Take the time to find someone else. Haddon took two attempts to fix a leaking heater drain that was damaging our ceiling. They left off-cut pipes, tape, wrappers and food wrappers behind on the attic floor. The work was sloppy. Pipes were installed at odd angles and the electrical box on the heater was not covered (wires were left exposed). The pipe just started leaking again and is damaging the ceiling again. I called to get them to fix it and they told me they could not come out for weeks. When I pressed them they said they have no record of doing the work. I have receipts. Take the time to find a more professional firm. read more

Our 40 year old furnace was going south and we wanted AC. We went through home Depot and got a quote from Michael at Haddon that couldn't be beaten. Angel and Anthony came to install the new furnace, AC unit, and everything else. They were very professional, punctual, and friendly in general. The work looks clean. They also did a great job at describing the process and equipment. Definitely happy with my experience and our new AC right before summer! read more

We contacted about 4 different AC companies and Home Depot was very competitive and we liked the reps responses. They contract out to Haddon Heating & Cooling and Kevin and Raul came out as scheduled and did a great job putting in a full days work on a Friday then completed the job on Saturday for 3 hours and replaced our 33yr old furnace with a Rheem and installed a Lenox AC unit. The Lenox unit is large but it is very quiet and we are so happy with it! The guys knew what they were doing and did a great job and cleaned up after themselves and everything looks perfect! read more

I wanted to give Haddon Heating & Cooling 5 stars because of the salesman Ben Cohen who was very good by the way. But, due to electrical issues with our breaker box and other issues we had to cancel the installation of our AC unit. We were considering rehiring them later on in the year but I don't think I will because we paid in full, they gave me only a day in a half to figure out if we wanted to install the AC unit through them. (I guess they're in high demand). Anyways, I cancelled but I am not able to get my money back still?? It's funny how this company is so fast to get your money, but good luck getting anything back. Oh, they also won't respond to your emails and if they do answer the phone. They will simple tell you, they can't do anything until management gives me a call. read more

I went to 3 HVAC contractors and Haddon had the best price and seemed the most honest. After the installation I am very pleased, it took one extra day but Juan and Saul were a joy to have working hear and their installation looks very clean and professional! I'll be recommending them! ps the Bosch unit they installed is ultra quiet! read more

If I could give a zero star I will. Horrible company! We come across Haddon because Home Depot endorse them. Their salesman/tech came and gave us suggestions and quote. We contracted them to replaced our Air Conditioner/Furnace. We had our schedule appointment on July 2, but they cancelled 3 days before the appointment. Their guys came in and installed the AC and furnace. Before they left they told my husband there is a missing parts that is b/o. Their technician said someone will get in touch with him. Weeks has passed no one get in touch with him. We also complain about the furnace was not sealed properly. They send one of their technician but has no idea what needs to be done and he still end up using the same "tape" to seal it and told my husband that someone will get in touch with him again. Three days has passed and no one called. I emailed their customer service to let them know how disappointed I am with their service. They send one of their senior technician and he did a great job sealing the furnace. So now I'm down with one problem, the parts that need to have the heater work is still in "b/o" according to them. It's been months and we been calling them and no one is responding. What I don't understand is why selling a product that it's incomplete. read more

Worse than online dating. We had a date for April and I dreamed of all the chilled days inside my home in what was expected to be a long, hot, endless summer still isolating from Rona. I envisioned my golden years gleefully chilled, glowing, and immune to menopausal hot flashes in the company of my new love. Three gentlemen showed up in April and installed the central air conditioning of my dreams, but the romance was short-lived. I went to turn it on a second time, and the system stopped working. It was then that I realized I was married to this thing, and it didn't care if it ever worked again. The city inspector was due to inspect it in a couple of days, and Haddon sent a really nice gentleman to give it the happy-wife-happy-life speech and get it working in time for the inspection. However, the inspector had extensive corrections (more than 10). I was told that he'd submit them and Haddon would call to schedule a time to make the corrections. They never called, so sometime in July I called Haddon to come fix its son before it acquires a drinking habbit and divorce attorney fees. They scheduled a day for the technicians to do the corrections. The morning of, the phone rings. Technicians called in sick and no one can come. Stuff happens, Rona has all kinds of things out of whack, not a big deal. So we reschedule. The day of the rescheduled day, phone rings. This time I find myself the casualty of a labor dispute. Something about the union and Costco and whatever. This is 30 minutes before the anticipated arrival time, and I'm staring out the window at a Haddon Technician who is very clearly working on my neighbor's system. But, I don't cross picket lines so OK. So we now schedule an appointment for August 20th for the corrections. If you guessed that there was a call from Haddon to reschedule, well I admire your optimism, but you'd be incorrect. They spiced it up this time with a total ghosting. I call Haddon after the two-hour arrival window to find out what is going on and I'm told someone will call me back to schedule the corrections again. It's been two hours waiting for the callback and I'm not 20 anymore. What my 49 year-old self would say to my hopelessly romantic 20-something self: There's never going to be a callback, just go live your life before you find yourself at the age where writing god damn reviews online is a source of amusement and crime prevention. I regret not choosing Jazz. 9/1/21 No-show #5 (arrival window 8-12). At 3:20 pm, multiple unanswered calls to the company later...no sight of a technician. read more

