Finger Paint is a nice salon. I walked in and only had to wait a few minutes. The nail technician was very kind and did a great job. I just needed a pedicure, mostly, and a quick clean-up of my hands without polish (I'm a pianist and writer--there's really no point in polish). It wasn't exactly a spa pedicure, but it was good enough to get my feet sandals-ready. The one downside: the massage chair was. not. great. I would go back: The salon is clean and the staff is pleasant and warm. They don't talk about customers the way they do at Hershey Nails, and it doesn't feel catty--a huge plus. read more

Worst manicure ever! Made an apt waited about 20 minutes after my apt time got a gel manicure with a speciality polish - no acrylic and ended up being charged 55$ the polish is uneven and there are missed spots on the sides, they didn't trim or push back my cuticals so the polish is sitting ontop of them and is glued to my nail in spots they left the front edge of the nail unfinished and I have air bubbles - I don't even want Togo back to have them fixed! I've been back a few times since my initial review (2015) and the experience and quality have declined each time. This weekend, I received a spa pedicure & gel manicure. While the pedicure turned out nice, the gel manicure was awful. Here I am on day 2 and the tips of my nails are starting to peel! I've never had a gel manicure (from other salons) peel from the nail tip at any point, let alone on day 2. The nail tech left polish on my cuticles, my finger, and the polish was applied uneven and streaky. The salon really wasn't that busy, but he made it clear he was in a rush. I would not recommend; there are other nail places in the area that do a much better quality job for the same price. On top of this, they no longer accept credit cards (cash, check, or debit only), which I was not told when I called ahead and asked about availability. read more

Service is professional and priced quite reasonably. My pink and white solar nails only take about an hour, which is quick. The only reason they are missing the fifth star is because the first time they inadvertently cut my cuticle, which bled and was painful, and the second time they made my nails too thick. Still, I would recommend them to anyone needing good nail work done in Hershey. read more

I came in with outgrown acrylics that were chipped, torn, and just a mess. I called the morning of and they fit me in right when I called. Great place for a gel manicure in Hershey! I've gone a few times and have been pleased with their color selection and how long the manicure lasts without any chipping or peeling. I also appreciate their ability to fit walk-ins in between clients with appointments but I never felt like I waited more than a few minutes (when I made an appointment or walked in). The staff are very pleasant and friendly as well. Editing to add that I had two chips develop about a week out- they repaired them that day free of charge! Great customer service. My gel manicures from here rarely chip (even 2-3 weeks out) and this is the first time I've had this happen. read more

I have had both pedicure and manicure at this salon in the past, however, the last pedicure I had last week was the worst. It was a Monday and I was the only person there plus two technicians. The other nail technicians who in the past done my nails were not there. None of my nails were cut or shaped the same. Two toes on my left foot were bleeding when I left. When filing my nails, he filed the skin instead of the nail. Also, when I was there, a couple of girls walked in asking about manicures. A nail technician started arguing with the girls and voices got loud. The nail technician working on my nails walked away and started defending the other nail technician and the voices got louder and louder. The customers finally left. Great nail salon! Andy is so nice and really puts the time in to make my nails look fabulous. He goes above and beyond as far as what design I request. He also takes the time for my nails to be of high quality and last for weeks. The best gel nails I have gotten in the Hershey/Harrisburg area for sure!! My friend from out of town and I made pedicure appointments here today. Should've turned around and walked out when we arrived on time to our appointments, and were told we would have to wait 20 minutes because they accidentally thought two girls who walked in before us were the people who called. They apparently never checked their names. 30 minutes later, they did my pedicure while my friend sat waiting over an hour for hers. On top of that, the paint job was terrible! Mine is clumpy and uneven and my friends is all over her skin. They rushed our pedicures and it is not a spa pedicure at all. Which would be fine if they did not charge us $27 each!!! They were extremely unprofessional as far as behavior as well. They served beer to another customer there while we weren't even offered water. If you're looking for a nail salon in Hershey, go anywhere else. read more

Didn't rush us and took their time. Stayed open an hour and a half late to accommodate us and gave us great dinner recommendations. Wonderful customer service and would recommend. The atmosphere is very nice. It does not smell strongly of nail polish and the decor is really pretty. However, I treated my mother to a manicure with me for my wedding, and a few hours after we got them, her nails started chipping. By the time of my wedding, she already had three nails chipped. I really wanted to like this salon, especially since they use LED lights instead of UV for gel manicures. However, I found that my experience was worse with each subsequent visit. The technicians tend to cut corners on your service if the salon starts to get busy; even when I made an appointment I did not feel I was given priority over walk-ins/other regular clients. The techs also use an electric file on natural nails to remove gel polish, which has significantly damaged my nails. read more

Took my daughter and her friend to Hershey for a weekend getaway and searched Yelp for a salon. Finger painting came up and it is very close to the Hershey Lodge, so we booked appointments for gel polish. My technician has a very different method of manicure - filing and cuticles after the polish is on - but my nails look great. The girls have lovely manicures, too. We were really pleased, and needless to say the price was tons better than the hotel spa would have charged us. We Highly recommend! read more

Not a fan.... looks nice on the outside but the inside is very cheap looking. Polish color selection wasn't great. They were pretty much empty on the Saturday before the 4th of July. The technician doing my nails was very nice, so that was a plus. I was at first impressed with the massage chairs because they looked pretty nice, but oh my goodness, the one I used was one of the most uncomfortable I've experienced. Pedicure and manicure were efficient and turned out well, can't really complain. But, nothing about the experience was stellar and the atmosphere was definitely not for me. The people there were very awkward and the place just needs a lot of updating. Also didn't seem like they go the extra mile in terms of cleanliness. Would not recommend this place. We called 2 months in advance to book 6 mani/pedis for a bachelorette party. We were told they could accommodate us and have us done in 2 hours. They only ha 3 people working and were only able to complete 5 out of 6 pedis and no manicures in the time period. The owner was rude and said she was cold while we were sweltering and insisted on closing the windows and not adjusting the temperature. Poor customer service and a rude owner. read more
