead of just cutting some part of the old one and adding a part of new wood. This gives a very solid support to the roof with new wood posts. And the new posts are now standing on a location higher than the ground, and therefore will not be damaged by rain/water. Overall, Joel does the work very carefully and with responsibility, and he is also willing to listen to what we said or requested, and tried to meet the requests. I highly recommend Joel and his company for house remodeling and repair. read more

My wife and I have been working with Joel since 2016. We had Joel and his crew completely remodel our condominium. Two things I can important to us his honesty and his attention to detail. We trust that he will complete the work at a fair price. His attention to detail is his hallmark. During the remodel in 2016, he insisted that the people installing the shower glass come back three times to adjust the doors until they were installed correctly. After the remodel, my wife could not find any defect in his work and she has a keen eye, nothing gets past her. Recently after blowing in the insulation from the outside of the walls, his patching and painting of the stucco was so well done you can't tell where the 2 1/2 inch holes were drilled. After seeing his work a number of our neighbors were completely satisfied with the work he did for them. Without reservation, I recommend Joel and United Top Quality for any of you construction needs. read more

United Top Quality Construction has done many jobs for us. Recently they installed a new roof on our house, and repaired water damage from the old roof. They did a perfect job, did it quickly, and cleaned everything up. And all at a reasonable cost. It was a pleasure to have them take care of our house. read more

We have used United Top Quality Construction for many years and are very pleased with the work that Joel Juarez does. He has helped us repair plumbing and other issues in our home, including building a covered patio, re-roofing our entire house (replacing dry-rot and other termite issues while changing the roof), installing bars in the showers, and separating outdoor irrigation from the main water line into the house, etc. We will be hiring Joel again soon to replace faucets, by-pass valves, throughout the house. We highly recommend Joel's services and integrity. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Joel to come to my home for a quote. The appointment was at 5:00p. I told him if he was going to be late we can schedule for another day because we have dinner close to that time. When he wasn't here at 5:30p I called to see if he was close. At first he didn't even remember who I was. When I told him I was the appointment he was 30 minutes late for he said, "Oh man! That small job with the chimney, I totally forgot. I can come by in about an hour after I run to the store." Very professional. Look elsewhere. read more

When we moved into our house, it had been in the family for almost 40 years. It was desperately in need of a renovation. When we solicited bids from some of the area contractors, they either didn't show, gave half bids (the rest of the bid would be produced after the job was started) or told us their work was so good, they didn't need permits. Joel came and spent an entire afternoon going over our expectations and vision. He was the only one to look in the attic to make sure removing a wall would not cause any structural issues. The job was done with great attention to detail. Our house is the envy of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Joel and Top Quality Construction. read more

As the Office Manager at the Vista Chamber of Commerce, it is my absolute pleasure to recommend United Top Quality Construction. They did an astounding job when we moved locations into a new (and needing remodeling) building on Main Street. Joel and his crew did all of our tile floors, a beautiful desk area for our front office staff and baseboards/trim. If you'd like to check out some of their work, please come by our office at 127 Main Street in Vista! read more

I highly recommend Joel and United Top Quality Construction. Joel and his crew did a great job on two separate remodel jobs (replaced gas fireplace area with built in entertainment center and remodeled three car garage to rec room/home office). Excellent communication, subcontractor management and overall professionalism. Joel's design and material ideas saved us considerable money and he was onsite everyday to finish the projects ahead of schedule. He was an excellent problem solver and a real partner during the entire project. His painters and carpenters are also top notch. We will definitely choose United again for future projects. read more

United Top Quality is true to their name. They provide top quality work and they are a great team with each other and with us. We have done major concrete work, painting inside and out, roofing, window installation, electrical work, plumbing, bathroom remodel, deck refinishing, asphalt repair and I'm sure there's more I can't remember right now. Our house was built in 1968 so there's always something that needs fixing or updating! They offer creative ideas, they are extremely knowledgably, I trust them- I am comfortable leaving any member of their team in my home without me there and they are very reasonably priced for the quality of work they do (I check their prices with my brother in law who is a contractor). One time, I was having windows installed by a window company while the owner of United Top Quality was at my home checking up on his team. He noticed the installers were not installing one of the windows correctly which would have led to major water damage in the next rainy season. Joel went to his office and came back with a print out of actual code on how to properly install that type of window. We gave it to the window installation company and asked them to redo it. The owner of the window company admitted they had not done it right and was very apologetic. Joel saved us a lot of heartache by insisting we have them fix the window. He had nothing to gain from that. That's the type of people you are working with when you work with United Top Quality! I'm a fan for life! read more

Joel and his crew have completed several projects for me over the past 8 years. The first was a total home remodel. Since then he has completed several smaller projects for us as well as one emergency project due to water damage. In every case, Joel has done great work for us. He is the contractor that I can call and always count on. He is available for large and small projects. Thanks Joel! read more

We have used United Top Quality Construction a number of times as well as some other companies. There is no comparison. United Top Quality pays amazing attention to detail. I have had to argue with other GCs before about the work they have done (or should I say, not done), whereas that is never the case here. As a matter of fact, United Top Quality usually goes above and beyond when it comes to their work. No details are missed. We recently had them remodel our bathroom. We went over what we wanted, but the finished product was so much nicer than what I expected. This company is also very trustworthy. I have no problem giving Joel a key to my house and then leaving while they do the work. The guys he brings in are always very professional and polite. United Top Quality is also excellent and conscientious about making sure our cats don't get out while workers come in and out of our house. I know that may sound stupid, but it's a big deal and most other companies are not so diligent. I would highly recommend this company. read more

We needed some electrical work on a house we just bought in Encinitas. Joel brought in an electrician and got the work done in time for our move. He was very responsive and showed up not just on time but early! We will use him again. read more

Was really looking forward to working with this company. They had great reviews and Angies List was promoting them with a great special. I called this company to see if what little little work I needed done would be enough to warrant purchasing the deal. I was told to hold off on buying the deal, and that a bid would be sent to me to let me know which route was going to be best for me. It took them over a week to send me the bid, and by then the Deal on angies list was no longer available for purchase. When I spoke to the owner he told me that i was out of luck (even though he was the one who told me to hold off) and that there was NOTHING he could do for me. I believe that every man is only as good as their word and as a small business owner myself, they should still honor their original offer. instead they told me too bad and now I will be taking my business elsewhere, as well as sharing my poor experience with this company to those that ask me for references on repairs. read more
