OK my first visit where I got a Mani pedi. It was OK! I came back for a second time and try to Gel Pedi-manicure. The gentleman who did my manicure was very unfriendly. He was hurried. It was a sloppy job. He seem to be chatting with his friend who was doing my pedicure. She did a good job. I gave them a decent tip, but was very unsatisfied. I will not be coming back. Terrible terrible experience. I came in with my 80 year old, blind grandmother, in her wheelchair and right away they stared at me struggling to get through their doors before someone finally came to help me hold them open. As one of the service ladies came to help, she came up to my grandmother, stared at her, and said "what is wrong with you". I explained to them she was fine and that she was just blind so she can't see her surroundings. They proceeded to walk around the salon, staring and pointing at her angiving the dirtiest of looks. The artist doing her nails was aggressive and lacked any sense of empathy or compassion. Not only does she do my manicures and pedicures, but she also does my daughter's, which used to suffer from in grown toe nails, but julie really helped to alleviate that issue. Hadn't been here in a while cuz I just wasn't into getting my nails done but came back to treat myself before my vacation. Can't remember the lady who did my nails, but she was really sweet. Were they perfect in length, no, but they lasted me 2 whole weeks while partaking many water activities (snorkeling, kayaking, cave swimming, surfing etc...) I banged them up numerous times and they were SO strong on they didn't crack or break at all. Went back for a fill and touch up by Sonny who has done mine & my daughters nails in the past many times and he never disappoints!! Length IS perfect for work as I requested and love the thickness of them as well. I do recommend calling before but they always take me within 30-40 minutes of my call the day of! Making an appointment was SUPER easy. When I arrived about 5-10 minutes before my time, I was helped immediately. It looked kind of busy so I was worried I was going to have to wait long but I didn't! I was still trying to pick out my color when Nikki walked up and greeted me! =) Nikki was great and so nice! I showed her a couple of screenshots of colors I liked from their Yelp page and a few samples from their color sample basket. I couldn't quite decide but knew I wanted a neutral kind of color - maybe like a soft pink or mauve. She said I know what you're looking for and started on my pinky. Then showed me to make sure I liked it. I asked if we could add some glitter to give it a bit of sparkle and she said, yup no problem, I can do that! I believe the color code of this powder dip was 799 or 779 (I should have taken a picture but if you ask for Nikki, I'm sure she would know from the pic) Also, this was my first time doing powder dip and it looked so easy and looks good! With each coat, I just got more and more excited. When she put that last coat of gloss on it, I couldn't stop smiling with how happy I was with the color. Its perfect for work but still nice enough to look dressed up/done up on weekends. Nikki already recommended the next color I shoukd get for next time. Excited to try it. DO NOT get Ivy if you're removing Mani Gel I've had gel mani before and nail techs have removed it before with the shaver machine but my nails have NEVER been paper thin. The last time I got a gel mani was probably 3 years ago. She also didn't know what almond shape was. Other than that, I love this place. Great prices and they're very honest/on point about their availability. The guy who answers the phone calls and works at the front (same guy) seems to know how to run the shop efficiently with the way he plans your appointment with what you need done etc. read more

I got manicure tips done and showed her a pic of what I wanted. She did a decent job but I've gotten tips somewhere else before and they were PERFECT. I did a lot of hAnd holding to show what needed to change and all but still not 100% satisfied. I felt she could do a better job cuz when I told her to improve she seemed annoyed but if she just listened she would know what I'm talking about. I tried really hard to like this place. While I'm super thankful that they squeezed me in on Mother's Day weekend, I was not satisfied with the over all service and results. I got a manicure and tried powder dip for the first time. I also got a pedicure. I appreciated the options for color, but felt like they were going so fast that I couldn't enjoy my time there. I'm not joking that in max 25 minutes my toes were done. I was out the door in less than an hour. I had noticed that the nail technician doing my nails didn't clean up my nails before starting the dip. Essentially, she just started working on my grimey nails and the results looks sloppy. Again, she worked incredibly fast and a lot of the dip stuck to the side of my nails (which feels uncomfortable). Also, the dip powder is supposed to last 3 weeks (longer than gel) and it's only been about 4 days and my nails have cracked and chipped. I'm super disappointed because I have a friend who loves this place. I also will likely need to pay to get the powder removed and get my nails done again. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this place. A huge bummer. read more