I would not recommend this company. Our sales person was great, everything after that was just horrible. We got a quote, we got scheduled to get the AC installed. It was recommended to us by our close friend to call out an electrician to see if our circuit box can handle the AC. I am so glad that we did! In the Bay Area a lot of homes were not designed to have AC back in the days. So installing a 2 ton AC unit and all of our other appliances, our circuit breaker would not be able to handle all that. It was recommended by an electrician that we would need to update our electrical to at least 100 amp circuit breaker. We currently have a 60. When we called Haddon and cooling they told us that our circuit breaker would be able to handle it since AC only use a lot of electricity when they start up. After that not a lot of amp is used. That sounded very odd to me, so we decided to cancel. We paid in full, and we still haven't gotten our money back or a call from the company. I have sent them an e-mail and called multiple times. They keep on saying, someone will get back with you. It has already been 10 days. Stay far away and use a different company! We found this company through Home Depot by the way. read more

The salesperson made promises to us, then quit after the contract was signed. When we questioned the company about those promises, they practically laughed at us. Installation went well, equipment tested and checked out. What they FAILED to do was to: 1. Test the air intakes to see if it was sufficient to run the unit, prior to and after installation. (turns out that the intakes are NOT sufficient) 2. Test or verify the size of the HVAC ducts prior to and after installation of the unit. Because of these mistakes, after a year, the heating/AC unit started to intermittently malfunction. The machine would cycle on and off, but would take many on and off cycles to actually function. Their techs came out to our home more than several times and could never find the problem. The final tech that came out tried to tell us that the HVAC ducts were too small to handle the air flow from the machine. Shortly after the initial installation, we had another company come out and replace every air duct. They measured the air flow and installed the correct sized ducts. I placed another call for service, since the furnace wouldn't even turn on, and they never called back. I called again and when confronting them about the lack of customer service, the extremely nasty customer service rep told us we were out of warranty. That was a LIE, AND that has nothing to do with providing a service call. Being fed up with Haddon, we called an alternate company that came out the next day and found that one of the motors was malfunctioning, causing all of of the problems that we were having. When I approached Haddon about paying for the part, since it was still under warranty, they refused. They offered to come to our home with their own warranty part and replace it...why would we use them again? Their techs couldn't find the problem with the motor, why would I allow them to touch our system again? We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but they have refused to respond. Next step is Small Claims Court. Please do NOT use this awful company. They are terrible. AWFUL!! read more

