Amy always does a great job! She is accommodating for appt times and has a very clean salon. She doesn't soak off the previous manicure which I appreciate, she lightly dremels it off. Much healthier for nails. She's been my only manicure person for years. read more

Finger Paint Nail Salon - Nail Salons Near Me - Hershey, Pennsylvania

Finger Paint is a nice salon. I walked in and only had to wait a few minutes. The nail technician was very kind and did a great job. I just needed a pedicure, mostly, and a quick clean-up of my hands without polish (I'm a pianist and writer--there's really no point in polish). It wasn't exactly a spa pedicure, but it was good enough to get my feet sandals-ready. The one downside: the massage chair was. not. great. I would go back: The salon is clean and the staff is pleasant and warm. They don't talk about customers the way they do at Hershey Nails, and it doesn't feel catty--a huge plus. read more

Worst manicure ever! Made an apt waited about 20 minutes after my apt time got a gel manicure with a speciality polish - no acrylic and ended up being charged 55$ the polish is uneven and there are missed spots on the sides, they didn't trim or push back my cuticals so the polish is sitting ontop of them and is glued to my nail in spots they left the front edge of the nail unfinished and I have air bubbles - I don't even want Togo back to have them fixed! Never again!!! read more

Great 1st experience. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Nice polish selection. Easy access off chocolate ave and parking. Will be back.

I've been back a few times since my initial review (2015) and the experience and quality have declined each time. This weekend, I received a spa pedicure & gel manicure. While the pedicure turned out nice, the gel manicure was awful. Here I am on day 2 and the tips of my nails are starting to peel! I've never had a gel manicure (from other salons) peel from the nail tip at any point, let alone on day 2. The nail tech left polish on my cuticles, my finger, and the polish was applied uneven and streaky. The salon really wasn't that busy, but he made it clear he was in a rush. I would not recommend; there are other nail places in the area that do a much better quality job for the same price. On top of this, they no longer accept credit cards (cash, check, or debit only), which I was not told when I called ahead and asked about availability. read more

Service is professional and priced quite reasonably. My pink and white solar nails only take about an hour, which is quick. The only reason they are missing the fifth star is because the first time they inadvertently cut my cuticle, which bled and was painful, and the second time they made my nails too thick. Still, I would recommend them to anyone needing good nail work done in Hershey. read more

I came in with outgrown acrylics that were chipped, torn, and just a mess. I called the morning of and they fit me in right when I called. The man who did my nails was very nice and did an amazing job! The staff was very friendly and efficient. It was really clean too. For the acrylic and gel remover and gel manicure it was $40! Would definitely recommend read more

Great place for a gel manicure in Hershey! I've gone a few times and have been pleased with their color selection and how long the manicure lasts without any chipping or peeling. I also appreciate their ability to fit walk-ins in between clients with appointments but I never felt like I waited more than a few minutes (when I made an appointment or walked in). The staff are very pleasant and friendly as well. Editing to add that I had two chips develop about a week out- they repaired them that day free of charge! Great customer service. My gel manicures from here rarely chip (even 2-3 weeks out) and this is the first time I've had this happen. read more

I have been going to Amy for months and I have continued to get great service and my nails look great. Andy is great as well and very friendly/professional. My mother and sister also go here and our nails have never looked better! Amy has a clean salon and will bend over backwards for her customers (example opening shop early or staying late). Fingerpaints is the best nail place in Hershey by a landslide! read more

Finger Paint Nail Salon - Gel manicure with a killer design from Amy. - Nail Salons Near Me - Hershey, Pennsylvania

I have had both pedicure and manicure at this salon in the past, however, the last pedicure I had last week was the worst. It was a Monday and I was the only person there plus two technicians. The other nail technicians who in the past done my nails were not there. None of my nails were cut or shaped the same. Two toes on my left foot were bleeding when I left. When filing my nails, he filed the skin instead of the nail. Also, when I was there, a couple of girls walked in asking about manicures. A nail technician started arguing with the girls and voices got loud. The nail technician working on my nails walked away and started defending the other nail technician and the voices got louder and louder. The customers finally left. Worst pedicure, not relaxing environment and very unprofessional. read more

Great nail salon! Andy is so nice and really puts the time in to make my nails look fabulous. He goes above and beyond as far as what design I request. He also takes the time for my nails to be of high quality and last for weeks. The best gel nails I have gotten in the Hershey/Harrisburg area for sure!! I've walked in and been seen right away with no appointment, and I've also called ahead and to get an appointment right at the time when I wanted one. Very friendly staff and overall wonderful salon. read more

Went here today with two girlfriends for a relaxing day and pedicures. The two gentlemen that did our pedis were very nice, did a great job and had a great sense of humor. They allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our day off! We've been other places that we were just rushed through and couldn't enjoy it. It was nice to truly enjoy the massage chairs and girlfriend time. Will definitely be returning here!! read more

