The cashier was very nice and greeted me when I collected my order. When I went back for the drinks she was busy and the manager was standing there like she had nothing better to do. I asked for my missing drink. She rolled her eyes at me then turned and glared at the cashier. I she slowly walked over and grabbed a cup and slowly walked back . Like I wasn't telling the truth? I don't know why anyone would compare the Habit to In and Out. They do not compare. The culture is totally different. I'm giving it 4 stars because overall, it's a decent fast food burger joint. But I'm not here for that. I'm here about their limited time parmasen chicken club. Imagine a very juicy, fresh, flavorful tomatoe.....on damp cardboard. That's what this is. Zero other flavors. Dried chicken so thin, it might as well be jerky. And the bacon? I checked three times to ensure it was actually bacon. No flavor. Otherwise, it's a terrible sandwich. I used their sweet mustard sauce to make it even worse, cuz at this point, why not? I highly recommend the double char burger! It is their top burger for a good reason. I enjoy the flavor of the burger meat. It tastes like a really good burger right off the grill at home. The lettuce and tomato are always fresh and tasty. Overall, it's a high quality burger at a fair price. Important note: the drive thru can get pretty busy at times. I highly recommend ordering ahead. I really don't know how this place stays open. There's never anyone there and the staff is just joking around doing nothing. I tried to place a phone order tonight and continued to get interrupted by the rude team member who acted as if I was bothering her. At one point I even asked if I should just place an online order since she seemed to not want to deal with it. I should have just hung up and gone elsewhere. Of course our order was completely messed up. My husband picked it up without checking. I tried to call back and see who I spoke with but none of the members will give out their names or tried to fix my problem. Paid a pretty penny for a horrible meal. Will never be back. read more

Food poisoning. I came here yesterday on 1/11/24 and ordered the new spicy chicken sandwich and the beef hotdog. The wait in the drive thru took 15-20 minutes. This was the only thing I've eaten all day so it had to be The habit that got me sick. I had to call in sick from work which also made me lose a days wage. All night Thursday and all day Friday I had extreme diarrhea and vomiting. It's Friday night now and I'm barely feeling a bit better. Last couple of times I came in I left because nobody helped me after 10 minutes. I thought I would try again today! My order was taken then I had a seat. Buzzer went off so I went to the counter, the young lady said she would bring my fries out to me. I finished my burger and drink and waited! I noticed other orders were getting fries so I asked the young lady at the counter if my fries were ready, she asked the cook to throw an order down for me! The service at this Habit is the reason for the 1 star review rating. Stopped in one Sunday evening and the staff refused to let us order at the counter; made us use the kiosks. When we had a question regarding our order They were completely ignoring us and wouldn't acknowledge us trying to get assistance. Finally got our order placed, then went back to counter to get our drink cups and again, completely ignored by staff. Another customer tried to order at the cashier and they once again told her to order only on kiosk. I dined in and ordered at the kiosk - not because I wanted to but because staff looked me square in the eye and ignored me when I went to the counter to order. Got a text that told me to get my cup at the counter. Went back to counter - totally ignored again. Staff member finally said "what do you need?" I politely asked for a cup. SUPER rude guy says "just a sec". Proceeds to take another 3 minutes to put together a bag, walks right past the cups to bring a takeout order outside, comes back and reluctantly handed me the cup. Took 35 minutes for a burger meal plus one burger. And they were cold! Like, do they just hate their customers and purposely serve crap food and leave it to cool for 35 minutes after making you beg for a cup and treating you like crap? We ordered three shakes and two burgers in the drive through. Pulled up to the window and paid, but we didn't get our shakes for at least five minutes after we had paid and then after close to ten minutes after we received the shakes we were told by the server at the window to go sit at curbside pick up. while we sat in line we noticed at least one of the kitchen staff just standing there drinking a shake and talking. once we got to curbside it was out in a few minutes but when we opened our burgers to eat them one had a tooth pick in the meat patty to where it wasn't visible. it ended up pricking my fiances mouth. we specifically ordered no onions on either and they both came with a large amount on them. the burgers were extremely burnt and on top of everything else they were at best lukewarm. read more