Never again will I use them. I almost gave Haddon 2 stars because they did come back & fix a lot of things that they mess ed up on initially; but due to the huge hassle & screw up factor it definately is only 1 star. Plus I had to call Home Depot many times to get that rebate, finally a couple of months ago & we contracted with then in 9-22! Here is a copy of 1 email I sent them on 10-27-22 that outlines some of the issues we were having: "There are some things that went unexpectedly bad during the service that we received from your workers, JT & Victor, last week. Both my husband & I have been rather upset about all of this: 1.the items we were quoted by you were not installed completely: the 3 " MERV 13 air filter, which was quoted to us, was NOT installed at all, even though JT specifically showed that to me & said it would be installed. Instead a 1" filter was. Both JT & Victor neglected to inform us of this change. 2. Also my husband has some concerns regarding a 1 gallon bucket of thinset (an adhesive for tile so they stick to the wall; we were in the process of tiling our kitchen when JT & Victor were working here) which mysteriously disappeared. Jarrett, my husband believes that either JT or Victor mistakenly grabbed that thinking it was theirs & used that to bind the duct work together. we have questions about this because behind the 1" filter by the air return plenum huge globs of this can be seen protruding from the ducts where they come together; it in no way looks like mastic, which is what the industry standard is for HVAC applications are & we have seen & used mastic before, so we can tell. 3. Furthermore the condensation drain that JT & Victor installed on the side of the house has since come apart, as of the next day after it was installed. 4. Also JT was quite unprofessional in his response to me when I asked him some questions on 10/21/22 @ 3:45 that day. So that our feelings about all of this are not ignored by Haddon (which would have a negative effect on us & cause us to feel that we have no choice but to escalate the matter in order to try to get our needs met) we would very much like it if you would contact us about this. Yesterday Art Alcala called me regarding the above, but while I was verbalizing my concerns he obviously took something I said the wrong way & quite abruptly ended the call without even saying good-bye or giving me the chance to say good-bye either; in all honestly I felt I was hung up on. This has been very off-putting, & I have re-called him several times, but he has not returned my calls. One thing Art said just before disconnecting was "I'll tell my higher ups we're finished". I don't know why he would say that because we still have not received all the items we were quoted for this job. So for that reason alone you are in breach of contract & probably want to resolve this, I would imagine ASAP. I do not believe at all that Haddon should consider itself to be finished with the job we contracted you to do! We have the city of Santa Rosa coming to do an inspection of the system on Tues. 11/1 & since they now require a 3" air filter on all new furnace installations, we expect this system to fail the inspection for the reason cited in #1 above, so you will have to provide the quoted air filter regardless despite what Art previously told me." We also discovered a number of other things, such as the Zephyr whole house in-line air purifier that was also part of the quote (that we paid for) was not installed either. JT & Victor obviously thought we would never double check what they did up there. To their credit, Haddon did put that in also when they came back to do the other remedial work using a different install team. Other smaller (but VERY important nontheless) complaints I had about their initial work: 1. they left HUGE messes everywhere throught the house (piles of insulation, layers of thick dust from the new vents they installed) that was lef for me to deal with; there was 0 attempt to minimize the mess, i.e. no tenting areas off, no booties. I had to frantically run around with every sheet in the house covering up stuff so I wouldn't have a tremendous dusting job left for me. 2. Then they carelessly, like brutes in too much of a hurry, shoved my 3 month old custom made furniture around right into my bike; thank goodness my couch was neither greased up from the bike chain nor ripped by the pedal. 3. I have an indoor-only cat & I had to ask them more times than I can remember to close the doors after going through; I finally wrote big signes & taped them to the doors so I wouldn't have to repeat myself anymore. 4. No masks used that I recall. I cannot recommend Haddon because they were rude & did iffy work. I would reccomment Moore HVAC instead. ***DEFINATELY WATCH THEM VERY CLOSELY WHEN THEY DO YOUR JOB!*** read more

Omg I don't even know where to begin. This company is about to get sued. I hired them to replace my furnace and AC unit. I changed my mind and wanted to cancel my agreement. When I called Service Finance to cancel my loan I was told that Haddon had already provided them with certificate of completion when they have not even come to install the hvac unit...WTF! I called and called for hours for someone to call me back and all they're saying is someone will call me back. 5 hours has passed and no one has called back. I don't know how is this business is still operating. My big mistake is trusting Home Depot since thats how I got Haddon. I should've done some digging before I got myself into this mess. I never post review but this is all I can do. We needed to upgrade our AC and Heating unit so we went thru Costco thinking they are top notch. We have been understanding as there's a pandemic going on so it will have to take awhile. However its been 1 year + 2 months since the install and we haven't gotten our issues fixed after failed inspections. We have had 2 failed inspection and I have lost count to how many times we have had to reschedule with them. They never show up at the allotted time that they are scheduled to show up bc when they show up (which is past the scheduled timeframe) they never have enough supply or the right tools to fix so they have to leave and we have to reschedule yet again. Why do they run their business like the hated cable companies that's beyond me. I assume since they already have their full payment we don't matter. I'm happy that there are customers who had better experience with them but I see that there are more than a handful of people who had the same experience as we did. And I know they probably wouldn't care about this but again as I have said before is all that I can do for now. read more

