Great place, not a lot of chairs though- it got slammed when I walked in with a party of 4. I took my 2 daughters and son here today for a mani pedi and I got myself a full set and French pedi. I'm very happy with all my nails. I mostly wanted to take my son in to get them clipped, cleaned and cuticles cut. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I was VERY happy with the quality of cleanliness there (having gone through sanitation training myself) Drummel tools looked fresh and clean before they were used on me. My son almost fell asleep while getting his hands massaged he loved the foot bath and foot massage. He looked so much better. I was very happy with how everyone's nails came out- my older daughters toes were smudged a bit before we left (but I know she fidgets a lot). My son's toes looked cleaner but not completely clean- they probably didn't want to hurt him which I appreciate. Mine and my other daughters pedicures came out fantastic. I would love to go regularly myself and take my kids every couple weeks. I was happy to pay the price for the four of us.(which was less than I expected) I kept asking "did you add that too?" Because I thought it seemed low. I'm adding a picture of all our nails together (but it was after soccer practice tonight- so my son's aren't pristine anymore) As we were leaving my son said "can we go there again?" Don't go here. Asked for an acrylic set with a french manicure and she just put white acrylic tips halfway up my nail, put a top coat on and called it a day. My "french tips" cover over half of my nail. Not only that but almost every nail is crooked and just poorly shaped. Wasn't even able to wash my hands before the top coat was applied so there is white dust particles all through my nails. The worst acrylic set I have ever had. read more

I tried this nail salon to get a new gel dip manicure. I was glad they were able to accommodate a last-minute appointment. The salon is small, but seems pretty clean. My nail tech was friendly enough, but she and another tech answered their personal phones while actively working on clients. The other tech answered her cell 3 times while her client was at her station. Normally I wouldn't mind such things, but I'm trying to find a salon I truly enjoy to be my new place. As far as my manicure, it wasn't terrible, but there are small areas of my natural nail showing that powder did not adhere to on two fingers. She seemed to hurry through the shaping of my nails as some are less oval than others or not centered. The dip itself lasted a long time with no chips or cracks. Overall, it was a decent manicure. I went to get a mani-pedi here after our area had been opened to green status. I was very thankful that they were able to get me an appointment so quickly, but overall was less than impressed with both their attention to safety as well as the quality of services. My nail technician was very kind, however she didn't do the best job. The color/mood changing polish on the samples was super old and didn't reflect the actual colors, so I decided that I would just do a different gel polish. My pedicure wasn't bad, although expensive since I had added a package (after all, it had been a while since I had a pedicure). My manicure wasn't really up to standards though. Not only did she not cut off a significant amount of cuticle, but fibers and other debris kept getting into my polish. The result? I've got some very small blue fibers (admittedly hard to see unless you take a close look) and the polish on my right index finger ended up bubbling up oddly and chipping within 30 minutes of leaving the salon. I didn't have the time to go back that day to get it fixed since the appointment took 3.5 hours. As far as health and safety standards go, I had to explain to them that their thermometer was not working- that no one (much less 90% of the customers logged) should have temperatures of around 85.5 degrees F. I took the time to educate them upon proper temperatures and what they should be asking people as they arrive for appointments. I also had to inform another customer that unless masks were above your nose, they do not work effectively. It's obvious to me that they are trying their best to keep things clean and safe, and I do believe that now that they are more effectively informed about appropriate temperatures etc. that they will be instituting them...but when I went it made me a little uncomfortable that they thought 85.5 degrees Fahrenheit was an appropriate temperature for someone. Overall, I'd probably give them a 2.5/3 star rating. The fact that they seem very kind and seem to be trying their best made me feel better about everything. read more

