If you haven't tried Ha Noi Corner yet, you're seriously missing out. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed like family. The staff is incredibly hospitable, attentive, and genuinely kind--it's the kind of service that makes you want to stay longer and come back again and again. The food? SO good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We had bánh tráng trộn,gỏi đu đủ (papaya salad), eggrolls, squid salad, nghêu hấp sả lá quế. kumquat drinks. All dishes are packed with flavor, and had the perfect balance of herbs, textures, and crunch. You can really taste the quality in every bite. While they're no longer focused solely on Northern Vietnamese cuisine, the expanded menu now offers a wider variety of Vietnamese dishes, which makes the experience even more exciting. There's truly something for everyone, and everything we tried was rich, comforting, and satisfying. What really makes this place stand out is the overall experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for family meals or casual hangouts. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers--not just about the food, but about how you feel while dining there. If you're looking for a spot with amazing Vietnamese food, warm service, and a welcoming vibe, this is definitely a must-try in Garden Grove. Highly recommend--you'll leave full and happy. Not just a meal--it's the whole experience We're already planning our next visit to try more! P.S. I just hope I was able to take a picture of all the food we ate...

We stopped by Ha Noi Corner around 10 AM and were seated right away, which already set such a peaceful tone for the morning. The moment the food arrived, it honestly felt like a little taste of home. The bún chả was outstanding. The meatballs were the perfect size, flat, not round, just the way they should be. It's such a small detail, but it makes the dish feel so authentic. The presentation was beautiful too, the kind that makes you pause for a second before digging in. The bún bò Huế brought me straight back to Southern Vietnam. The broth had that familiar warmth and depth, and the pork feet were unbelievably tender. Every bite felt comforting, like something made with real care. Portions were huge, and we left completely full and happy. What really made the experience special was the staff. They were extremely polite, gentle in the way they spoke, and genuinely welcoming. It's the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after the meal. This place doesn't just serve food, it serves memories. A perfect spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese flavors with heart.

Great little restaurant in the heart of Garden Grove. Literally situated on the corner of the strip mall. Ample parking. Restaurant is clean, spacious, and bright. Service is quick and friendly. Although our drinks came out after our food did, we just figured our drinks just took extra time to be made. No biggie. Authentic northern Vietnamese style food. My mom ordered canh bun, I had bun dau mam tom, and my husband ordered the com bo luc lac. Everything came out quick and was beautifully plated. The flavors were very fresh and not disappointing. My mam tom was pungent as expected but not too pungent. Everyone was very happy with their food. My mom ordered a hot vietnamese coffee, husband ordered Thai tea, and my girls shared an Oreo shake. They all said it was delicious. 10/10. Highly recommend.

Nice restaurant with standard Vietnamese food. We were really impressed by the massive summer rolls, stuffed with fresh vegetables and super filling. I liked the decor of the restaurant, reminiscent of the streets of Vietnam. Staff was nice and food came out quickly. Good food, nothing super special.

That famous dish that Obama and Bourdain ate is here (bun cha Hanoi) if you were curious or know you love it and have been searching high and low around OC to find it. Food here is made fresh down to even the sauce for your goi con (fresh spring rolls). If you're a fish fan, try the cha ca Thanh long but just know the sauce is pungent. If you can get past that, it's ridiculously delicious with the noodles and fresh aromatic herbs and vegetables. Place is modern. Good parking. Service is a little slow which is why I didn't give all stars but with some effort you can flag someone down to help you. They're a small business run with a small staff so if you keep that in mind, you'll see they're doing their best and are very kind.

We were totally jonesing for some legit Northern Vietnamese eats, so we hit up this spot on a whim. Man, it's been ages since I've rolled into a Vietnamese joint--seriously, no clue what I was walking into. I walked inside and I just realized I have been here a long time ago, but things seem to be so much different. I wonder if they change management .. And yeah, since I'm always whipping stuff up in my own kitchen, I'm like a total food snob when dining out, picking apart every little thing! But props to this place: it's squeaky clean, all lit up and vibey with cool decor, and he's got tons of space to chill. Parking? Piece of cake--big ol' lot out front, no BS circling for a spot. We snagged the bún chả Hà Nội and bún riêu. Not gonna lie, it wasn't knock-your-socks-off amazing, but solid AF with some decent flavor punches. I'll def swing by again and scope out one of their drier dishes, see if it hits different. My waiter was pretty honest when I asked him about a few dishes and if he would recommend it, he told me what he didn't like and what he really like at this place so I took his advice .. I felt like he was very attentive and honest . Overall, I felt like it is a little bit better because this time then the last time I was here . The food was a little bit better and definitely better service.

They have very good cha ca Ha Noi and other great dishes . If you can eat mam and can stand the smell of fermented sauce then this is as authentic as it gets .

I love Southern California for a lot of reasons and one of them is the abundance of delicious food that will make your day so happy and bring you so much joy. Ha Noi Corner is one of those gems - another restaurant I wish I could eat at way more regularly/was in the city that I lived in. I would come back here specifically for the banh cuon and the bun dau mam tom. It was so so good. The salted egg yolk snails were fun but the snails didn't absorb as much of the salted egg yolk flavor but I still enjoyed it. Such a delicious meal.