Same as the other Haddon Heating business on Yelp! I would give 0 stars if possible. What in the world is going on with this company? We had a new air conditioner installed last summer and it's now not working - which happens. I have had 4 different times that they said they would show up to fix it and no one has shown. 2 additional times someone has shown up only to tell me that someone else needs to come out. They use a call intake service so you can't even talk to anyone that actually works there. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and completely useless as far as I'm concerned. Stay far away! read more

HVAC installation: Was disappointed like all the other Home Depot and Costco customers who thought they were getting top notch quality service. Definitely depends on the team. The crew did install the HVAC but nothing special because it didn't pass inspection x3 times. Garbage was left everywhere, no attention to detail, and sloppy work. With so many failed inspections, even the inspector thought the company was doing too much business with Costco members. They are a busy company but why can't they just install it properly the first time? Yes, their customer service sucks, and some douche named Frank is a rude SOB. Know what is getting done, even watch what is getting installed, double-check the crews' work, and let them be accountable. read more

I contacted Home depot and Haddon is the contractor. Darwin and Mario are the installers and man oh man they are the hardest working folks, super nice, detail oriented. You can tell they are trying to make it perfect and look nice. For these two guys I want to give them 5 starts. The reason I put 4 starts is because the sales said one to two weeks with all inventory onsite but end up to be three weeks and have to order the condenser before they can install. If the sales and managers can just be a little bit more factual that will be 5 start as well. I guess I can see some issue on cross functional team communication. Overall this is a good experience. read more

I was very disappointed with the Haddon schedulers. We committed to a new AC system mid June which was supposed to be installed mid July. They kept canceling our installation date at the last minute and didn't even show up for a date at the beginning of August. Finally, our new system was installed the third week in August. We are now awaiting the two dates for the system to be reviewed. Hopefully it will pass!!!! I would highly recommend Brannan, our sales person and our 2 installers, Jose H and Abel. My disappointment lies with Haddon's Fremont office regarding scheduling and what product we were going to receive. We scheduled our new system through Costco and their follow up was disappointing. read more

I only used them because of the Home Depot Home Loan. I would not recommend their company for mini split systems is my only experience with them. The installers were courteous and respectful. They left sheetrock dust and debris from the wall Mount installs. That is an easy clean up so I'll give them a pass on that one. We have had an issue with one of our wall mounts. It has been 2 months and they still cannot figure it out. The installers admitted to service that they noticed it did not sound right, unit was pulsating or call it fan running at inconsistent speed. It takes about 2+ weeks for the service to return for each visit when they cannot find the problem. The salesman talks a good game. The salesman wrote up a contract for a brand unit that I was excited to have and then come to find out they can't get the system - parts not available. Then he tells you he is going to upgrade you to another brand that is higher quality and no cost to us. Now I am sitting in this position of waiting and waiting to hear back from them. It took 4 - 6 weeks for them to actually show up and install the system and of course they charge you for the system right away. I am going to hold them to the warranty starting from the install date, we'll see if they honor that. Appointments: they have a very good automated system that will send you a date and time range when they are expected. After the sale, I had 2 - 3 cancellations without any explanation. That was pretty frustrating. Then when you call and ask, every time it was they needed more parts or material. Service: Again very respectful & courteous over the phone and the service tech was as well. They would leave and explain their findings to my wife who does not know understand HVAC. I called them and asked them to call me with a report on the visit. That was good so far 1 for 1. Do your research and yelp could have really helped me. I am taking this time to help prospective customers to give you an honest customer experience. You will read some great reviews and you would be like wow, but consider this experience may happen to you and there is similar poor reviews like mine. Roll the dice and see what happens. read more

I rarely write comments on here but I will take this opportunity to give appreciation to Haddon Heating and Cooling. last friday, July 14, 2023 the guys from Haddon came to my house on the appointment schedule. the installation took almost the whole day and test the system and make sure it works fine. Aldo, Raul and Frank did an amazing job on the installation! They answered all our questions, helped us made a few decisions about placement, wires, lines, etc, and were very clean, fast and respectful. Great job. The one thing that I've been dissatisfied about is Haddon's lack of response regarding an issue that came up in our city inspection, so far they haven't fixed it or even called for scheduling the repair. Not sure if that's Haddon's fault or it's on the 3rd-party company that did the testing and paperwork, we'll see if we can fix it soon. read more

