Sister ordered the fish and chips. If you don't like fried stuff or have a sensitive stomach, order a side salad with your burger. Tater tots were good too. For dessert, we got two slices of the salted caramel cheesecake. It was good but rich.

It was about 1:45 pm on a Friday, and the place was fairly crowded. We were sat at a small booth for two, not my favorite table, but understandable that they would want to save their tables and booths for four for larger parties. It's very loud, hard to talk, so in tha sense the small booth we were in, set apart from the main seating area, was better for my wife and I to talk. Our server was Yulia, and she was delightful. Very nice, efficient, and attentive. Great service! We both had the classic burger, mine with the sharp cheddar it comes with, my wife sans cheese. 100% Wagyu beef, and cooked very nicely at medium. The bun was large and soft, very tasty and great texture. The fries were delicious; crispy and well seasoned, just great. They have a fry sauce that tasted like it had a bit of horseradish. I really liked it. Prices are very reasonable. In fact, I just had a burger at a nice restaurant in downtown Boise last week that had a smaller patty and bun, and cost $3 more. We will definitely be back to Holy Cow.

The service was amazing from the time we walked in the door- we were seated right away, our server was so sweet and attentive. She made great recommendations since it was our first time in, and made sure that we enjoyed everything. The food came out quickly and was fresh, hot and everything tasted great. Honestly though, the pancakes are a must if you go. Hands down some of the best pancakes we have ever had. We tried the cinnamon roll, which was okay, but not near as good as the pancakes- my son got the country fried steak, which had a generous portion and he really enjoyed it, and I got the breakfast burrito, which was delicious and big (I took half home). If you are nearby, definitely check them out. They have a big menu. Including lunch, and the price point is amazing. Overall we were super happy with everything and know we will be going back.

The young folks working there have the friendliest attitudes and the best work ethic, not something too commonly found these days. ReAnn was on point on this visit, she truly seemed to enjoy serving others. The food came out pretty fast and fresh, with my friend loving the patty melt and soup of the day Mushroom Brie. I ordered the scratch made chicken strips and fries and they were hot and fresh, but I must mention the strips are kind of small. Still delicious. Most of the decor is available to purchase with something for everyone. If in the area, you must stop in, even if it's just for a slice of one of their many homemade pies!

I was finally in the area and decided to stop for a late breakfast. I was the ONLY PERSON there and was stunned to discover that you wouldn't serve me breakfast because it was 11:05 a.m. I opted for the prime rib sandwich and was served a lackluster attempt at a sandwich. I would estimate about 2 ounces of meat at the most that was so incredibly dry, I could have used it for sandpaper. Then I had a 2 inch "slice" of pie with maybe a tablespoon of whipped cream. Dang guys, you have fallen so far. I miss the great place you used to be. You certainly aren't worth the drive anymore.