This was the first time I have ever gone to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors that the plates had to offer. My favorite thing was the chicken wing appetizer. It was very savory and crispy and the dipping sauce was perfect for it. I believe it was priced around maybe $15 the soup here was also very good we ordered bun bo hue. most places have more flavor than this location however, I don't really have much complaints about it because it was still really good. The flavor profile was just a little bit more mute than I'm used to. I ordered a rice plate and the meat was seasoned very well. it's also very tender and not dry at all. everything here was very reasonably apprised and I would definitely come back again. The service was great. The parking is easy to navigate and the food was very yummy. The interior of the restaurant was very clean. I honestly have no complaints at all.

Walked by this restaurant and decided to try. We ordered a chicken rice dish to go...thinking it's the red rice but it's not. Chicken is good and crispy but rice is plain. The sauce that comes with it is too sweet. We also got a Thai green tea with cheese foam which is good but wish it was less sweet. Overall, this place is decent but not the best.

Called at 11:13....was told it would take 10 mins.... It's not even busy rn. 11:42 and still waiting on my TO GO order.
    Tina M.

Only thing good about this place is the food. Called to order to go and like the other reviews stated they laggg and don't respect your time. I called at 11:13 and was told it would be 10 mins. Got at the restaurant 11:30 and still waiting on my food (it's now 11:41 as I'm writing this). The lady at the counter said she's gonna wrap up my food BUT IS CURRENTLY WALKING AROUND THE RESTURANT. So annoying and disrespectful.

The waiters were funny and service was good. Cute place to grab pho and good price point, most things are under $20.

I always come here for Bun Dau Mam Tom, I would say this is the best in Santa Ana so far.

We ordered bun dau Mam Tom because it is so good, and we ended up order 2 of them. If anyone still don't know where to eat in Santa Ana, give this restaurant a try. it will not let u down. Trust

Located in the heart of Little Saigon on Bolsa Ave, facing outwards towards the street & Bolsa Mini mall, Viland is a cute & quaint coffee shop ~ serving up your traditional Viet coffees & matcha drinks, but with modern twists. There is plenty of seating & tables inside and the modern decor is inviting for the perfect coffee date, catching up w/ friends, studying, or even a quick stop to satisfy your coffee cravings (like me!). You order at the counter and/or on their touch-screen monitor (by the front entrance), then you are given a buzzer to await for your order at the pick-up counter. The staff was friendly & very efficient. They had an extensive menu featuring specialty drinks, fresh pastries, and light bites. Both my mumsy & I opt'd to try the young coconut blended coffee cuz I've been in my coconut era lately. Lol It was $6 for a 16 oz..so decently priced. It's very reminiscent to a frap with yummy young coconut blended bits found within. The coffee was strong, but once mixed well w/ the coconut, the flavors married perfectly and it was very balanced. At times, I wished for a bit more coffee hit, but it was actually just refreshing enough to end our lunch date. Both my mom & I loved our coffees (and let me tell ya, she's a hard critic to please) and would definitely come back to try the many other drink offerings. I was super bummed that the beignets sold out already (mind you, we stopped by about 1:30 pm on a Friday)..so it must have been good. :( Darn, next time! Total RxFoodie recommend!!!

The Matcha soufflé had creamy matcha sauce with matcha powder on top, along with bananas and strawberries with strawberry ice cream. It's perfect for matcha lovers! The Ube Soufflé was our favorite, and it had creamy ube sauce on top with ube jellies and strawberry ice cream! The soufflé pancakes generally take about 40min to make, so if you plan to come, make sure to allocate some time to stay and wait for the pancakes. They are worth it! There's lots of seating space in the cafe itself. Parking was also easy within the lot, even when it got busier and the nearby restaurants also filled up with people.

Since it already took us nearly an hour to get here, I decided to wait for it anyway. To my surprise, the soufflé actually arrived in less than an hour, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the Ube flavor itself was a little disappointing for my personal taste, as I felt it didn't pair as well with the soufflé texture as expected. Perhaps next time I'd try a different flavor instead of the Ube. Decor was minimalist though and place looked quite cozy.

Pate is one of my fav parts of the dish. Baguette is crisp and airy, the perfect vessel for everything. Combine everything together = chefs kiss! Com ga xoi mo: chicken is crispy and not dry. The sauce is good. I like the crispy bits in the rice. I don't care for the sweet and sour sauce they put on top of the chicken. Side salads were refreshing and balanced out both dishes. Egg coffee: strong and delicious Passion fruit soda: sweet, sour and delicious 5 stars for food - would go back! The only criticisms I'd have is that their new and improved menu is huge and so difficult to flip through and they could do better cleaning up after each guest.

However, service was a little slow. The restaurant was small and not too busy. We came on a weekend around 11 am. Ordered a few things off the menu and several drinks. My favorite was the sup nui. Reminds me of my childhood comfort food. The banh mi chao was also excellent. We also had the garlic noodles and the hoi an chicken. That dish was probably my least favorite but still very good. The chicken wings were also very very good. All the drinks were also very good. Will definitely be coming back.
