This has been my go to cart for years now. They usually give 8 per plate, but one time I came with two other people and they gave us a 9th for no extra charge so that we wouldn't have to split any of them. Their hospitality and their consistency is what keeps me going back to them. I am a huge lover of fuchkas and pani puri and I always have to debate on which one to get, but at this cart, I always end up getting everything. I simply can't say no to a plate of pani puri. Their dahi puri is by far, my favorite. The dahi yogurt just adds this creaminess and the tanginess from the tamarind just ties everything together. It really reminds me of a famous fuchka shop back in Bangladesh. I have been craving that flavor and finding this cart made the long search end. This was so good! The fuska was stuffed with boil egg and I think potato too. It was so flavorful and super filling. The milk tea was also really flavorful and delicious. I recommend paying with cash but they do take Apple Pay as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are some chairs next to the cart if you wanted to "dine in".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall I would 100% visit again. I'm so glad I finally got to try their Fuska. I was hungry but didn't want anything too heavy. I just wanted something quick so I can be on the go again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This stall is fantastic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ended up ordering their Dahi Fuska and it was delicious! I love the grated eggs on top and their liquid tamarian was refreshing. I asked that they add a little heat to my fuska, which they did and that also elevated the delicious food snack. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I saw other stalls all next to each other but this one had more people so my guess is that they are the most popular one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I still would love to try the other stall but if you're like me and it's your first time and go for this one first. I ended up eating there as I'm told, it should be eaten immediately. This was a good thing because I ran out of sauce, asked for more and they gave it to me. read more

Feels a little messier and the flavors are a bit mixed up than their counterpart, Tong, around the corner. Their fuschka is very good and I would eat it anytime, but since my favorite version is right there, I rarely come here. read more

We usually go to Tong to get fuskhas, which is right next to Fuskhahouse, but this time we decided to try something new. Despite the long line, it moved quickly thanks to the efficient team running the food truck. One person was dedicated to taking orders, and everyone working there was very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are several benches nearby, making it easy to sit and enjoy your food or wait comfortably.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu offers a variety of tempting options, but what I really liked about this place more then others was that they had hot tea (Chai) which is a bonus. We ordered the Doi Fuskha and the Bhel Puri, and both were absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and perfectly prepared. Next time we are in Jackson Heights, we will stop by again to try more items. read more

First time trying Bangladeshi food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did not realize it was all food trucks, no seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was not sure which one to choose... this one says "we are the original." I got the regular fushka and jhalmuri to go. Fushka is fun to eat. I like the egg in fushka. Tamarind sauce that came with it was interesting not like anything I've had before. I like the flavor of jhalmuri- lemony spicy and peanutty. They give you chai while you wait. Amazing! read more

If you rearrange the letters in pani, you get pain-- as in the pain I'm suffering from not having them for too long! Normally I like to try a few things before reviewing a place but the pani puri seems to be their signature item and the amount of times I think of them weekly is relentless. I can still taste the fluffiness of those egg strands from the memories of my tongue. The pillowy mashed potato slathered with a thin but lightly spicy tamarind juice. And the soft crisp of the tiny egg shells. It truly was the closest thing to eating an orchestra. My pregnant wife still won't let me name our child "Fushka". read more

This was the spot I was looking forward to most on my food tour, and it did not disappoint! I was excited to try fuchka, the Bengali version of what I know as pani puri. We opted to try the dahi fuchka, which was light, savory, and crispy. The tamarind sauce added a nice tang that tied all the flavors together. We demolished the tray immediately, and I found myself wishing we had gotten a second plate. I cannot wait to go back for this exact dish, and to try others! had a craving and was in jackson heights - i am SO glad i researched this spot for some authentic street food i got the pani puri since i wanted something carb dense but savory and these were SO GOOD! the pani was sour and the puris were stuffed with all the good stuff. the price is incredibly reasonable and they made it super quick so service was indeed there i def will be back and bring friends so we can get chaat and a bunch of stuff to split it and enjoy read more

This place offers a variety of phuckas and panipuris. We tried the dahi phuchka and the regular phuchka, and I personally preferred the dahi phuchka. It was incredibly delicious, and I couldn't resist sipping the extra dahi from the plate. If you're feeling nostalgic about your home, I highly recommend this place. read more

I've basically tried everything on their menu at this point and love it all. They are worth the hype. Authentic flavors that had my nose running, eyes watering, mouth salivating and my soul happy. Coming from West Bengal, this is the type of pani puri I grew up eating and was so happy to have the nostalgia in New York. This food cart, like many of its competitors in Jackson heights, serves authentic Bangladeshi street food. My mouth is watering as I think back on the incredible fuska I had here earlier this month (and it was only $7!). There was so much flavor with each bite of potatoes, chilies, onion, and shaved egg. I love Fuska and this place is so good! I used to go to Tong more often but honestly, I cannot tell the difference between Fuskahouse and Tong. Also, this place has 2 food trucks on the same street, not to be confused with Fuskacart. You order first, and if you're going to eat it there, you pay afterward. Panipuri - To be honest, I really don't know what the difference between panipuri and fuchka is, although I know that they originate from completely separate geographic areas. I feel like panipuri's little "container" felt more empty, so maybe it didn't have as much potato filling inside. - Dahi Fuchka - I love fuchka, especially dahi fuchka as the yogurt helps contrast the bite of the crackers on top. I also love both the sweet flavors of the chutney water contrasting the saltiness of the potato filling. This is a perfect bite on a hot summer day or during the winter too. Love all the fuchka carts in the region and you really cannot go wrong with any of them. read more