Ordered a A/C Install through Costco and the contract went out to Haddon. Dennis came through on the initial evaluation and I appreciated how quickly I was able to get the appointment scheduled. Dennis was clear on the that process and prices; which helped us make the decision to move forward much quicker. It was hard enough getting A/C contractors to come out for an appointment due to how busy they are, so it was definitely nice how responsive Haddon was from the get-go. Aldo, Raul, & Frank came out for the installation. They arrived at 8am on the dot and finished by 2pm. They were efficient, polite, and did a thorough job. There was a mishap where someone stepped through the sheet rock in my garage's ceiling, but they patched it up before they left. No harm, no foul. I ended up having a follow-up appointment where Robert came through to install the thermostat cause it wasn't available during the initial installation date. Again, a quick and efficient installation. Everything worked at the end of the day. read more

We took advantage of a deal we saw through Home Depot when we decided to replace our furnace and AC. Through HD they put us in contact with Haddon who is apparently their HVAC partner. Our experience was really great! From the initial in-home consultation with Will to the actual install with Angle and Anthony...everything was very professional and honest. We always felt safe having people in our home during the pandemic. They always wore masks and kept a safe distance. Angel was really great and informative throughout the install. He took his time to explain everything to us and how the implementation was going to go. We came across a couple hiccups however (which is why I didn't give 5 stars). When we originally had the first consultation, we were informed that we'd be able to get zoning for the upstairs and downstairs AND we were recommended a super-high efficiency furnace. Turns out the furnace that we originally paid for wouldn't work with the pipe setup we had and the zoning option really wasn't an option because of how uncertain they were about our ducting. They did rectify the furnace issue and immediately replaced it with one that was less efficient (and covered the additional cost because it was a premium brand). The zoning issue was a bummer but we also understood. It would have been better to just have the proper expectations set because we were really looking forward to that. But as far as the experience goes, they were really great and I would highly recommend. read more

Fantastic experience with this company. Great value for what we paid and the service was phenomenal! Michael F was a great, personable, and efficient Sales Representative. He was completely through, transparent, and happily answered all of my questions. He encouraged me to read all of the paperwork with the job so we would know exactly what to expect. The next Friday, Angel and Anthony came to my home 10 minutes before the agreed upon time, and were completely ready for work. These guys work seamlessly together! The morning started off with a complete overview of the work to be done that day as well as details about what to expect during the installation. The guys installed a central air unit to attach to our existing furnace. They ran into some issues installing the AC due to previous construction I had done (Not the guys' fault at all)They thoroughly explained what the issue was, what had to be done to correct it, and that it meant they would have to come back to finish the job on Monday. I couldn't have been happier with the way they handled issue and their constant communication throughout the process. So it was no big deal to wait another day as it's out of season to need AC, and again, this was in no way their fault. They could have just said they couldn't work around another companies mistake without charging me, but it was not the case. No complaints, no humble brags, they just found a workaround and got on with it. 10/10 recommended to anyone in the Bay Area who felt that 107° day last September and decided to bite the bullet and get AC this year. I suspect our friends in the neighborhood will spend all summers with us now read more

