They found a few issues with a newly purchased used vehicle that the dealership had lied to me about and went above and beyond to help me. Took pictures,made proper notes and documented everything in a way that I was able to get the vehicle taken back at the dealership! If it wasent for Christian and the service technicians at this location I would be driving something unsafe with two small children in the car. This is the only shop I will be coming to from now on! I don't think that has necessarily changed…read morebut they are blatantly ripping off rideshare drivers (I am assuming all Midas shops are implementing this ripoff) Drivers have to get their yearly inspections at Midas. This year they asked if it was one or both, I naively said both not realizing they used that as an excuse to charge $15 more. It is the same inspection, same form used in the past but now if driver answers both they charge $15 extra. The counter person said it is from the "higher ups". I am sure it is - they realized how easy it is to make an extra $15 on rideshare drivers. So, drivers, answer either just uber or just lyft and save yourself some money. It is the exact same form - Midas isn't doing any more work for both. The one star is for this service only - my other experiences with this shop have been good.

I politely asked her if I'm able to take them off when need be, she got all super defensive about it and told me that I stripped them. Lol.....we exchanged words and then asked if I'm not able to get my lug nuts off will they take em off for me. Tricia and the mechanic Bill said once I leave the parking lot I'm on my own. Tricia is the worse manager I've ever seen in the history of an auto shop. Who calls their customer names? She called me a dumbass and so on, in exchange she got an ear full from me as well. Even the other customers said I wasn't in the wrong and AutoMax broke their engine by doing some work and not putting any oil in it. AutoMax is has the worse customer service ever...if anyone needs work done I recommend Vidal Auto Services across the street from them. I took my truck right across to Vidal's, they looked at the lug nuts and said they are pretty much stripped. They said if they were the ones who stripped the lug nuts while taking them off they would of replaced them or been honest with me about it.

The new auto experience was sublime but then I realized I was only going 20 mph and making farting noises. An auto repair shop recommended Auto Max for exhaust problems, so I called them up and they told me to bring the car in. There was no wait and my Honda was immediately inspected by a mechanic. He showed me what was causing the problem and gave me a quote. He didn't use any salesman tactics on me or pressure me into a decision. Based on my few minutes of Google research, I thought the quote was fairly reasonable. Within the hour, my car was back into its old self and not making farting noises. While I sat in their waiting room, I watched the front desk person interact with customers and I noticed they were friendly and did not use dirty sales tactics. My vehicle had to be brought in a total of three times. The guys there felt so bad for me and I just laughed and went and sat down and drank some more coffee that I didn't need. Things happen and there's no reason to get upset about it. None of this was their fault that I needed all this stuff but they were very cordial and it was actually fun. $1300 later isn't that great but that's part of owning a vehicle. I've been going to this Goodyear for seven years and I just think everybody is so nice there and easy to get along with.
