I walked in mid day on a Saturday, not exactly hopeful that I would get an appointment, but thankfully I was welcomed right in. It is a smaller space that was warm and like I said welcoming. I received a basic pedicure. I am not sure if they have differing types with more additives. I really liked that I was not upsold in any form. This salon is under new ownership as of spring/summer 2025. This was previously the only place I trusted to do my nails. After one experience with the new ownership, I will not be back. In addition to the poor customer service, increased prices, and the poor quality of our pedicures, their young daughter wandered all over the shop and was distracting and interrupting them. They were so rough on a problem toenail I have, that I had to ask them to stop touching it and later went to the podiatrist because it was inflamed and painful. Their grasp of English was minimal so it was hard to communicate when questions or concerns arose. I'm sorry that the previous owners business is being carried on this way. Was able to get an appointment fairly quickly for a dip mani. LOTS of colors to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'm overall pleased with the quality of my mani and will definitely come back here soon. Tips: They take cash, check or Venmo. Also, still requiring customers to wear masks. Signage on door with hand sanitizer. This was my first time here, it seems like they have a lot of regulars who come in and book quickly. read more

honestly I've never had a nail horror story to tell, but this place gave me one. i rarely get my nails done so devastated is an understatment when I how upset I was at the job done here on my nails and toes. I got a simple acrylic French tip. I asked for almond shape and got a shape resembling a traffic come instead, very thick and uneven. Each nail was different from the other. super rushed and not manicured at all. No clean up or prep done on the nails. including the rushed hack job done on my toes, the lady walked away to take care of another customer without even finishing my toes, her husband rushed my friends toes to finish mine. simple white gel and somehow managed to shape one to round and one toe square. and yet again no prep or clean up done to toes either. customer service wasn't stellar either, very awkward vibe. horrible just horrible. leaving this review only to simply stop someone else from going here to get your nail services done. read more

I don't have a lot of experience to make a comparison to other salons, as I have only gotten a mani/pedi twice and they were both at M & T Nails. But both times, I had made an appointment, was eagerly greeted upon my arrival, and immediately taken back to begin the process. The staff and owners are amazing. They made me feel at ease and seemed genuinely geared to my comfort and satisfaction. The process was professional and the price was more than reasonable for all the work they did. Don't recommend this shop. I went in last week she told me I needed to make a appointment. I made a appointment for today. And Rose pushes me to someone else. As she's working on 3 people. I was waiting so long that my water was cold. Didn't bother to ask me if I was ok. Just kept jumping from one person to the next. And then when I asked her if she wanted me to come back. She says I'm gonna have him do your nails. Like I was a bother. Very unprofessional and rude. Look at me as if I was chop liver. Not know I tip very well and I'm a loyal customer when I find a place. I've been searching for a new nail salon since moving to a new home last summer. I gave my nails a break for a while and then went looking. Tried out a place in Mechanicsburg but wasn't fully happy there so I searched again and found M&T. I was comfortable the minute I walked in the door (for a same-day appointment). I had a mani-pedi and was delighted with how I was treated. The place is nicely decorated, well laid out, and happy and talkative employees who were easy to chat with. They have a HUGE selection of OPI polishes and all sorts of specialty polishes as well (like my favorites, the mood/temperature-changing color variety that is more apparent in colder months). I had a free-hand design done on my ring fingers on top of a gorgeous fuchsia polish on both toes and nails and I've already set up subsequent appointments. The man who did my nails wouldn't do a deluxe pedicure because he had scheduled a walk in too closely to my time even after I said I wanted dip nails and gel pedicure which takes more time. He said oh it's 46 dollars you still want to do it...oh yes, we'll at the end he did a regular pedi and gel polish and did a hasty shitty job. Don't waste your time with this place. read more

I walked in the door and wasn't greeted nicely. The manager immediately said what do you want and I had accidentally scheduled a mani pedi for the wrong day. She said "that's not my fault that's your fault" in a very rude tone. I am disappointed with the friendliness of staff and the blaming that happened as soon as I walked in the door. This is my go-to spot to have my nails done. The owners are very kind and accommodating and run a clean shop. They also do fantastic work for a really reasonable price. I like the fact that they don't charge the usual $3 for a cut down as well. It's best to make an appointment, but they usually can squeeze you in if need be. read more

This is BY FAR the best nail salon I have EVER been to. They are SUPER CLEAN and SANITARY... the owners are fabulous and the most efficient and down to earth people I have ever met! They are quick and good at all they do! I used to be a valued patron of this salon and have visited approximately 5 times in the two years I've lived in the area. Prior to this I lived in Philly and DC and regularly get gel pedicures because I am a man and have to wear closed toed shoes in my profession. Regular pedicures just chip when you like to get color. My last visit I was charged $46 for my service, the MOST I have ever been charged for this service. Within 3-4 weeks my big toes look awful because my cuticle was not pushed back well enough to get the polish over my entire nail (mind you I am a cosmetologist). When I called and brought attention to my situation I was told by the owners to take my business elsewhere. I was traveling from out of town and found this salon on Google. I couldn't be happier that I chose to call for an appointment. They were very accommodating, even though I called with short notice. The salon was clean, with pleasant music and friendly staff. The woman who did my nails (presumably the owner) was very knowledgeable and thorough. I had an acrylic fill with gel polish and she knew that the light color I had selected would require a darker first coat to give the desired depth of cover. Her attention to detail in filing gave a nicer finished result than I've ever seen. I was also impressed that as customers walked in the door, she called them by name and obviously had a good relationship with her clientele evidenced by their kind responses and queries about her family. Love this place! It's conveniently located right next to the Capital City Mall but the prices are much more reasonable than the place in the mall. Plus, they do all the latest nail techniques including dips and gels. I've been back multiple times and the mani/pedi was one of the best I've ever had for the cost. Only negative that prevented 5 stars: be prepared - they don't allow tips to be put on a credit card. I don't usually carry much cash on me so this was a little embarrassing at checkout. The closest ATM is in the Walmart down the street. There should be a sign on the door and not at the cash register since you don't usually stand at the register until it's time to pay. I understand about credit card fees but I feel like they employees suffer by little or no tips this way. There's nothing more embarrassing than to take up over an hour of a person's time and then only have $3 in cash in my wallet. read more