Called to see if they could take 3 people for mani pedi's. Without hesitation, she answered yes. She was flexible in my schedule as I am traveling from NYC to Michigan and we were all in need of grooming. We are at the Hotel Hershey, who could not accommodate us for 2 days-- so if this happens to you- visit Lush Nails as they have a lot of polish selections and it's a very clean and tidy place. She was very detailed and gave me a great mani pedi while the older gentleman gave my daughters great ones. Highly professions and perfectionist, which is what I look for. During my pedicure the younger guy scrubbed my legs with a brush rather roughly as well as my 13 yr olds, so be sure to say no thanks to that as well as buffing the tops of the nail beds- which thins the nail and then they break for months. The two above were great, very personable and gave us all great looking nails. I'm very selective, and she could sense that and really went the extra mile. I walked in on a Saturday hoping for a pedicure and was taken care of immediately. Years of running and other activities have left me with difficult toenails, and Kay (spelling?) was so attentive and explained everything she was doing as she went. I pointed out a large scar on my foot from surgery a few years ago and she was so gentle and careful around that area. My toes look amazing and my feet feel great. Sounds like I picked the most expensive pedicure on the service menu, right? Nope. I had the basic no frills one and was still treated like a VIP. I was thrilled when she started Lush nails because I knew the meticulous work I always received would be carried over to everyone else that worked at the salon. Of course that is the case! I had high hopes for this place based on the other reviews and was highly disappointed. It can all be summed up in them failing to listen to their clients. The pedicure with Kay was great and felt amazing. I picked out a light pink and told them I wanted a matching gel for my fingers (for a beach wedding I'm in). The pedicure went smoothly other than a bubble in my one but I feel like the always happens. The manicurist (not Kay) was so rough and didn't put cuticle oil/lotion on before trimming the cuticles so it hurt. I told her multiple times the color didn't look right (it was almost white) and she assured me over and over it was a perfect match. I also noticed little black fuzz in one nail and she kept saying she didn't see it, another manicurist over heard/looked at it and told her how to fix it. At one point the manicurists finger started bleeding and she got it on my hand and wiped it away with another finger. She put glue on to stop the bleeding and didn't sanitize or wait for the glue to dry before continuing (not comfortable) At the end they finally realized the colors were no where near matching and they couldn't redo the gel so I had to switch my toes which was the color I originally wanted. When they redid my toes they left a thumbprint in one but at this point I just wanted to go home and didn't have them bother redoing it AGAIN. My fingers are super bumpy and have bubbles as well as rough edges (some nails are round others are square.) I paid $70 for the worst mani/pedi I have ever had. read more

Very small place, not very updated. I'm from out of town and had some time to kill so I decided to stop in and get an acrylic fill with gel polish. Big mistake, I should've waited until I went home and went to my regular salon. I'm not sure of the tech's name who did my nails, but she was younger. She used the cuticle clippers to pick away parts of the top layer of acrylic and in the process left them all uneven before filling them. I got gel polish, and less than a week later all of my nails are chipping, mostly in the spots where she had left it uneven before she filled it. I thought this would be a good place to go since there were hardly any negative reviews, but I was wrong. read more

Owner is very nice but the girl that was supposed to do my nails was late (She said she came from the hospital, and I never saw her wash her hands when she came in). I have nail polish all over my fingers around the nails. Some bumps in the color, especially at the tips. Looks awful, like a child did it. Paid $20 for it, which is what I pay in CA. They should at leave give a discount for anyone getting nails done by this new person until she gets more training. I would've gone somewhere else but I was in a rush to get them done before a party, and they seem to have a higher overall rating on here, but when you look closely at some of the reviews, it's not so great. Went to lush today for the first time to pamper myself to a full set and pedi. I asked if they could do marble nails and they said yes! I have never had marble done before! I had a gentleman do my toes. Another woman shape my nails and then a woman, who I believe to be the owner, do the marbling. She was amazing and I absolutely LOVE my nails! If I could give Lush nails Zero stars I would! Worst nail salon I have ever been to. Staff was rude and scolded me about getting dip powder nails only to run up my bill! They went on and on for 45 minutes yelling at me. Then moved me from person to person. They cut me several times while filing my nails and painted all over my hands. This place is a hole in the wall.
