    Three different enchiladas.
    Shauna S.

We just had lunch here. Fortunately it was a nice day so we could eat outside at one of their many shaded tables. It smelled funky inside. Chips weren't anything special, but they came with salsa and refried beans. Several employees helped us. All were friendly and fast. They let me order three different enchiladas instead of three of the same kind as listed on the menu. My favorite was the shredded chicken with suiza sauce. Hubby loved their shredded beef with mole' sauce. I was too full to eat more than one bite of the third enchilada which was supposed to be cheese but was actually carne asada. Tough meat and not much sauce. Their rice has corn, peas and carrots. All of the food could have been heated longer. My husband did not like his steak but the shrimp was okay. Their corn tortillas were delicious but small. We didn't have any leftovers which is unusual. Portions aren't huge. They gave a mechanical horse for kids to ride for $1 and there were two bounce houses in the back yard. I was surprised it wasn't busier on a Saturday of memorial weekend. Beautiful views!

    Take out chicken enchiladas

Came in on a Tuesday night. The place was busy but the tables were spread apart. Our server was very friendly and helpful. It was Taco Tuesday so all tacos were $1. What a bargain. You get your tacos on a corn tortilla and then go over to the taco topping bar and add whatever you would like to it. There were so many toppings to choose from. One of them was guacamole and it was really good. When you first are seated you get a bowl of chips and a warm bean dip, as well as warm green sauce. The green sauce has a small amount of spice to it. My son and husband ordered burritos. My son got the Idaho Burrito and he said it was good. My husband ordered one that had french fries on it. I think he would forego the fries the next time. We also ordered take out for our daughter. She got the chicken enchiladas. The portion size was large. It was covered with green sauce. She loved the flavor but it was a bit spicy for her. We had a pleasant experience here.

Ordered take-out from here last week while we were staying at an Airbnb nearby. When I walked through the doors to pick up our grub, it felt like I was transported to a cantina in Mexico City: the place was dark and homey, and a few men were having beers and chatting in Spanish while watching a Liga MX game on TV. Obviously, that vision vanished the second I stepped back out into the snow, but I knew right then and there that we were in for an authentic meal. I got the Enchiladas Verdes, which did not represent the biggest portion size in the world, but about what I expected for $9. The rolled tortillas were short, but spongy and home-made. The tang of the green salsa and the creamy, luscious white cheese that was plentiful on top really hit the spot. The refried beans and rice tasted fresh and flavorful. This homestyle Mexican joint in Idaho gets a stamp of approval from this born-and-raised Texan!

This is legit Mexican food. After a long day of hiking we were starved and this place did not disappoint. Everything is made fresh and full of flavor. I asked for pico and they made is fresh! The salsa is served warm and so are the chips. I wish I had one near my home town!

They do it right. I ordered the asada fajitas. They came with flour tortillas which were served hot and came out first like they should. Fajitas were served on a sizzling skillet. Also rice and beans. Food was good. I had an ice cold Modelo Especial beer.

This was so delicious. The Molocajete!!!! All I can say is AMAZING!!!

Food is pretty good. If you have kids the two bounce houses make this spot a no brainer. Best/only micheladas in the valley.

We were hungry and randomly chose Provisions Local Kitchen and we were so glad we did! The cozy atmosphere inside is fantastic and I'd say it's not only popular with locals but tourists like us too. Staff was super friendly and the food great. My guy had a Philly cheesesteak and fries and he thought it was great - and no trouble ordering it without bellpeppers, his preferred way. I had a soup/sandwich special with tuna salad and posole. I tell you what, that homemade posole rivaled some of the best Mexican restaurants I know of here in the Southwest. So delicious - I highly recommend it. I doubt we'll be back to Driggs but if I could get that posole shipped to me, I would!

When we were seated, we were disappointed to learn that most of the breakfast menu was no longer available after 11 , which is unusual for a diner serving breakfast, and also could be something written down in a menu or a website. Interior was very cute country diner aesthetic, exactly what you'd be looking for. Our party ordered the choriqueso, Philly cheese steaks, and the Idaho potato bowl. The cheesesteaks were a good size but somewhat dry; the bread and meat were too dry, and not enough cheese. The potato bowl was good, and the choriqueso was mostly chorizo and guacamole with some nice habanero salsa. Overall, would recommend getting here early so you can get breakfast. The grilled cheese was genuinely tasty, and I really liked the cortado. The pecan pie was fine -- not outstanding, but enjoyable enough. The croissant, though, was disappointing. It was served cold, not warmed up at all, and surprisingly, they don't even offer a plain croissant. It may sound like a minor detail, but when you're paying bakery-level prices, those details count. The bigger problem, however, was the service -- especially the brunette woman at the counter. From the second we approached, the atmosphere felt unfriendly. No smile, no greeting, no eye contact. There was no willingness to assist, no recommendations, and no sense of hospitality whatsoever. Her expression stayed cold the entire time, and it honestly felt like we were inconveniencing her simply by ordering. To top it off, it took nearly five minutes just to get a basic receipt, with no explanation or acknowledgment. And that's the thing about customer service -- it shapes the entire experience. A café can have great coffee, appealing food, and a beautiful interior, but when the first interaction feels distant and unwelcoming, it overshadows everything else. Staff members are the face of a business, and when customers leave feeling ignored or unwanted, it leaves a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. Beautiful space and some solid food, but service is what defines whether people return -- and unfortunately, this experience made us not want to come back.
