Loved a sweet-savory part of the veggies and how the coconut gave it an extra chew. Rice, chicken, and sambal was the perfect combo for each bite. The Kari Bihun (N7) had the rice vermicelli that I was craving. Their curry soup was spicy and aromatic. Loved how the vermicelli was cooked just right and stayed intact/chewy throughout my meal. We got the calamari, which was clearly the frozen calamari that you might find at Costco, and it was served with a mayonnaise sauce instead of traditional chili sauce. We also ordered the Penang curry with duck, but they were out of duck, so we substituted chicken. The portion was tiny and the curry just lacked the depth of flavor that you ordinarily find in Penang curry. It needed more paste. It also had a lot of bell peppers in it, which seemed like a cheap filler. We rounded out the meal with shrimp pad Thai, which was so insanely sweet that it was almost inedible. It tasted like it was covered in corn syrup. The noodles were also way overcooked.