I rarely write reviews unless the product/services was extremely satisfied or awfully disastrous. It is the latter with Haddon. Giving them one star is a luxury. We installed AC in our house in 2020 and noticed that it was not working properly in late Apr. 2024. After we learned that it is the motor issue, I made many unsuccessful attempts to get in contact with the part team to ask for an order update. Fast-forward, this has been an extremely frustrating experience despite of what the main page of your website says "Your comfort is our #1 priority." All I needed to know is two things - 1) when the motor is going to be delivered to your office, 2) when I can schedule the appointment for installment. I want to avoid the situation where I waited for over two months to hear "Sorry, we cannot deliver this order for you". It's getting over 80 degree in our living room every day these days, which will only get worse as it becomes summer. Both my husband and I work from home (and we have a kid- ) and it's over my limit now to deal with the heat and your non-responsive customer service. Here's the timestamp of my communication to help you understand where my frustration comes from. - 5/2: An inspector visited, confirmed the motor breakdown, and ordered the part, which he said usually takes one week of lead time to receive. I paid him $500 in check for the visit. Everything went smoothly and I was satisfied with the service. - 5/10: 1st call attempt to check the order status as one week passed by. The call center lady said they would have someone call us. NO FOLLOW UP - 5/13 1pm: 2nd call attempt. The call center lady said they would have someone call us. - 5/13 3pm: This time someone from Haddon actually called my husband to ask if we want to proceed with making an order and let us know there will be another charge of $500 for the next visit for installation. We learned that we wasted nearly 2weeks waiting for an order that was never made. My husband agreed to pay the second $500 and asked for a fast follow-up. At the end of the call, they promised to call us back to inform the order status but again, there was NO FOLLOW UP - 5/21: 3rd call attempt. Again, the call center said they would have someone call us. NO FOLLOW UP - 5/30 8am: 4th call attempt. I asked for the part department's phone number so that I can directly talk to the person in charge. The call center said they cannot do it and all they can do is forwarding my message and suggested me to call back again if I don't hear. NO FOLLOW UP as of 9pm. Lastly, the call center had a wrong phone number of mine that I don't recognize and I gave them the correct phone number everytime I called them. They said they would update but whenever I called them next time, they gave me the wrong number asking if it was mine. Noticing how they never successfully updated my phone number, I always communicated them "call my husband" sine they had the correct number for my husband. We decided to ask for the refund because after a month, we have no AC, no part delivered, no call back, no service. They said the billing department will handle it but I wonder how many years we will have to wait to get it refunded now. read more

The pricing and installation plan seemed good. A/C works great. Then it turned out the installation was not done up to code. They had to come back an additional 2x to address issues that were found by the inspector. Waiting on the inspector to come back for the third time to see if it passes. It's been 6.5 months. Getting help post-install has been really hard -- long wait times, inconsistent instructions. I would have thought spending almost $15K on a straightforward project would be a little smoother :( Wish I could recommend b/c it works great....but this follow up is getting ridiculous. read more

I was getting 3 bids for an Air Conditioning install, and was referred to Haddon via the Costco HVAC/Lennox program. Given it was Costco, I was expecting a much more professional experience than was received. The good: they responded quickly to the request for an estimate. The not-so-good: Booked an appt. after being given 3 time slots; was sent both text & email messages for an appt. window of 11-11:15am (and blocked my work calendar accordingly). Estimator (or "comfort consultant" as they called him) called me at 11:45 am (30 mins past window) to say he's 25 mins away. So, about an hour after the scheduled time, he showed up. The estimator arrived, and we to my current HVAC unit. He looked at it, looked at the age on the label, and then requested a measuring tape (he had forgotten his). He told me they'd have to replace the furnace in order to put in the A/C. I asked him if there were other options / alternatives and all he offered was "nope" (verbatim). He kept pushing that the furnace was almost 19 years old and should be replaced anyhow (works fine for us!). I then pointed out that we had gotten other estimates, and this was the first one that said we *had* to replace the heater. He then stated (again, verbatim) "I'm not a sales person; I'm an design engineer. I tell people what they need, not what they want to hear." With that, he picked up his bag and walked silently to our front gate. I offered a polite "thank you" as he left, got a 'sure' in response, and then he was off. Maybe the gentlemen was having a rough day; however, given the lack of communication, no respect for appointment time, and just a pure dis-interest in offering options, I cannot foresee working with Haddon. read more

We had our air conditioning and furnace installed by Haddon and it was trouble from the start. They gave us a quote and then didn't honor it the very next day due to price changes. We had to have the foreman come out and they had to correct serval issues. They drilled through our roof and left the line just exposed and bolted to raw pieces of 2X4. They initially didn't connect the drain pump and caused a leak through our hallway. Now years later we realized that they just ran the drain pump line through a roof vent which is causing water staining on our roof. I just had them out for the annual maintenance and the technician said that the drain line should not have been installed that way and that someone would contact me for a different appointment to fix it. No one ever contacted me. When I called them they told me that it's no longer under warranty and they would charge me to correct their mistake. When I asked to speak to someone higher up they said they would have the general manager call me. This was days ago and no one has reached out. This company will take your money and leave you with problems due to very poor quality work. read more