Miss the days when I lived closer because as a Bengali I'd always bring friends here to try fuchka. Now I only come here when my parents are visiting. The service is quick and the fuchka is always tasty. Typically your fuchka will come with mashed potatoes, chickpeas, eggs, and onion and you pour tamarind into each one. A definite must whenever I'm in the area! read more

Just to clarify everyone who is calling 'Fuchka' 'Panipuri' , as a Bangladeshi it bothers me tremendously! There is a significant difference between the 2 items. Panipuri is originally an Indian item & taste totally different! While Fuchka is originally a Bangladeshi item who also has totally different taste & there's a lot more goes into making Fuchka! I know people who are not native to both countries they still can experience the difference between this two. So I would appreciate if everyone sticks to the proper name when you trying something new! Now let's talk about the food here. One of the first & best Fuchka places in Jackson Heights(if I am not mistaken) At first they started with one cart , now they have two. Their customer service is great. They are always so busy with huge lines, so I would not blame them if their service is little off sometimes. They just probably be tired . I am very proud of this accomplishment, it was a long journey. But they are still here better than before . Thank you guys for giving us a chance to eat our favorite street foods! read more

Came here a couple of times but only tried the Fuska and Panini Puri. I'm not even sure which one I like more because they're different in their own ways. But if you like it to be more filling then get the Fuska because it has eggs. This is basically a light snack, but it's super refreshing with the sweeten tamarind sauce. The service is quick, and stand against the wall to be called when your order is ready. There are also many stalls to choose from. read more

This was our second stop on a food cart tour in Jackson Heights. We learned the history of the owners of the food cart. They immigrated from Bangladesh and missed their street food from back home and decided to open up a food cart, which has become very successful. Unlike street carts in Manhattan, they actually have small stools where you can sit and enjoy your food, which I really appreciate. We tried the mango chat and the fuchka. The fuchka had a really nice unexpected crunch. All of the flavors blended nicely even though I found it extremely spicy. The mango chat was very tasty and refreshing. I happen to be early this time and got to enjoy this amazing street food which I've had in street fairs as well and it's delicious to the core. I've had pani puri before, but I liked this even more. The combination of all the toppings and textures was so interesting and addictive. It's savory, sour and a little sweet all in one crunchy bite. A few of the reviews here describe the tamarind water as a dipping sauce, but you're actually meant to spoon some into each of the little balls as you're eating. A large amount of food for the price (8 balls for $7) and there's plenty of little plastic stools to enjoy the snack on the sidewalk. I definitely will be returning next time I'm in the neighborhood, I can't stop thinking about it! read more

While exploring Jackson Heights, my friend and I decided that we must check out Fuska House to see what the hype was all about. It was freezing outside and yet, people were lined up for these treats. My friend ordered Pani Puri, while I got Fuska. We sat on a stool in front of the food truck, and the kind staff member brought our food over in less than 10 minutes. The Fuska consisted of a blend of chickpeas, potatoes, onion, shredded egg, and cilantro inside a deep fried shell. I dipped each one into tamarind water before popping them into my mouth. Every single one was bursting with flavor! The Pani Puri was slightly similar to the Fuska, except the shells included spicy potato noodles and the tamarind water was tangy. It was also delicious! There were only eight pieces of each deep fried shells on a plate, but they were enough to fill us up for a couple of hours. read more

Incredible Fuska!! was my first time trying this delicious tamarind water + shredded egg topped Bengali delicacy. We came with a food tour group and got to try their regular fuska (would love to try the Yogurt filled one if possible in the future). the mashed potatoes blend so well with the crisp of the cracker shell and the spices all just work incredibly with the other components of the dish. at $7 for a set of 6+ pieces, this is more than a worth it deal. an absolute must stop by if you are in the South Eastern/Halal/Muslim part of Queens!! service is very friendly and the vibes are amazing. the store employees offered to take pictures for my group. really enjoyed my experience here. would order again! read more

The panipuri was such a delight! These little crispy balls were filled with a savory potato and chickpea mix and topping it with the tamarind sauce added a fantastic burst of flavor! They really got the service down, someone was standing outside the cart helping to order and giving us little seats on the street to sit at. This was a perfect little snack to share. read more

Ugh I wish I lived closer to Fuskahouse - I am craving their fuska right now thinking about it. I typically go to Tong (which is delicious in its own right), but one of my Bengali coworkers directed me to Fuskahouse which she swears is the best of the numerous fuska carts/restaurants in the area. And after tasting it, I'd have to agree. Fuska is just such a delightful bite of so many wonderful textures and flavors - a crunch that leads to an explosion of flavors of spicy, salty, tangy, sweetness. I can eat a whole crate of them myself. Whenever I'm back in Jackson Heights, definitely going to make a stop here again! read more

