Couldn't reach my food after a 3 hour wait for us. Either my driver ate it, his dog ate it, he ate his dog, or he threw my food away.

Ordered on seamless at 6:25 Reached out to restaurant and Seamless CS multiple time every hour on the hour until 10pm. No food Food is good but this place is run by Sales and service rejects. I think my drive are my good, threw it away, and won't home to watch Seinfeld reruns. We literally went to be crying and hungry. Silly Seamless agent had no accountability, refunded my dollar amount, and disconnected my chat without notice. Disappointed dude . The good is only as good as the people behind it

Burnt Charga from Kababish

Got Chicken Charga for the first time, firstly it was expensive but most importantly was burnt!!

Beef nihari

I wanted to try the infamous Pakistani kata kat dish, but it wasn't available on the ordering app. Might have to be ordered in advance. Instead, I got the beef nihari and chicken biryani. The food here is on the spicy side. I didn't like the beef nihari much. The sauce had a lot of oil and they gave 2 pieces of tough meat. I didn't taste much flavor from all the oil. The chicken biryani was good and the meat is nice and tender. Rice was flavorful but spicy. The raita that came with it was nice and thick. Complimentary salad of onions, cabbage, and lettuce comes with each order. They do pepper a little cayenne or red pepper onto the salad though.

Next day mixing the chicken kebabs with the lettuce, peppers, and onions they give you

What do you do when you're hungry at 3am and the train is skipping your stop? Head for the place Action Bronson chatted up in F*ck That's Delicious, that's what! I got two chicken kebabs and two samosas, because that's what they had left at that hour and I wasn't feeling the look of the stuff that was sitting out in the trays all day. The kebabs come with lettuce, onion, and jalapenos. They also gave me three containers of their yogurt sauce, which ended up being the perfect amount. And they packaged everything really nicely, each component of the meal was wrapped tight in it's own foil ensuring the food made it safely home. But I dug into that nonsense right on the street. Couldn't wait! And that chicken, my god that chicken. I was disappointed that I couldn't try another meat but this was so incredibly delicious. The meat was so tender I was convinced it was actually making my mouth water while I was eating it. And the spices they use add a serious kick, heat yes, but also herbacious, my tongue tingled a bit with each bite. The samosas were ok, it's the end of the night so it's hard to judge. BUT, the next day I heated them up with the leftover chicken, then added the lettuce, peppers, onions and yogurt sauce on top of it all in a bowl and wow, this is beautiful thing. It just comes together so well. Filling, tasty, fresh, affordable, and open at ungodly hours - how can you go wrong? You can't. Get on into this hole in the wall, take it to go, and smile.

Does that look like chili to you? Because that's what I was told when I asked for a refund! I told them it's a ROACH!!

First time ordering here. I ordered 4 chicken kebabs, 1 beef kebab, 2 garlic naan and THE EXCITING CHICKEN BIRYANI!! I was excited to eat some Indian food until half way through my meal I saw a ROACH IN MY BIRYANI !!!Horrible!! So I called them for a refund and they asked me to bring the food. Upon arrival to discuss my cockroach issue with their food the guy at the front tells me that's it's a F-ING CHILI!!! THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A CHILI !!! So I asked show me the chili and they didn't bring it!! then he picks up the bug and splits it in half to show me. I asked him to eat it!! But he doesn't and throws it aside and gives me a refund for just the rice! $11!!!! WTH, is wrong with this place!! I just left knowing I'll charge back! Eat at your own risk people!!

Gola Beef Kabab I didn't like it

Chicken kebabs

Loved this place!! $5 for two chicken kebabs?? Sign me up! If I worked close enough I'd probably get this every day for the rest of my life. The chicken kebab was spicy and came with a really good greenish sauce. It tasted like ground chicken which i wasn't expecting but quite enjoyed! They also threw in a bit of salad and some onions for free which I really appreciated. I was stuffed after the two chicken logs. This is the perfect place if you need a quick, cheap lunch that will keep you full throughout the day. It's not so much of a sit down place (although there is some limited seating for you to eat and run) but really great for quick take out. Will be back soon!

When you're the only person who looks like you in the place and you're surrounded by brown people speaking other languages, you've likely found an authentic place with great food. Ittadi was definitely that place. They have a huge buffet of food, TONS of options, but you can also tell the food is fresh. And the place was so busy that you know the food didn't sit long and was refreshed often. We tried the coconut samosa, which was large in size. It was the perfect combo of savory and sweet. We also had the egg chop, which is a hard boiled egg covered in spicy mashed potatoes and fried in a crispy breadcrumb coating. It was super spicy (in a good way) and delish. It came with a side of onions and greenery. We also had the haleem, which is a comfort dish, made of lentils. It was so warm and filling. Absolutely delicious. The employees/owners were so kind. They were really invested in us liking our food. When we didn't eat everything, they were concerned, but we told them we were on a food crawl and had to save space, otherwise we would have devoured everything. Again, this was my favorite place of the whole crawl, and I would make the trek back over to Queens just for this food.

