I got the vip spa package. They spent more time scrubbing and massaging my legs than scrubbing the bottom of my feet. He didn't take his time. The hot wax and hot stones were such a nice treat. First time there, not impressed. I went with my daughter who suggested we go here. I usually go somewhere else. I will say that the place is very neat and clean, but the technician I had was awful. I was told she is the 'head technician.' If that is the case, she needs to focus on doing that job and not focus so much on what is going on around her. She was on the phone at least three times while doing my mani and pedi. She was making appointments for people, but wrote nothing down. After seeing some of the comments about people making appointments and still having to wait for an hour+, I understand why. They give you the appointment, but don't write it down and then forget about it. This tech was constantly watching the door and greeting everyone that came in. I understand being friendly, but focus on what you are doing! My pedi was done really fast, hardly any leg massage like elsewhere. My toes look awful. Onto the mani - told her I wanted one polish on my fingers and another on my ring finger. She never did that. She did them all the same color - more than likely because she wasn't even paying attention when I told her what I wanted. No hand massage, just some lotion spread across the back of my hand and one swipe down my fingers. My thumb has a bubble on it that I didn't notice until I left. Funny thing is that my daughter and I were started on at the same time, but I was done at least 15 minutes before my daughter. I guess her tech gave her focussed attention and a full service. I don't plan on going back here any time soon. As a matter of fact, probably never. read more

We decided at the last minute to get mani pedis. Unfortunately a lot of places were closed because it was Sunday. The place was very clear, the staff was friendly and helpful. When we arrived there were a lot of other customers getting manicures. They seemed to be repeat clients which is good. It speaks to the quality and customer service. I would go back again if we are in the Carlisle area. read more

I have gone to H3 Nails three times in the past six years. Each time there has been an issue. My first visit there was an issue with my gift card, the next time I got an ingrown toenail from the man doing my toes...And now this time. I went Wednesday afternoon for a manicure. While I know that I don't take great care of my own cuticles so they needed some work, the man doing it cut 3 of my cuticles so badly they bled. Like the whole time I was there. They're now painful and red. To top it off, yesterday, less than 48 hours after I got them done, two of my fingers had the polish completely peel off. The rest are already chipping. I haven't been doing anything out of the ordinary with my hands and this issue has not happened with other places. I normally don't leave reviews, but this was a very poor experience. Pros: - the place is clean and has an adequate number of stations - making appointments was easy enough - they offer other services besides manis and pedis, like waxing - cheap Cons: they overbook!!! Waited 40 mins past my appointment before the nail tech got started - regular nail polish selection is old, some were dry and/or chalky - the gel I selected had separated and when I pointed it out to the nail tech she dismissed it Once the first coat went on it was clear it wouldn't work so she had to remove it which caused my nails to get an additional beating resulting in bumpy nails in one hand - nail techs are always in a rush and don't take the time to focus on the customer in front of them - you get what you pay for! No option for a true spa mani/pedi, pretty much you get some lotion on your hands and a weak massage (handshake really) from the nail tech Bottom line I'm new in town so I'll continue to search for a decent spot. Oh and tips are cash only! My husband got chastised for asking if it was OK to add the tip to the card. Seriously?! I had to jump in and call the lady out for being rude. Just started to pull in to get my nails done as a ((walk-in customer)). Found the owner and one of the associates standing in front of the place screaming at a woman trying to get into her car. They were demanding money from her. She was saying they didn't do anything for her, but she tossed $5 at them to get them to leave. They were Making a terrible scene in the ROAD. I had to stop my car. They made no attempt to move, blocking the driveway so I could not go around and the woman from leaving. They were threatening calling the police and she kept saying ( I just paid you for nothing! Leave me alone) but they would not move!! I was freaking trapped in my car listening to this fight!! My daughter and I took my mother in for a VIP spa pedicure, and we got pedicures as well. The staff were exceptional, and spent their time pampering my mother with a paraffin treatment , leg and foot massages as well as a neck massage to finish her visit. All of the younger girls in this shop do a great job but watch out for the older lady! Every time I go there I end up with her and her, rushed and sloppy work. Also, every time she judges me for my toenails being short and my color choice and complains that it's too light. The most recent time I changed my mind to black after her telling me my first choice was too light and she laughed at me. I've gone to H3 for about a year now and today was most definitely the best experience I've ever had! I got a gel manicure which cost $28. The woman I had, wish I knew her name, was SO polite and did the best work I've ever had done on my nails. She took her time buffing & shaping my nails which I really appreciate. When she saw that the color was a little thin after the first few coats she did a few more. I most definitely enjoyed my experience at H3 and I'm glad I decided to go back. I recommend going during a "non-busy" time because I feel like I had a better experience since they weren't rush! I had a very bad time at this location. I went in with a friend to get our nails done and they said they could get us in, especially once we expressed we were in a rush and could go somewhere else. We waited about 30min and was asked if we could wait another hour. That was fine, because they promised us service. My friend (not saying race plays a role in this situation, but we are two different races) was asked to go first and they completed her nails, while I waited for about another hour. Ive been searching for months for a place to get my nails done consistently. I think I finally found a place! I went in on the third day they were open and everything was great. The people were very nice, the facility was brand-new and obviously very clean, they had a great selection of colors and services. I have long natural nails so I decided to have them apply SS powder, which I've never had done before. Heidi performed my services and she was great! It's hard to explain how they did. But on our pedicure, they didn't do that great. They didn't put the nail polish back far enough at all. They did pretty good on my nails, but they got nail glue on my finger. Oh and, the guy was very rough on my feet. But the good thing was they aren't rude, they are pretty nice. read more

This place appears to have all new staff - at least one of which is new, inexperienced and uncertain of his own work. Have been here many times with good experience; however my tech today will ensure that I don't return. He barely knew how to hold the cuticle cutting tool and def didn't know how to use it. Paid for a manicure and instead just got my nails filed and painted and feet washed with soap. Not any callous remover or lotion. I walked in around 1pm. Didn't have to wait, very well put together salon, and a really nice selection of gel polish. The staff was very nice and very attentive. The young man who did my fill had a great eye for detail, and made sure they were just perfect! They also had classical music playing, which I found very relaxing. I'll definitely be back! I was hoping this would be our new nail place since we just moved to Carlisle. Well, I was definitely disappointed!!! My manicure looks horrible! The girl who did my nails had an attitude because I wanted gel polish removed and just a regular manicure in its place, to give my nails a break. I asked her to make sure to remove all of the red polish before painting my nails with a light coral/pink color. She did not! She said oh it'll be fine with 2 coats of polish. Went there twice and got the dip powder. After a couple days the dip started to crack and chip off. It was a waste of money to get my nails only for them to chip off. My sister loved her pedicure but my gel polish manicure was very rushed and as a result they are all bubbly and the gel is all over my skin. The girl didn't really seem to care and looked miserable.
