Very disappointed with Happy Nails. I made an appointment online and was told I would be contacted, but no one ever contacted me. I had to call myself, only to be told by the man who answered the phone, who I believe is the owner, that there were NO appointments available for the current week or even the following week. His attitude was extremely rude, and communicating with him was very difficult. If you're running a business, 1-you should be able to communicate clearly w customers and 2- customers should not have to chase you down just to get an appointment, and they certainly shouldn't be treated rudely when they call with questions. The only reason I'm giving this place one is because the woman at Station 5 is AMAZING. She is extremely nice, friendly, and wonderful to talk to. I would absolutely go back to her, but unfortunately, getting an appointment seems nearly impossible because the owner apparently will not give out appointments. read more

I like this place I left to go to LAN because it was so hard to get in 2 years ago Too crowded But Lan doesn't offer bikini waxing anymore nor is my favorite pedicure Tina.. so i came back here Not hard getting in but you will either get in immediately or wait a couple min read more

I was in town for spring break & got my nails filled. There was very little wait. The shop was clean & smelled great. The best part was they massaged my hands & had a hot towel at the end. They did a great job. If I find myself back in town I'd definitely use them again. read more

Do not go here! The nail tech pushed my cuticles back so far that my toes got infected. I had to get on oral antibiotics and put prescription antibiotic cream on my nails until they healed. My doctor told they could have given me a staff infection if I had not sought treatment. Also, when I went to pay, they said they only take cash on weekends. What is that? I too would give a lower rating if I could. :( read more

Used online booking service. Made an appointment over 1 week in advance, got message I would be contacted concerning appointment. Day before appointment decided to stop in after not hearing from business & when I got there man was very brash & rude told me they were booked for next day have no appointments. I asked if he could check & see if my appointment I attempted to make online was in his book & he just said "no sorry" & walked away. read more

I wanted a pedicure last minute on labor day weekend, and the folks at happy nail took me in and did a great job!! definitely got what i paid for. also the artist took her time painting my toes, they look & feel so good :) will be back read more

Although the work looks good (average), no matter when you make your appointment you will be waiting. This is the second time I've made an appointment and gone in with my 2 children and I've waited over 30 minutes. My first time I waited over an hour. I know it's not ideal to bring kids into the salon, but mine are behaved. They shouldn't have to wait 2 hours patiently when I made an appt. Nobody even spoke to me about the wait, when they'd be ready, and NOBODY stopped me from walking out. I called back in to tell him to just remove my name from the schedule and the man laughed at me. Customer service is everything to me... DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Clean, great location. Quality variable. Appointment times mean nothing--unless they randomly decide they do. I've been coming here regularly for over a year but I'm going to have to keep looking. read more

It's very clean and the massage chair is one of the best ones I've ever been in...but the service was just eh. I had to ask for them to scrub my feet. The "massage" was only on my calves, and was just rubbing with lotion, not massaging. No pressure involved. They told me it was State law to not scrape or even work on my ingrown toenails. I can still see dead skin on my feet afterwards. Nail polish is pretty and very cleanly applied. I'm on vacation, so I didn't know any better, but I would not recommend this place. read more

I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the location & the inside of it is nicely set up. Other then that it was the worst salon I've been to. My nail tech (I assume the manager) kept leaving me during the manicure to answer phone calls, was more focused on the other customers coming in & kept hurting my thumb. My mother had a woman who was sloppy & so quick, never took the time to clean up the mess she made around my mothers nails. No plans to return. read more

Very happy with my experience! I scheduled 4 pedicures, and although two members of our party had to wait for their pedicures because of staffing, they were still able to enjoy the massage chairs and chat with the two of us getting pedicures. Overall, they honored our appt time and place in line. The employees were very friendly, too. I would definitely return! read more

they dont know what their doing!! I went to a lot of spa's and no where I've heard they don't scrub your fore skin when you get a pedicure. I got POOR POOR SERVICE HERE‼would never recommen, and their prices are high and work quali is low asf read more

I have come here several times but won't be back. So over booked that I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time for my nails to even be started. An appointment that should have been 30-45 minutes took an hour and a half. My nail tech kept answering the phone and was more concerned with the rest of the appointments for the day than doing my nails. On top of that, they now accept cash only and have put an atm in the salon, which costs a fee, so they are making extra money by forcing you to pay cash. read more

Went in for a pedicure. Salon is clean and the massage chair is one of the better ones I've experienced. The tech that did my nails was nice but the service was pretty poor quality. In applying products from the packages, she focused on my ankles and calves more than my feet. In fact, My feet don't really seem to be softer or exfoliated at all. She only did one coat of polish and I realized after my nails were dry that you could see through the color. Then they didn't want to take my credit card because on the weekends they are "cash only." I told him I didn't have cash and he pointed at their sketchy, in-store atm and told me to use that. I said no and insisted he accept my credit card to pay for my service. He finally did. I definitely won't return...the search continues for a decent nail salon in Hershey. read more

This place was one of the worst nail salons I've been to. I made and appointment for 12:30 and there were not a lot of people when I went and I still waited 20 minutes before they started. My nail tech barely scrubbed my feet. Like the other reviews only focused on rubbing my calves and not my feet. My feet are no different then when they were when I walked in. The service was so poor and I will not be back. read more