Please be extremely aware of the male manicurist they have here. He extremely rude and seems clueless to his job. There are several complaints on this guy and I hope this location talks to him to do a better job and ideally not injure customers!!! This is the second time he's worked in my nails and this is the last. He left so much glue under my nails, it looks horrible and painful. He literally scraped my fingers filing my nails. I got gel x. I asked him to redo my thumb bc he over filed them, it was leaning to one direction because he over filed. Y'all...it's just bad. When I brought up that the glue was still under my nail, he said I could wash it off...ITS GLUE! The lady who did my pedicure added more polish to my "nail" it was actually glue that he didn't paint over. I don't want to leave one star bc I've had so many great experiences here over the last few years. I didn't mind him working on my nails this second time bc I wanted to give him another opportunity. People have bad days so I tried to be understanding the first time. But clearly, he has no clue how to do a proper manicure without injuries. Let's just say. I learned my lesson. Avoid him, you don't want your skin glued and bleeding for days. The manager said to fix it at that time but I didn't have the time to fix them there and then. He said to come in the next days. I'm so happy I went to this place! I had made it a goal to myself this year to try to limit my nail salon visits. I've been very good about it, actually! Being that I don't frequent nail salons as much as I used to, I wasn't really sure what nail salons were good or not so good anymore. Just your standard gel manicure and a deluxe pedicure. They had so many gel color options, it was almost a little overwhelming. The lady who was working on my nails helped me choose the color. She was super sweet. Both the manicure and pedicure were done thoroughly, which I loved. I've gone to some salons before where I felt like they were rushing the job. I got a foot and arm massage as well! They even put those green beaded looking things to help exfoliate your skin and rid of dead skin cells. One of the workers was also walking the salon handing out bottles of water to all the guests. It's these little things that really win me over! I was very disappointed today. This was my second time at this place. I told them I was getting my bridal shower nails done and gave them such an EASY design... flowers. How can you mess this up? Everything was going well until it came to the design. My left hand looks a lot better that my right despite the fact that the lady cut my cuticle and it bled. She also left paint all over my hand and did not clean it!! But when I went in the car, I noticed SO MANY ISSUES after I dropped $80 on this set. It's a gel x fill set. . On my pinky the yellow is smeared, in two different places. It felt like she was rushing on the second hand, because the flowers are just straight up sloppy! They are spaced out weird and she did all these random green lines that just ruined it. When you look close it is so so sloppy. I am so sad because these were supposed to be very special and I never get designs and the one time I do, this happens. I just don't get it, do they not look at their work when they are done? I wrote my review based on my experience and the owner responded with attack tactics and using xenophobia term 'Chinese-Virus' and excuses of COVID19 during this time. Instead of first apologizing, he updated his response to make it seem like he responded in a mannerly way. If its not the unsanitary tools or the poor work of the technician, it's the bad customer services and work attitude of the owner that would give me more reasons not to even give this place a try at all or in the near future. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming to a place that support this kind of work ethnic and behaviors. I've been to H20 Nails many times over the past three years and it's always been a great experience . The nail technicians take their time, are efficient and get the job done beautifully. I've even asked for gift cards here for my bday since it's such a treat. They also take Venmo to send a tip which is nice because I don't always carry cash. She filed quickly and was not right and I tried to stop her to prevent her from filing more and explained again. But the shaped was already wrong because she filed so hard. They spoke in their own language across the store, not in a low voice neither, and she left, another lady came over without any explanation. I had to ask him to file out the bumps and sharp edges. The nail polish was not smooth and was very thick. After only a week, all my nails polish peeled off.
