To be honest I liked the atmosphere of this place better than I like the food. I had a normal hamburger which was fine, Tater tots, and a chocolate shake. The tater tots good and fresh. They advertise "world famous shakes" so I was expecting something amazing and was a little disappointed. The one thing I did like was the outside tables. I like to walk around a lot, so going to a place, getting a good burger and enjoying being outside was very nice. They do have this weird fry sauce. It tastes like a mix of mayo and barbecue sauce. I would highly recommend asking for ketchup instead. read more

Yummmmm! This place does not disappoint! Service was quick and friendly. I got a cheeseburger and my husband got the bacon cheeseburger. So good! My husband said it's the best bacon he's ever had. I like that they didn't salt the fries and threw in salt packets. Nothing worse than oversalted fries. Also, their fry sauce is pretty freaking tasty. Checkout this local burger joint. read more

Great little local burger joint! The burgers are great tasting with a wide selection to choose from and thier pumpkin pie shakes are PHENOMENAL. So I was traveling through the area and really wanted a hamburger, asked the local gas station where to go for a good one, was referred here. Didn't get a shake, but I heard from him they are great. Wait time is a little long and the drive thru is too short to accommodate customers, you end up out in the street. Location has difficulty with specialty orders, was looking for a pound burger, had to settle for two half pounders because the burger paper holder was too small. Price on beef was outrageous, 1.60 per 1/6 lb. Burger itself had a delicious secret ingredient sauce and was tasty, but price would stop me from recommending this venue. read more

Probably some of the worst food I've tasted in a while. Fries tasted like they were fried in old oil, they had nasty flavor and no salt. Burgers were even worse, No Jalapeños not even if you wanted them as an extra, No tomatoes and fri sauce was the worst I've ever tasted. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!! What a delicious place to stop playing on the way through Caldwell! The burgers are delicious and have a mildly smoky bbq burger sauce that provides a unique flavor. The fry sauce is absolutely fantastic and a must have for the tots. Be sure to save room for ice cream - the Mile High shakes are too thick for a straw, but that's a good thing. We stopped by here for dinner before a concert in the park. The French fries were hot, the cheeseburger was juicy & the bun was perfect. The best part of the experience was the Apple Pie milkshake. Yummy! We were just passing through Caldwell, Idaho and we stopped and ate at this establishment. They actually came outside took our order so that it could be expedited. The fry sauce was great and the hamburger was really good. For little place, you won't have to wait too long for great food. Next Time my passing through the Boise area, I'm stopping here again. This is one of my favorite burger shacks to frequent. Usually everything is on point. But tonight the girls seemed uncoordinated. I waited behind the customer in front of me for about 5 min, no big deal, was actually relatively fast. When it was my turn up to the window, I watched through the drive-thru window, what was later revealed to be my food sitting on the counter. In the bag. Getting cooler by the second. 7 mins I watched the girls run around doing something. I don't know what it was exactly, but it must have been important, to not deliver my food to the window, nor acknowledge that I was there. There was only 1 customer inside, and 1 behind me so it wasn't busy. Finally I get my food. Now I love the sauce they add to their burgers, but there sauce and then there's SAUCE. I apparently don't remember asking for extra sauce, because I got it. My fries were on point as usual, as well as my scotch and soda. read more

We drive in from Boise ALL THE TIME! Their fry sauce, oh my god their fry sauce! *swoon*. It's so good. I think I've cracked the code of what it is made of. . But the one I make will still never be as good or addicting. Their customer service is always pleasant and service is fast. Since they have changed their menu several menu items have become more inferior in quality, namely their Connection Special. The meat portions have decreased along with the taste. Their shakes, while good, aren't worth the hike in price. Before they changed their menu, they allowed for three toppings per shake...now they charge .50 cents a topping and fail to tell you about the purported menu betterment. When I discovered they charged me $5 for a small shake with the standard three toppings, I confronted the attendant at the window and she said they did no such thing as offer three toppings per shake. I have gone to the Connection for over four years and that was how they always did it. I returned my over-priced shake and demanded to get the attendants name, to which she refused. I refused to sign over my information to her and refused to move my car until she gave me her name. After signing my information over to her, she finally relented and revealed that her name was Annette...if that is her name at all. Poor customer service all the way around, poor quality, poor pricing. You are better off going to McDonald's. read more