I'd give a lower rating if I could! They r sooo bad. My teen granddaughter scheduled a 10 am appt. They were 20 min late because they overbooked. They stopped working on her nails in the middle, left her sitting with her nails half done and started on someone else. She had to tell them that to finish her nails where she would have sat there until they finished someone who came in behind her. After continuously stopping and starting to work on her nails, 2 hrs later She was finally done!!! I get that it's covid and I get that their short staffed. But don't purposely overbook because you're greedy.. That's ridiculous read more

Was a walk-in and they were so nice and accommodating. Was able to do an amazing nail design. They were busy and I had three different people working on my nails, which made it difficult when tipping read more

Had an appt for 2pm and they didn't get to me til 2:30. Total waste of my time and will not return or recommend. Horrible service and no apology. read more

I was here once before and they had me wait 30 mins even though I had set an appointment for 1. The next time i went I set an appointment for 2 on their website and ended up having to wait 45 mins. After the 45 minutes I got up and asked when they will be done with the other clients and they said 15 minutes!!!! I'm a college student I don't usually have time to do things like this so I literally had to leave!! DONT CONFIRM APPOINTMENTS IF YOU CANT STAY LOYAL TO THEM. I told them that I had made an appointment for 2 and all they had to say was "sorry". ???? WHAT. It doesn't even matter if you make an appointment because they don't care about them. I will never be going back. I wasted so much time sitting there. A waste of time - don't go here. read more

The only thing that was good about this nail salon was the decoration. The woman I had was very rushed. When doing my pedicure, I asked her to please do not scrub the bottom of my feet. I'm very sensitive to this, but instead of respecting my wishes, she continued to scrub them. With the manicure, I asked for number 30 (aqua blue) but instead she used number 33. It was too late when I noticed this and I didn't bother to say anything. When she was filing my nails, she was way too fast and careless. I proceeded to tell her that the nails were uneven and crooked, she looked at them and quickly filed them again, but yet they were still crooked. When painting my nails, she didn't do an even coat of polish and got the nail polish was all over my fingers and did not clean them off. When applying the top coat, she did not cover the whole nail and left an un even coat to the nail. Overall this place was a flop and I will not be returning. read more

Great nail salon! They sanitize all of their instruments and they have liners for their pedicure tubs! They pull the instruments out of the sanitizer when you get there which always makes me feel better. I will be returning read more

I went here just to get my nails painted, nothing else. I told them this multiple times. But they kept preparing me for acrylic nails and filed my nails down until they look terrible. I've only gotten one other manicure in my life, so I didn't know that this wasn't what they were supposed to be doing, although I did keep asking if this was how they did a normal manicure. Now my nails hurt and they'll look bad for months. This was just one lady, the man working there did make them look decent for the time being, but once the polish is off, they'll be terrible again. I've never been so unhappy with my nails. I wish I took a picture of them before they covered their mistakes with polish. read more

I absolutely LOVE Happy Nails-it's super clean, the people are nice. The only reason for the three stars is due to the fact that I have called for a week now to get an appointment and NO ONE answers or returns my messages. It's so frustrating because every time I try to do a walk-in, they are too busy. Love you Happy Nails, so please call me back! read more

I went in as they opened and all I wanted was a manicure. To take old polish off, a full manicure with just clear gel put on. They didn't seem like they understood what I wanted. They wanted to take my old polish off with an electric filer (no remover). I stopped her and I walked out. Nothing done no cost. read more

This has become my go to place for nail services (pedicure and dip powder manicure). Service ranges from good to great depending on the nail tech. They take walk-ins, but I've seen guests w/o an appointment turned away on weekends because they were so busy. You can make reservations online or via phone, which I recommend doing at least 1-2 days in advance. They have a vast selection of colors in regular and gel polish, as well as dip powder, and most colors they seem to offer all 3 options (so you can get matching pedi/mani in different mediums). They use disposable plastic covers in the pedi bowls which I really appreciate for better cleanliness. Only thing I'm not crazy about is guest hygiene enforcement with the dip powder. They dip your nails directly in the powder instead of sprinkling on top, which creates cross contamination between guests. I try to wash my hands once I get to the salon before putting my fingers in the dip powder, but not once have I been asked to do this by staff, and I've never heard them ask other guests to do this either. I know the chances of an infection from cross contaminating dip powders are slim, but it's not impossible (I believe another reviewer even posted about this happening to her at this salon). Unfortunately, it doesn't deter me from coming back because they do a good job, although I've considered (and would recommend to others) buying and bringing my own dip powder. read more

I got my nails done here after a recommendation from a friend and I ended up loving this place. I was greeted upon arrival and taken within 20 minutes of entering. During my pedicure, the nail tech was very friendly, professional, and polite. The waiting area is comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. Parking was easy to find and close to the establishment. I greatly recommend it to anyone looking to get their nails done in or around Hershey! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO COME HERE!!! First of all, the technician I had was very unprofessional - she was talking on her cell phone literally the whole time she did my nails. I came here to get a regular gel manicure and only 3 days later, the polish came off 6 of my nails (I've never had gel come off in less than 2 weeks) I called and explained the situation, and the owner said I could come back in and have them redone. I told him that I had a very unpleasant experience there and did not want to come back in, but would rather just be refunded. He refused & I continued to explain to him why I did not want to come back in & eventually he just hung up on me. I decided to go back in the next day to get them fixed since I had no other choice. I went in and he told me it was too busy to take and me and to come back the next day....not going to happen. THIS ESTABLISHMENT WILL RIP YOU OFF & THEN REFUSE TO DEAL WITH YOU AFTER THAT! read more