Let's start with sales Representative, Ryan: Ryan helped me choose the most GREEN, efficient, most cost effective, central heating system, and H2O On Demand Heater for my home; to my utter dismay, I bought my home brand new in 1998: The building contractor installed an OLD, USED, central heating system and purposefully (malicious intent), installed a 1991 H2O heater!!! WHAT???!!! I was livid discovering both units had RUST inside!! So, Ryan helped me choose a 96% Central Heating System with a permanent filter (I just have to wash the permanent air filter every three months) and a Rheem whole house H2O 94% On Demand Heater for my home. Scheduling: Gloria contacted me initially scheduling for installing the H2O On Demand Heater last Tuesday, 6/09/2015; Kim Haddon notified me scheduling for the central heating for 6/15/2015; both scheduled appointments were prompt and promised as scheduled! Installation scheduling for both components are SUPER-FAST and pleasingly efficient! I'm very pleased with contractors, Justin and Jose installing both very key, integral heating components for my home because they are copiously conscious keeping my home clean while installing these two units: These two contractors are highly knowledgeable, highly competent, and oh, so very cool! KUDOS and BRAVO for the ENTIRE Haddon Company's TEAM EFFORT: THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH!!! read more

In the last week of March, we set up an appointment with Cris who walked us through the options in purchasing new A/C unit, furnace and duct work. In less than a week, the installation date was set up. Isi, Mau and Leo came out and replaced the original A/C unit, furnace and ducts with new units. Three weeks later and we are very happy with the new units and just in time for the heat. They were very professional, expedient and answered all of our questions and provided updates. They always wore masks to keep my family safe during this pandemic. Overall, a very pleasant experience and service, one we hope not to have to do many times with this house. Would recommend Haddon. read more

RUN AWAY. NOW. I hired them to do an HVAC install in our new home. They completed the project and the day after we moved in our ceiling collapsed due to flooding. The flooding came from leaving an open condensation pipe they left unattached in the attic--as soon as we switched the AC on the water flowed right out of the open pipe and into the attic. After that was fixed (it took a year for them to admit fault and pay for the damage), we recently found that they had installed the furnace with no air return--which risks CO being sucked into the HVAC. They are refusing to fix saying it is beyond install warranty despite this being a clear code violation. I am taking them to court. Go ELSEWHERE read more

5-Stars for Haddon Heating and Cooling. Our 70-year-old home in Lafayette did not have central air conditioning, so I called several companies in the bay area for estimates. Haddon was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. The initial sales process with Greg Mann was seamless and thorough- Greg was very communicative and straightforward with assessing our A/C needs and with pricing. I was a bit nervous for the installation as the site I had picked out for the a/c unit was a bit obscured by some foliage and quite far from the breaker box. Our install team - Isi (Lead), Slone, Mau and Manny were top notch! Once I showed them where we wanted the unit they said 'No Problem' and got to work. The installation was clean, the team was very respectful (distancing, mask wearing, etc.) and highly communicative throughout the day on their status. Once it was installed, they tested everything to ensure it was working, cleaned up any trace of their team being here, and didn't leave before they knew the job was finished. Really great work all around, and we love our new A/C. It's cold, quiet and has a great in-line air filtration system that will be great when fire season rolls around. read more

They installed our system so poorly that it has failed more than a dozen times in the last two years. We have had to hire third parties to fix it and diagnose the problems, and Haddon has continued to tell us that they have fixed it even when they very obviously have not. They regularly fail to show up for scheduled appointments with no communication, and have multiple times claimed that they have been to our home when they had not. tYe last time they "fixed" the problems that they caused with their shoddy installation, they left the intake AND the output vents completely detached from the blower, so we were just cooling the attic. This company is a cluster of incompetence and dishonesty. read more

Really good job done by Jose Rivera, Kevin Velazquez, and Jairo Orellana. They finished everything all in one day! There were some things that couldn't be helped, only because the manufacturer didnt include a certain wiring hardware for the thermostat , but Kevin and Jairo came the next day at a very convenient time to finish the setup. I was explained how my system works and I'm happy with the investment. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area everything was done clean and time efficiently. read more

I hired Haddon through the Costco program. The price is very competitive. The estimator and installers were very punctual. Everything was taken care of including all parts and permits. The installation didn't take long. Thanks to Mau and Manny. read more

2 months later still waiting on a part that said its not on back order and I have to call every week to be told I'll receive a call and yet to receive any news. They say they don't have any other numbers or manager to escalate to. Finally they give me a number that is no longer in service. Having to call back to let them know I didn't get the corrected number. I'm hoping after this review and the email I send some manger that isn't the parts manger that's never answers contacts me. read more