I called and was able to have my nails done shortly after I called. Lots of gel colors to choose from and Amy the owner was very friendly, professional and had some suggestions for a sparkly top coat based on the color I picked. I enjoyed my time as it was relaxing. I would highly recommend. read more

Friendly staff. Terrible quality of service. Got a pedicure, 5 days later it is all chipping off. I asked for my toenails to be cut as short as possible, she would not do that, she said they were already short. $32 for a pedicure that was below average is a ripoff. No leg massage, no foot massage either! Basically just a glorified polish change Very disappointing read more

Staff was friendly and I got there early enough that the fumes weren't too much yet. Kind of pricey and the massage chairs weren't super comfy (big thumbs down in my book). Can't say I'll strive to go back but it was fine in a pinch. read more

My friend from out of town and I made pedicure appointments here today. Should've turned around and walked out when we arrived on time to our appointments, and were told we would have to wait 20 minutes because they accidentally thought two girls who walked in before us were the people who called. They apparently never checked their names. 30 minutes later, they did my pedicure while my friend sat waiting over an hour for hers. On top of that, the paint job was terrible! Mine is clumpy and uneven and my friends is all over her skin. They rushed our pedicures and it is not a spa pedicure at all. Which would be fine if they did not charge us $27 each!!! They were extremely unprofessional as far as behavior as well. They served beer to another customer there while we weren't even offered water. If you're looking for a nail salon in Hershey, go anywhere else. read more

This salon was very clean and the ventilation was the best I've ever experienced in a nail salon. The owner, Amy, provided great service and I was pleased with my experience. I would highly recommend this salon. read more

Came down for the weekend for the color run & needed our nails done. When we called, if was 30mins to closing but they told us to come in anyways (4 people). Wonderful pedicures and nails. Didn't rush us and took their time. Stayed open an hour and a half late to accommodate us and gave us great dinner recommendations. Wonderful customer service and would recommend. Will be back if ever in area! read more

I liked getting my nails done and they were open on the holidays and it didn't hurt at all great staff

The atmosphere is very nice. It does not smell strongly of nail polish and the decor is really pretty. However, I treated my mother to a manicure with me for my wedding, and a few hours after we got them, her nails started chipping. By the time of my wedding, she already had three nails chipped. It was a disappointment for the cost. We were there for plenty of time to dry. read more

I really wanted to like this salon, especially since they use LED lights instead of UV for gel manicures. However, I found that my experience was worse with each subsequent visit. The technicians tend to cut corners on your service if the salon starts to get busy; even when I made an appointment I did not feel I was given priority over walk-ins/other regular clients. The techs also use an electric file on natural nails to remove gel polish, which has significantly damaged my nails. read more

I am from New Jersey went to pa to Rv show my nails needed to be done called them he told me to come right in it would be 30.00 go there The worst job I ever had done I could have done better myself and then they charge me $35 and he starts yelling about gels it was the worst experience ever and I would never recommend them to anyone at least in New Jersey you're treated with respect read more

I called the day before to make an appointment for my mother and I. We were told there's a Saturday special, $30 mani pedi. When we went to pay, they charged us $38 each and said it was a "misunderstanding." I confirmed loud and clear $60 total the day before. Not impressed. Would not recommend. read more

Took my daughter and her friend to Hershey for a weekend getaway and searched Yelp for a salon. Finger painting came up and it is very close to the Hershey Lodge, so we booked appointments for gel polish. My technician has a very different method of manicure - filing and cuticles after the polish is on - but my nails look great. The girls have lovely manicures, too. We were really pleased, and needless to say the price was tons better than the hotel spa would have charged us. We Highly recommend! read more

Not a fan.... looks nice on the outside but the inside is very cheap looking. Polish color selection wasn't great. They were pretty much empty on the Saturday before the 4th of July. The technician doing my nails was very nice, so that was a plus. I was at first impressed with the massage chairs because they looked pretty nice, but oh my goodness, the one I used was one of the most uncomfortable I've experienced. Pedicure and manicure were efficient and turned out well, can't really complain. But, nothing about the experience was stellar and the atmosphere was definitely not for me. The people there were very awkward and the place just needs a lot of updating. Also didn't seem like they go the extra mile in terms of cleanliness. I won't be back and wouldn't personally recommend it to anyone. But, disclaimer, I'm not from the area so I don't really know how it stacks up in comparison to other nail salons nearby. read more

Very pleased with the clean salon, friendly service and big massaging comfy chairs. It gets busy on the weekends, so give them a call to make sure you get your service in. I enjoy a good quality mani and pedi - and would definitely recommend this place in this area and plan on returning! read more

Would not recommend this place. We called 2 months in advance to book 6 mani/pedis for a bachelorette party. We were told they could accommodate us and have us done in 2 hours. They only ha 3 people working and were only able to complete 5 out of 6 pedis and no manicures in the time period. The owner was rude and said she was cold while we were sweltering and insisted on closing the windows and not adjusting the temperature. Poor customer service and a rude owner. read more
