My husband bought a **** F-150 from Fairway a few years ago. He went back to get an inspection sticker for our car and they failed his test due to the window tint. The tint has been the same for the last 7 years and has never had any issues passing inspection. He was very unhelpful and unnecessarily picky. Everything you would want from a dealership - and then some. My first vehicle buying experience was at a dealership in Chicago. The process was long and painful; I just figured that's how all dealerships worked. Then I came to purchase a vehicle at Fairway Auto, and boy was I surprised. Within a few days, I was able to: contact the dealership for the first time, work out all of the details, sign the paperwork, come in overnight from a different location, and drive off the lot. This dealership put me first above everything else. The sales team pulled the vehicle from a live auction so that I could have a chance to purchase. At the dealership, they handled phone calls with the bank when we had an issue and resolved it within an hour. The team is very personable, knowledgeable, and knows how to execute quickly. I had to bring my car back to have a Transmission cooler line changed. This was after having put in a union where a leak occurred, but that didn't fix it. I had them order the line and didn't bring trans fluid bc I was told they had it, HOWEVER, they DON'T have the required dipstick! Most cars no longer have them, but you'd EXPECT a shop doing TRANSMISSION WORK to have the DIPSTICK!! I was told "Take it by the Dodge house, so they can check it for you and add the appropriate amount of fluid" Really?? That isn't a FREE SERVICE! After spending over 360 bucks, I don't believe I should have to do that! Cameron, the mechanic who worked on the car, did an amazing job and took great care in taking the nose off to access the Transmission Cooler and I would have given him 5 stars if I could have. Three stars is because I want to continue to use this shop, but want them to know that I should have gotten my car back without having to take it elsewhere so I could add TRANSMISSION FLUID! The 4 stars were completely earned for the following reasons: The exterior was well labeled allowing me to find exactly where I needed to be to get help. The waiting area is comfortable, clean, air conditioned, and offers free wifi. Their pricing is reasonable, neither exorbitant nor cheap, and their sales associates are knowledgable and helpful. Most every woman dreads going to an oil change place because of how most mechanics/sales associates treat them once there. Most try to sell you products or services that aren't necessary and are counting on your lack of knowledge of auto care. The guys at Fairway did not treat me this way. They were upfront and kind, not pushy or sleazy. It was refreshing to find a level of customer service that wasn't abysmal in this town. Fairway Auto really sets the bar for customer service. I drove 1.5 hours to secure an F150 Platinum before it even made it through service because I didn't want to loose it. They could have sent it home with me without putting it through their service department but instead they were nice enough to provide me with a loaner while they fixed all the issues with the truck and then are nice enough to deliver the truck to me. This dealership has a full service shop which gives you some peace of mind knowing that they have checked everything out before they sell it to you. Well worth the drive! read more

After a tumultuous snow storm, I went to crank my car up to find I had a flat tire. I went to two gas stations to get air neither of them had air stations as I was sitting in my car trying to figure out what I was going to do. at that time I saw the sign in front of Fairway Ford saying we fix flats. Lee was shoveling and clearing snow from the drive way so I drove over and told him my dilemma he was so nice. He said even though they were closed but for me to leave my car with them and they would fix my flat on Monday. He had a young man to drive me where I needed to go and then drive me home. I was amazed at the customer service that was provided at my time of need. I will be using the Ford Fairway Auto Center for all of my auto needs from this day forward. read more

Their customer service is great now (no racist or sexist shit). Although they tend to be rude when first encountering me on the phone and in person... every time. They do inspections for $7. They give you rides back and forth if you need to leave the car. And they have hours in a wider range than usual business hours so you can definitely leave the car with them before going to work. read more

They changed the oil of my car using cheapest oil type available in the market and charged me for a quality oil! When I refused to buy other products from them they denied washing my car! Really?! Never coming back! Be aware! Dishonest business! Update: Please see the response first. I have another car, a Ford Edge, believe me or not I pay less for synthetic oil change (good for 10K) in the dealership. Fairway used what they call a mixed oil (not synthetic oil ) which according to them is the cheaper option and yet I ended up paying more ! Then they returned my car with no explanation why it was not washed as advertised ! And they claim my car is damaged ! Just to be clear, my car has no damage whatsoever! Took my car in for inspection which seemed to take much longer than expected. I was asked during the wait if I'd requested an oil change and told them no. They came back later saying the reason for delay was they'd started on oil change but had only gotten to point of filter removal. Put everything back and finished inspection. The service manager here, Terry Strawn, has no problems engaging in deceptive trade practices and smiling while he's lying to your face. I had my truck towed to them and asked him to check it out and let me know what was wrong and how much it would cost. That day and the next morning went by and no one called me. For a week, I had to call every day to get an update, only to get another excuse. In the end, he charged me $1289.00 to have a muffler shop replace all 4 catalytic converters (that he said was the problem). He also implied that his shop was doing the work. That idiot stood there and claimed they got it running, while the wrecker towed it off to Engines Express, who diagnosed and fixed the problem in a matter of hours. Just had my first experience at Fairway and I will be back. They were friendly, professional, fast, and gave me a discount (from 70 to 40) for their services since it was my first time. They also offer a rewards system where they will come and get your car, do whatever is needed to be done, and bring it back. The final icing on the cake?
