Called an hour after that I was told it was cancelled (but not by me).. person who answered was admit that I cancelled when she told me prior that it was picked up already.., with notifications or anything. Delivered notification but no food. Update: At 12:20pm The "business owner" a woman, called and said he wanted to find out about what had happened. I asked her if she spoke to her employee about the two times I called. She went on, "since we don't have control over third party orders," after I gave her the opportunity to explain how orders are placed through third parties, she continues..."Customers often receive the order and a complete refund when it is canceled." As if I was the one lying, why would I waste time reviewing a restaurant while I was there enjoying their food on their fare? I politely replied thank you for calling and hung up, having no intention of going back and forth with her. This is not a place I would waste my time with. 11/28/23** Response - Hey Lori Do not lie, please. When a customer was attempting to find out what happened to her food, the way that you spoke to me was not appropriate for the owner of the company. After waiting for the food purchased through the third-party portal for an entire hour, the order WAS called off. I know you don't have any control over it, but you do have power over the way you interact with customers when they place orders at your business. In summary, I am additionally reviewing "Halo Roasters" based on my personal experience, but I am also giving individuals an understanding of what to expect if they find themselves compelled to visit and something goes poorly. Unique options with an upbeat and chic atmosphere. They have outlets all along the wall, so you can bring your laptop to get some work done. The pews are comfortable and the decorations are easy on the eye. I strongly recommend the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl and the Lavender Spiced Latte. They were flavorful and delicious. Only critique I have is in regards to the workers. Although they were fantastic with making the beverages/ food and customer service, it seemed they acted as if they were at home rather than work at times; via changing music in the middle of songs and playing a song on repeat to dance around to it. read more

Everything is good. My favorite has to be their Blueberry French Toast!! O...my....God!!! This thang is dangerous ( in a good way) I went here two weeks in a row because I just had to make sure it was real and it was. I'm not the biggest fan of blueberry but I love French toast so I tried it and glad I did. They only serve it on the weekends so come on an Early Sat or Sun to try! Ive also had their chicken burger and Reuben sandwich their good as well. my friend and I were really excited to try this place, as we're on vacation. we checked the menu beforehand, as she has celiac and has a severe gluten allergy, to make sure there were gluten free options. we walked in, the place was super cute. she ordered a sandwich and confirmed with the cashier of the hashbrown was safe for a person with a gluten allergy. she said no so she asked for it to be removed due to the allergy. cashier confirmed she'd make a note about the allergy. when they bring out the sandwich, my friend took a couple of bites and realized the hashbrown was still in there. she let the employees know and they took it back and asked her if she wanted anything else or a refund. she requested a refund, because 1. she already ingested gluten meaning she's going to be extremely sick as soon as her body digests it & 2. why would she trust any other food order? the employee acted as if her allergy was an inconvenience. when he came back, he gave her ten dollars cash saying "the sandwich was 9.95, so here's 10" again acting like he was doing HER a favor, and not like the hashbrown was literal poison to her body. ZERO apology. It's interesting to me that a peanut allergy is taken with so much gravity, but a gluten allergy is taken as an inconvenience. Anyway, moral of the story, don't eat here if you have Celiac or a gluten allergy. They might poison you and make you feel bad about it. read more

Ordered the lavendar spiced latte, Ultimate grilled cheese, Turkey brie panini, and a rose chai donut. The lavendar latte had a good amount of lavendar flavor without overpowering the coffee. I had it iced and with almond milk. Sandwiches were made to order - nice and hot, bread perfectly toasted and cheese gooey. Donut had a cake-like texture and just the right amount of sweetness. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. As a new mom, I really appreciate the welcoming vibe. They were able to provide hot water for me to warm up the bottle. There was also plenty of space for a stroller. The ambiance is great for studying or having a virtual meeting. Quiet music in the background, beautiful artwork, and happy service. Good food and drinks. The servers are usually friendly within a time limit. I think once they take more than 30 seconds to do an order, the curtness turns on. Realized on my last trip there, they didn't ask what side I wanted with my panini so when the girl brought the food out, I just asked what side they put with it because I assumed they threw one in there. She was like "oh yeah I forgot. Chips or salad" and then I asked another question and she was like "chips or salad" in a restless tone. Like I guess she was annoyed at me for asking a question about the side that she forgot in the first place. Little instances like that. I really don't take up time, am usually decisive, have my money ready, and tip for good service when I go to places. Love it here this place is a total gem - the service has been consistently strong, the coffee's good, plenty of seating, plenty of parking, and they have a full food menu. There's really not much else you can ask for. And the price is so reasonable which can really make or break a cafe for me. Super cute decor too and the bathrooms always clean and yeah I just love it here. Only thing I'd say is that it must be near a middle school or something because I've seen this place get absolutely terrorized by tweens at around 3pm which obviously sucks and kills the vibe but the baristas aren't afraid to yell at the kids and keep them in check lol which I applaud. read more

The yogurt parfait was very good and filled with fresh fruits and granola. The Halo wrap was tasty and filling. We finished our brunch with the most delicious pumpkin chocolate chip bread, moist and with the right amount of chocolate chips. Excellent food but oh so so slow. Ordered food at 11am, pick up arranged at 11.25. Arrived and was told 10minute wait, but no food arrived. So waited just short of 30 mins in store only to be told I would have to wait longer still. Sensing they messed up my order, i went to pizza next door. If you have somewhere to be or you are on a time crunch..avoid! Since writing this review we dropped by for a coffee and muffin and realizing the prior situation the hostess "comped" the coffee which was a very nice gesture. 1. This place is a fantastic alternative to Starbucks! They have interesting latte options and I'm looking forward to going back to continue trying all the different varieties. So far I've had the honey-bee, the lavender spiced, and the gingerbread (seasonal). I'll be heading back to try the golden milk latte and the chai latte. 2.
