I have been getting gel manicures for many years and never were they that thick. So thick that I had difficulty getting my contacts out that night. My husband said it looked like I had a bug painted on my nails. I did pay and did tip because that's who I am. The owner asked if everything was fine and I said yes - first because I didn't have the time to get them fixed as I needed to go to work and second because I was frustrated and wanted to leave. The next day I went to a different place to have the gel taken off and reapplied. They kept asking "what type of gel is this" because it was so thick.
