Quality motorcycle shop. Honest, reliable and reasonable priced. Bobby and Bruce are no bullshit type of mechanics.

The company appears to have a good reputation for quality ATV parts. I ordered their Bling Kit…read more(billet covers for the throttle, brake reservoir, and gas cap) as well as a billet oil plug and rear "grab bar" bumper. When the package arrived, it was missing the bling kit and the fasteners for the rear bumper. I called that day (Thursday) and outlined the issues. I was asked to provide photos of the items I received, as well as photos of the packaging. The customer service person told me that since one of the missing items was "expensive" she would have to check with her supervisor on Monday to "determine". I had texted the CS person the photos, so on Monday, I asked for the status of the missing parts - no answer. I called as well and was told that they were very busy and that they were sure that the issue was being resolved. Called again on Tuesday - same CS person as Thursday. She had no recollection of the issue from the previous Thursday. She then said that she had sent "it" over to the shipping team, but that they hadn't shipped it yet. I will revise my review appropriately after the missing parts arrive. UPDATE: Missing parts arrived as promised. All installed and looking great! TY to Quad Logic for their speedy actions to get my missing parts to me.

I really wanted to like their product and company…read more I would have given a 1 star but they have quick shipping, but pray you don't need support or customer service because that is where the 1 star comes in. I ordered a tool from them that was in my opinion defective, we made it work to get by because we were strapped for time. I requested that they replace it and they asked for photos, which I sent, then they ghosted me. After several attempts they only responded after I said I would take additional actions. They then requested additional photos, which I sent again. They simply offered me small $15 credit vs replacing the tool that cost more than $15. Poor Customer Service! So if you want cheap parts, poorly built tools with no solid customer support then they are your company. If you want quality parts/tools and good customer service look for a different company.

(Note: this is a retailer. They sell Dowco, UltraGuard, and other branded covers. I don't know if…read morethey make any of the products they sell.) I was attracted by their offer of a 5 year warranty on the Covermax motorcycle half cover (manufacturer supposedly offers 2 year warranty). It was out of stock according to their website. This was on a weekend (biz hours: M-F 8am - 4:30pm Central). Their "Live Support" (web based live chat) was stated to be "offline - leave a message." So submitted a message (usual web to email gateway thing) asking when back in stock. Strike one - The aforementioned "Live Support" was again/still "offline" on the following Tuesday, at 12:15 pm and 7:15 pm Central. Strike two - after close of business that day I had not received an email reply. I think two full business days is enough response time. Strike three - I saw the review here by "Terry K," about the result of his (unsurprising -- I hope it is a half-step above the similar Nelson-Rigg cover, but that one is only two steps above crepe paper) warranty return request. I'm not factoring that into my rating, but it's enough for me to be done with them. By not responding they saved me any possible future difficulties with this retailer, so I won't give them the minimum rating. Durashield Covers: 2 stars. Trashing an etailer on yelp for non-existent would-be-customer support: 3.5 stars.

The company claims that the cause of this deterioration which manifests itself in ripping just by touching it, is "fading" which is an exception to their warranty. Do NOT buy this product! This is the receipt, Devon gave me when I paid for the whole repair on the bike on 8-7-19. But now…read morethey added charges and are saying I owe them more money that the bike is done. I asked for a receipt and they gave me this. Devon Weist doesn't know what he is doing. He called up Joe (Service manager) just to figure out how to ring up the total repair. Then lost a customer because he wouldn't even knowledge the customer waiting for a quote for tires. When I was in their trying to understand the bill and make sure I paid for everything that day. Devon had to call the boss Joe (the service manager) just to figure out how to take my money. It seems very strange to me that only one person knows how to run the shop. Joe called me today (8-8-19) and said the bike is done but we owe more money. ??? Shop supplies, hazardous waste, tax and other charges. The thing is all of those items should of been on the bill in the first place. Not added when the job is done. I wanted to pay for it all not be surprised later. Joe told me he can never give exact price until the job is done. When I asked why this wasn't explained to my husband or I. He said it's because we used insurance and the final price is never done until the job is done. Why would you charge more if someone was using insurance than someone walking in for a job to be done?? Seem a little fishy to me. Be very careful with this shop. They leave all the bikes outside with the keys in them lined up. I couldn't believe how easy it would be to take one. But you have to sign a waiver that they aren't responsible for lost or stolen items. My bike sat outside for over a month. I will never trust this shop. There customer service sucks and no one knows what they are doing.

I was looking forward to doing business with a local Honda dealer rather than my usual internet…read morevendors. I stopped by there to get a quote on some prices for engine parts to see how they stacked up to other places. Their prices seemed fair. While there I also purchased some handlebars and grips that they had in stock. Once I arrived home I removed the handlebars from the packaging and noticed that they'd been mounted (clamp marks and scratches from controls and grips being mounted). I felt a little silly having paid full retail price for something that had been removed from the packaging and scratched and marred. I returned to the store an hour after I had purchased them and explained the wear on the part. The employee I was speaking with turned to the other employee at the parts counter sitting next to him and asked him if the bars had been mounted. He replied "No....wait, I mounted them on my sled and didn't like them so I took them off". To summarize, an employee opened a new part, scratched and marred it, then put it back in the packaging for full retail price without letting potential buyers know about it. I was not offered an apology for having to figure this out on my own. I had to ask for a discount on the part , which was given at about 14% off MSRP (which I begrudgingly accepted). This interaction, however, demonstrated a willingness to be deceptive/careless with parts and how they are conveyed to the customer. Subsequently, I will not buy anything else from them and would recommend others not either.

More than a wheel...at Tommy's Cycle Shop!…read more I haven't been a motorcycle dude for over 20 years. But I came across a bunch of vintage "Ariel" British motorcycle parts at an estate that are going up for sale on Ebay. Unfortunately, 2 of the wheels still had the antique rubber on them. I cut one off myself in my living room. It took me a long time and I just about took my finger off! That really sucked! Time for a professional. I made 4 phone calls, and the only local motorcycle guy that would help me out was Tom. It took Tom, an experienced pro, half an hour to get the tire off! He pried, he sliced, he applied soap, he cussed...and finally he cut the hell out of it with a high speed rotary cutter! Then he went the extra mile and buffed the rust off of two sides so I could show on my Ebay photos that the rust will, indeed, come off. All the while, he engaged me in funny conversation, jokes, and cycle knowledge. Last but not least, all of this set me back a measly 20 bucks! Tom is such a great guy, it almost - almost - makes me want to buy a bike again. BTW, the Cycle Shop specializes in Japanese bikes. Thumbs up! -Daddy Maxx Retro