I often eat shingara, samosa, chicken patties, and piyaju from this restaurant. My family and I…read morelove eating them, and we've never had any complaints for the taste or quality. We did receive rotten sauce one time, but never again. During Ramadan, I was really craving an Iftar box meal. My dad bought me one from this place, and it came with biryani, fritters, and fruits. I was honestly scared to try the biryani because I usually dislike the ones outside because they smell, have too much oil, or just straight up taste bad. But honestly, the biryani was so good... I was really surprised, and definitely proven wrong. I would get it again! I did find one of the fritters in the Iftar box to be mid, but I cannot remember which one as it isn't something I have ordered often. My main reasons for giving this restaurant 4 stars is because I agree with one of the other reviews that mention the ambiance not being so good. I don't think this is somewhere you could sit down and have a meal in quiet without getting overstimulated as it is next to the train station on Diversity Plaza, where a lot of people just hang out. This is one of the to-go places where people often get tea or snacks from, so you'll see people going in and out A LOT. As for service, I'm not sure what to say because it's always been my dad who ordered and dealt with the staff, so I can't say much. But he usually tells us if any restaurant staff makes him mad, so as far as I recall, he never complained about the service. Also, I have never tried the main course food items, such as pulao and roast. So I cannot comment on how those taste, but reading the other views, it seems they weren't too good. And I'm seeing that people had complaints about cleanliness of the restaurant and how there is a lack of proper plumbing systems. I guess I never noticed this because I never actually sat in the restaurant.. Maybe I should eat from here less often?

The food is exceptionally delicious, with different levels of spice so you don't have to sacrifice flavor. Their biryani options are top notch, and not too dry! You can not ask for a better location for a group dinner! We paid about $50 per person and had enough leftovers for 2 more meals. Would love to come back here again!

Don't get me started on fish types and their various preparation. I knew it's not a proper restaurant so my expectation was not like that. We went there with 3 other Bengali friends. You have to go to counter to see all the food items and then you can choose whatever you want. We ordered so many things, alu-chokha-baigan bharta- alu bhaja- mutton curry- ilish mach-prawn curry- some fish with gobhi- fish fry Out table was not sufficient for keeping all the dishes. My fellow Bengali friends were really happy to see this and we liked the food. Yup, we liked it. As it was more like home food and not fancy Bengali restaurant type. Everything was bringing memories from Kolkata homes. And it is not even expensive. Every item was from $4-$12. We four were there and it was $72 only and we had 6-7 dishes. Only bad thing is that from Jersey City to Queens, we had to change 2 paths, so one person it is $11 for both ways. So we spent $44 to come here and have this food. Was it worth it? I would say NO. but yes, once in while you can come.

You can also select a la crate items from their buffet menu like kebabs, tandoor chicken etc. We ordered some naan, kebabs, haleem, and mango lassi. We loved the kebabs, naan and pakoras. Pros: seated quickly, ambiance was lovely, appetizers came out quickly, the Lasuni Gobi was delicious. CONS: My husband and I waited 40+ minutes for our main dishes (dal + rice and the Paneer Tikka dish) to arrive....... And we watched the people who were seated AFTER us receive their MEAT dishes before we got our ours and we most definitely ordered first. We asked our server MORE THAN ONCE what was taking so long and we got the same answer each time "I've told the kitchen to hurry, it'll be out soon" To make matters worse, the person who brought us our dishes (maybe the chef? Maybe the manager?) brought them without the naan that we ordered. When I asked, "where's our naan?" He had the audacity to rudely say "it'll be out in a few minutes", as if we hadn't already been waiting 40+ minutes for vegetarian food that I could've whipped up myself in 20 minutes. His attitude towards us was so unacceptable considering the circumstances. We have absolutely no idea what happened or why it took so long for our simple dishes to arrive. It's especially perplexing considering that the people who came in AFTER us got their meat dishes first. The server apologized and decided to bring us some kulfi (ice cream) to try to make up for it, but we try to avoid eating sugar so that was useless. I felt bad for the server because it wasn't his fault that our food took a ridiculous amount of time to make it to our table, and it's not cool that a manager never stepped in to try to reconcile. As someone who waited tables for 8+ years, I was shocked at the lack of support this server received from his management team. The dal and paneer tikka dishes were average tasting at best (and overpriced), making another trip here completely unfathomable, most especially considering how we were treated. Note to management: do better. Support your staff and step in to reconcile with unhappy guests if this happens again.
