The worst service experience we've ever had at a dealership. If you are reading a 5 star review for Hall GMC, I would assume it is a fake review. Their service reps are not reliable and I wouldn't trust them with any warranty issues. My wife and I bought a $120k Yukon Denali Ultimate which started having issues within 20k miles. Grinding in the 4w drive, service lights, drive mode not working. We took it to their shop twice and they said they couldn't find any issues. We sent them photos and videos of the Yukon while the issues were occurring and the service manager never returned our call or email, as he said he would. Robert's recommendation to us was to take it to the Chevy dealer or the Cadillac dealer to have it looked at. Drive system messed up again last Friday so we took it to Cadillac and traded it in on an Escalade. $120k Yukon with less than 30k miles gone to crap. Broke my wife's heart. Hopefully we will get better service from Cadillac. Maybe there is another class action we can join? read more

This dealership wants your feedback, but when the feedback is not in their favor, they ghost you and you end up receiving horrible service. I bought a 2022 GMC Sierra Elevation 2.7 L Turbo 4 x 4 last May. Since then I have had a long list of issues with the truck and the service department. It seems to me that the management team is nonexistent when they are challenged with real issues that ding they self proclaimed image. My truck has been at the dealership for 33 days, and not one single person has called me to keep informed concerning the status of my truck. After 28 days I called GM and they started a case. At least someone is trying to help. Some of my issues are.. 1. Getting oil on the exterior of my truck during oil changes. 2. Trying to overcharge me for a service appointment. Cost was $50, they tried to charge me $140. 3. They add water to their washer fluid and my tank froze this past winter. 4. The mats they are supposed to use to protect your seats and floors are crushed and all over the place, and not being used effectively. Then they leave them in your car at the end of your service appointment. 5. Front camera went out. 6. Current issue - fuel injector failed. 7. Recall on day time running lights not done correctly. 8. When the spray in bed liner was done, chemical overspray got on the inside of my multi Pro tailgate. (Was fixed after I complained.) 9. When the leather sets were installed, they scratched the driver side center console. (Complained and nothing was done.) 10. The dealership put me in a rental that wasn't comparable to my truck. And so much more. You would think, after all my phone calls and complaining, someone would have done something. They didn't. I do know that I will never buy another truck for these jokers again. Consider yourself warned. Update 4/14/2023 - Called today to see if my truck was ready, and it should have been. They informed me that one of the parts/pipes on my fuel injector was bent, and the part would be in Monday. *Still no word from management at this dealership. *No comments on this post. *GM said that they would not buy back my truck at this time. Although, they would buy it back if there was a some other issue in the future. 38 days without my truck, and counting. read more

I received wonderful personal service from the general manager, who is the son of the owner, and . He went beyond what was expected. He picked me up at my house and drove me to the dealership so I could drive home in my new car. That was service! And he was such a nice guy. There was a misunderstanding with paperwork on my end, and they took care of it for me. Great place! read more

I had to buy a good car quickly. Hall Buick had the best reviews and I am not disappointed! My sales guy, Jose, was awesome and helped me with a very quick transaction. He was very friendly and personable and I definitely had a good vibe from him. He even dropped the car at my house for me!! I have been back to the dealership to pick up my plates, and Jose was excited to see me and thanked me again for my business. The finance process was easy and I was not pressured to buy the extended warranty or anything, and they have an insurance dude on sight, whom I am now using for all my insurance needs. I am sure that Jose will be there for me if I need anything and look forward to a long-term relationship with the dealership. Oh, and the receptionist was really sweet and welcoming :) read more

As other yelpers attest to, customer service rendered here is at an all time low and you should take this in consideration if you buy or want your car repaired here. Hall GMC was the "recommended" State Farm repair facility for my daughters car. She is a senior at UT obtaining her BSN. The car was involved in an accident over 3 weeks ago running into wet cement. Steve Denman, service mgr. reviewed the damage and told me by phone that he will do what he can but he would not be able to fix it completely. He then went on to say that since it's a college kids car that he wasn't going to fix it to a high standard. What? Are you actually saying you are going to take advantage of a 22 yr old college girl because I don't live in Tyler and he wants to get away with Shotty work? They had it for over a week the first time. We live in DFW and my wife drove all the way to Tyler since we had a feeling Steve and Hall GMC was going to just roll over my daughter. My wife arrived to pick up car and there was clear, blatant damage still present all over the car after State Farm already paid over $2800 to repair. My wife expressed her shock to Steve noting it on the invoice that the work done was unsatisfactory and paid our $500 deductible late Friday night feeling disrespected by Steve and his org. He had the gall to tell my wife that it's just a college kids car, no biggie!?? My wife and daughter call me in tears, distraught on how horrible it is and that they need to take it back. My wife takes it back the following week and they have now had it for another week. Steve Denman the service mgr has tried to avoid fixing clear damage from dried concrete all over sides, mirrors and doors. Steve again continues to be incredibly hard to work with and clearly doesn't care about customer service and insults me by taking advantage of my daughter and wife. Steve Denman has been given plenty of time to do the right thing but insists on insulting us and taking advantage of my daughter and now my wife. He still has our car 3 weeks later and is trying to avoid repairing damage that our insurance is paying for. Yes, this car is used and I don't expect anything more than to repair damage from this accident and nothing more. Is this to much to ask? I have a call into Mark Smith Steve's boss and waiting a return call. I will update yelp on the results and hope to be able to report a better outcome. Given the 3 opportunities we gave them thus far I would not be able to recommend Hall GMC. My daughters car is not a beater and in fact was considered "better than most" and in great condition. read more

