I…read morearrived around 1pm on a Wed and it was pretty hopping so don't expect it to be empty just because its a weekday! I put in a to-go order for a kibbeh wrap; the price seemed typically high for the area, but when I got my order its quite a sizable wrap so all-in-all a pretty good deal! The food did take about 20 minutes to come out- I wasn't going to complain as there was a line of people the whole time so I could tell it was busy, but when I did get my food they apologized for the wait and gave me some free baklava so even if there had been hard feelings that would have 100% fixed it lol I'm a huge baklava fan and had actually been considering adding some onto my order but didn't because of the long line! So service was great, but most importantly- the food! The kibbe wrap was huge; I managed to finish the whole thing but in two different sittings lol. The kibbe was generous, and the pieces were flavorful and juicy. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the whole thing was lightly sauced but the flavor of the kibbe popped enough that I didn't think it needed more sauce. Delicious and I would 100% order again. Plus the (free!) baklava was top notch! Sometimes you get the ones where the filo dough is a little tough/chewy and it still tastes great but the texture isn't there- not with this baklava! It was tender, delicious, and a perfect end to the meal. Parking was limited on the street but I believe the Triangle has garages also- I was able to snag a short term parking spot for MezzeMe which is actually why I originally decided to check it out!

Overall the lamb beyti carried, and I'm curious to try everything more fresh!

After my first visit, I know I will be coming for a long time to come. My partner and I came here on Friday night and despite not having reservations, we were able to snag a seat outdoors immediately (indoors would have been a wait so if that is what you're looking for, I highly recommend reservations). The place itself is really cute and has am aesthetic vibe. I have heard that the indoor section can get really loud but that is not at all an issue with the outdoor seating. Our server, Pedro, was incredibly kind and attentive. He took the time to ask about dietary restrictions and marked up the menu so we know exactly what we could eat. He was also just a real fun server and made our experience even better! As for food itself, words can't describe how good it was! - We got a few drinks to start. I ended up having their aperol drink (it came with an ice cube made of aperol as well!) and an everything martini (think of an everything bagel but in martini form. yes, you read that right). Both were good but I definitely preferred the the aperol drink (it's just more up my alley) - We opted for the traditional hummus for our first visit and it was great. I'll def be trying their grilled corn one next. - The whipped feta deserves its own review because nothing should be this delightful! So light and garlicky. My partner doesn't like sweet things so he was a little nervous about the hot honey but its so subtle. - The frena (bread) that comes with the dips is the perfect compliment - The smashed cucumbers were refreshing and did not taste anything like I expected it to (in the best way possible). I thought I knew what it would be but it was something else entirely. - We ended up sharing the mushroom skewers which could easily feed two people, especially with how many other things we ordered. Overall, it was an incredibly experience and we will be back to try more menu items (which change seasonally!) and to have some dessert which we didn't have during this visit as we were so incredibly full.

I absolutely love a cafeteria-style setup where you can walk in, look at all the options, and build your own plate. I wasn't quite sure what to choose, so I let the staff make some recommendations, and I went with their suggestions. Sometimes you just have to trust the experts! The owner's son was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can tell this is the kind of place where people genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they're serving. Peace Bakery has that authentic, neighborhood feel that makes you want to keep coming back and trying something different each time. Nice selection of wines by the Glass - I went for a crisp white from Greece and my colleague enjoyed Chianti. We opted for the lamb starter and wild grouper tagine. After we ordered, the GM Tarun informed us that he and the executive chef were not pleased with the grouper quality and offered a substitution of salmon. The dish was even better as the rich salmon (perfectly crisp skin) stood up nicely to the flavorful sauce, which was served over black forbidden rice. The lamb was wrapped in a well seasoned bread with seeds, a slightly spicy harissa and whipped feta. I would come back for that dish many times. They gifted us dumplings and a sticky toffee dessert which was very kind. Both were delicious. I don't think I have experienced better service anywhere in Austin. Will definitely come back for more business meetings and with friends in the future.

I loved the curry hummus, someone else really liked the walnut Muhammara all the flavors worked well together. Octopus was also good. The hummus was so good. I love the pepper oil on top that gives it a little kick. It comes with pita bread but if you order more, it's an extra $3. We also got croquetas (ham and cheese fritters). There are four of them and they are sooo delicious!! This is a must get especially if you love warm and creamy stuff. The outside is nicely fried and if you never had it, it's similar to Japanese takoyaki. Although I love it a lot, the portion was just right for sharing because it really fills you up. We also got the potatoes (nice, but nothing that blew my mind) and chicken empanadas that I thought had a strange, sour taste. I wouldn't get that again. I highly recommend getting different tapas instead of the main courses so you can try different things. We were completely satisfied with the meal after getting these but still made room for the orange almond cake!! This was extraordinarily good!! Not too sweet and the cake has a nice moist texture-not dry. It took a while for food to arrive so service was a bit slow. You can also sit outside if you want but we sat indoors since it was chilly.