This is our first time eating here. I placed a curb-side order; once paid for and submitted the app said 7 minutes until delivery. After 20 minutes waiting in the car I went inside. The staff was really nice and responsive. One employee said she was "just bringing the order out" ... and then I waited a full five minutes for one more order of onion rings at the counter. That means while my order sat there cooling, I waited for fresh rings. Notice the back onion rings in my photo are a more appealing color? -- they are 5 minutes fresher which is a big no no in my book. The burgers were served in a nice tray. My only complaint is that by the time we got the food home (5 minutes up the hill) the bread was no longer crispy due to condensation. Not shown is a kids meal and a double char. The double held better on the way home as it was wrapped in paper. Both were as ordered and tasty. Overall the food was tasty. The ranch was really good as was the bbq sauce. It can be hit or miss here. Last time I was here it wasn't a great meal. All the tables were dirty and employees standing around talking loudly. Burger was overcooked. The French fries were also hard and over salted. My drink was Mr pibb and the taste was off. They keep raising prices and it's just not worth it. Other locations don't have these problems. read more

Luis and the night crew are awesome! I went in for a burger before they closed and I had trouble ordering on the touch screen. Even though they were short staffed and busy right before closing. Luis was kind, efficient and made sure I got my order in correctly. He went the absolute extra mile to make sure I was ok, despite being short staffed. Honestly I was blown away with his kindness and patience during a situation where it could have been easy to be frustrated. His strength of character shines through. They are soooo SLOW it should not take 20+ mins in the drive through. They are also not very nice every time I have gone because I have given it several try's they are short with customers and almost rude. Food is okay but not like amazing or anything. I think they could improve efficiency even cook to order it should not take that long and there is zero excuse for rude staff. read more

We chose the drive through which was mistake #1.. the gal taking our order told me she was doing two things at one time which sparked a red flag.. #2 we waiting outside the drive through window for almost 10 minutes before anyone came to simply communicate. As we sat you can clearly see the once busy interior of the restaurant was grim. Slow moving staff, order was off, half of it was cold, drinks were wrong, dipping sauces missing. Manager said that lack of staff things are slow. Not my problem just talk to your customers. It's just a shame bc this place was once a go to. We have come to this place four times now usually every other weekend. Last night we saw a change. My usual hamburger shrunk. Usually I eat only half because I had stomach surgery years ago and my stomach only holds half a hamburger at the most. The bun and meat seemed to shrink. I like the hamburger wrapped in the paper so we can eat it neatly. My spouse got a double charburger and I get the single slice burger. He felt it was skimpy too. He loved the fries and I always enjoy the onion rings. I only saw two employees in there and usually you have about six, what happend? The catsup and napkins were out and he had to ask the front cashier man to restock them. I like the atmosphere as being cool and fairly clean including the tables. My husband will not go to Wendy's, Jack in the box or Burger King for a fast food hamburger. He doesn't like the fact that the hamburgers shrunk but not the price here. I think the skinny man at the register was overworked because he had no help. He was all over the place. Employees are always friendly, no complaint here. This time not very pleased with the attitude of the I believe manager, she is trying to run drive thru and run the counter at that same time. I don't care who you are you cannot be very productive doing both-you are understaffed big time. Two in the back handling the hot food and she is supposed to do everything else. 3 service people during dinner time is not enough. We were told to hang on she'd would be right with us after 12 minutes we walked out and went to Applebee's instead. Someone else mentioned the sticky tables, these people need to know how to rinse a rag or sponge after it dries it can be very sticky. It is too bad that the Sonora store has me snubbing this restaurant, I will always give the other Habit stores a fair shake at our dinning experience as the food is much better than the Sinker Burgers offered by other greasy food joints. Waited about 40 minutes for our food.. once we got it my burger was wrong, I said no onions and they put only onions. I went to get it fixed and they slapped together a burger.. with a ton of lettuce and raw cheese and no tomato. The bun also wasn't grilled. Our fries were also very overcooked. I felt bad for the employees.. only two of them and so many customers. I didn't want to complain about my burger... but they are expensive and I wasn't going to eat it so I asked for my money back. Don't. Save your time and go anywhere else. We waited an inexcusable amount of time at least 30 minutes for a basic order: 2 burgers; fries; green beans and a drink at about 7:30pm. There was a single car in front of us. We waited and waited. We could see three staff members. Two who spent their time talking to each other and the Drive Through staffer who spent her time doing everything she could to stay busy. Bravo! She was the hardest working staffer there. We finally got our order - except it wasn't our order. We got a fish sandwich and a plain order of green beans (the less expensive version and not what we ordered) instead of the spicy version and a drink. So we had to return. Apparently they just threw things in a bag. When we clarified we hadn't ordered those things, the response was, "Just take them anyway or we'll throw it away." I'm not one of those folks that swears they'll never go back somewhere. But I've given the Habit many, many chances and the food just gets worse. The wait grows longer each time.