While heading to Louisiana, we had an brake issue with our GMC Canyon being pulled behind our motor home. Unfortunately, it happened late on a Friday afternoon, and by the time it got towed into the service department it was too late to have any work on it until Monday. Robert in the service department let us know he would get with us on Monday ASAP to let us know what work might have to be done. From that Monday until the work was done (it had a lot of brake issues) on Thursday, Robert always kept us abreast of what was happening with the work being done. He was very courteous and professional the whole time we were dealing with the service department. The gentleman (Chris) who came to the RV park to pick my husband to take to back to Hall GMC to get our truck, was also very courteous and helpful. I want to thank Hall/Buick GMC for fixing our truck in a timely manner and getting us back on the road. BTW this was all while Hurricane Laura was working it's way here from the Gulf. I was in the market for a new Buick and GMC was offering a no interest loan which seemed like a good deal. Once there, the salesman told me if you get no interest financing you must pay MSRP price. No discounts. I went to Dallas and learned this is not true. So I caution you to be aware that you may not be told the truth here. Full disclosure: I didn't buy my Buick from Hall, but their service department is so wonderful that I'm now a lifelong customer. I'm beyond impressed. This place is people-oriented. In September, I called them crying because the car I purchased didn't have a horn and the Houston dealership I bought it from wasn't being helpful. Zero-percent helpful. So, I'm crying and mad and the guy who answered the phone at Hall (a salesman) calmly asked me how many miles it had, and told me it's under warranty and they'd be glad to fix my car's problem. They not only fixed it, but they gave me a ride to come get it. The staff was so cool about it too. They honked my new horn as it drove up. They went above and beyond to help me. This weekend, some fancy (and important) sensor in my engine broke on the same day that my bumper to bumper warranty went out. It ended up being covered by my powertrain warranty, but the service department said they would work to get GM to fund the repair because it was so close in time to the warranty going out. They did that knowing I have an extended warranty. They wanted to get it fixed as inexpensively for me as possible, which I greatly appreciate. THEN, they saw my towing bill on the seat and made a copy. They said they could bill GM because it was a warranty repair. I've never seen another place do that, ever. I love my Buick, and I love knowing it's in such good hands. Thank you Hall! I look forward to purchasing my next car from you. read more

Well worth the drive from Dallas. I purchased a used Tundra from Hall today, Aaron and the whole team were very professional, courteous and FAST. I spent very little time in the dealership as they had all my paperwork ready to go when I arrived. I have purchased quite a few vehicles in the past 5-6 years and these guys are hands down the best. They say once you purchase a car from a dealer, they are through with you. This is not my first rodeo and I will say Hall has treated me better than previous dealers when it came to service, and just that feeling that they care. When I take my car in I don't get that sense of "you're bothering me" attitude I sometimes get from past service department. I told the service guy that I needed tires and was going to another business to purchase them. He smiled and said okay. When I priced around, I realized that Hall was just as competitive as the retailors and I took it back to them. The service guy never pressured me and was very professional when I returned. Dwayne and Sean in the fleet department set me up for my company's vehicle purchases. These guys are very professional and they are very pleasant to deal with and no pressure. I have also have had dealings with the service department. You never know just how a company really is until you have a problem with the product you have purchased. Hall Buick GMC stands strong in my option in there customer service after the sale. The service staff are very friendly and always communicate on the status of your vehicle repair. My daughter needed a car immediately after hers was totaled out on 1-20. I found the 2009 Prius online and sent a message that night. Narcisco Bueunavenura replied immediately. I went to check out the car (from Shreveport) the next day after seeing her car retrieving her possessions from the tow lot. Nars and everyone at the dealer (Eric the finance guy) were so easy to deal with and made everything a fabulous experience. We bought the car that day on a Saturday and it was ready Monday (they did some maintenance). Hall GMC did a great job working on my truck. They kept me informed each step of the way and made sure that my truck was 100% cleared before releasing it to me. Hall GMC understands that things like vehicle repairs are an inconvenience and try to make sure that you are taken care of during the process. Poor customer service. I went in with a a/c work order from a year ago to inquire about the cost of having the repair done (I had spent $800 on other work there at the time and decided to hold off on the a/c issue). The service rep, Tim, made a copy of the original paperwork and said he'd research the cost and call me back later in the day. He didn't so the next day I called gave my name and asked for Tim. the person answering said yes just a minute, put me on hold and then hung up. I called back and suddenly Tim was in a meeting (sure he was) and he'd call me back. Didn't happen. Real cute. Hall GMC lost a customer. read more