Around the corner from Tong, Fuskahouse also boasts an incredible number of awards and accolades (as well as patrons). I also noticed some tour guides bringing their groups to this food cart as well as locals stopping by for a snack. I ordered the dahi fuchka ($7) and wanted some chai as well but unfortunately, it was not ready yet. Our dahi fuchka came smothered with this creamy masala-tinged yogurt that was so cooling and topped with delicious crispy potato noodles. The fuchka had the same mashed potatoes, seasoned chickpeas, onions, cilantro, and grated egg inside Compared to Tong's, I think the spice level of the fuchka filling is a little stronger and the tamarind chutney a little waterier at Fuskahouse. Both are excellent options, but I did appreciate that our vendor snuck in an extra fuchka for us as we had a group of 4 people so everyone could eat 2. It's the little things that win me over. I will note that if you order the dahi fuchka, you should eat it immediately because the yogurt disintegrates the crispy puri shells. By the end of it, we were using spoons to cram the whole thing into our mouths in a single bite. Not the most elegant but damn satisfying. read more

A mandatory stop in any Jackson Heights food crawl -- this iconic food truck serves up delicious fuskas (similar to Pani Puri) with different toppings. The filling is delicious, with my personal favorite being the Dahi/Doi Fuska. The fuska felt authentic and was different from the usual pani puris I've seen, but just as yummy. There were so many of the same trucks with the same name, we just chose the one with the longer line. I heard good things about pani puri, so I made it a goal to add it to my Jackson Heights food crawl. This savory little treat did not disappoint! We ended up getting the #1, the Fuchka, which had a boiled shredded egg amidst the medley of flavors. It was my first time experiencing such a flavor before. I had thought the deep fried sphere would be heavy in both flavor and weight, but they were actually so thin, with a very pleasant decadent taste. You can easily gulf these down. Made sure to add this place to my itinerary during my NYC trip and I'm so happy I did. After I was done shopping around I stopped here for lunch and was able to introduce my friend to an amazing bengali cuisine known as fuska. If you've never had fuska before, it's an amazing flavor explosion consisting of crispy, spicy, tarte. There is a potato filling with egg grated on top. The liquid in the middle is tamarind water that is spicy and tarte. I recommend this place because it's hard to find places that do it like fuskahouse on the west coast. It's too good! read more

I enjoyed trying something new at this food truck. My friends and I got a variety of different things. I ordered the Bhelpuri, which was a thin puffed rice cracker topped with cucumber and other flavorings/spices/herbs. It was very refreshing but also had a spicy kick. I tried some of my friend's Fuchka, which was SO good!! It had such a burst of flavor, which had a filling of potato + chickpea mash, garnished with grated boiled eggs. They serve tamarind sauce for all of the dishes, at least the ones we ordered. This was such a street food experience, as we enjoyed our dishes from Fuskahouse on plastic stools next to the food truck, under the adjacent building's shade. read more

If you're craving some real-deal Bengali street food, Fuskahouse in Jackson Heights is where it's at. We tried the Dahi Fuska, the regular Fuska, and the Jhalmuri. Heads up--everything is super spicy, so if you're not into heat, tread lightly. The Fuska is kinda like Panipuri, but with chickpeas, and the Dahi Fuska has yogurt, which we liked even better than the regular one. Both were still really good and definitely affordable. The Jhalmuri was tasty too, but it got soggy pretty quickly, so maybe eat that fast. It came with a side of onions and greenery. We also had the haleem, which is a comfort dish, made of lentils. It was so warm and filling. Absolutely delicious. The employees/owners were so kind. They were really invested in us liking our food. When we didn't eat everything, they were concerned, but we told them we were on a food crawl and had to save space, otherwise we would have devoured everything. Again, this was my favorite place of the whole crawl, and I would make the trek back over to Queens just for this food.

It's not exactly a destination spot, but serves the neighborhood well as a locals only type establishment. Like many of the shops along 37th, the space is super tight with an old school exterior look. This is more of a takeout joint than anything, but I imagine coming in for some tea and a snack from the display is doable on a solo adventure. I haven't used the bathrooms yet and given the relatively grimy interior, I'm not sure I would want to. I initially came for the sweets and ended up getting their infamous fuchka and wasn't disappointed. They also serve a halfway decent bortha, which I prefer with potato over the shrimp and tomato. I had tried their beef teheri and the boneless version of their beef kalovuna and give it a thumbs up. The sweets (especially their burfi) were disappointing for how dry they were (both the coconut and gazar were like chalk). Star wise, I'd have to give them a 4 for the food I've tried, but the overall 3 is for the lackluster service. Despite having come here a number of times, it's never been the warmest of encounters. The prices are pretty decent and the flow of the crowd is steady throughout the week. While they take CC, cash is always king.

Fuskahouse in Jackson Heights is a must-visit if you're into bold, authentic street food. This food truck, tucked into a street corner, serves up incredible fuskas that completely blew me away. FuskaHouse_nyc was amazed with the standard of service, food presentation and specially with delicious food. Quality and quantity both was perfect.
