Love this place. Tons of options and ready-to-eat food sections. Wish they would open up more locations.

One of our new favorite grocery stores! Our favorite part about H Mart is fresh seafood section and the food court!

The restaurants are awesome, the grocery selection is awesome, staff are very nice and polite, very clean, hygienic and pleasant. Always a treat coming here. COVID awareness is 100%, hand sanitizer and gloves at entrance and food court. read more

100th review! About to head here after going for the first time pre covid. Great selection and one off stuff. Want to try their restaurants. Excited to return and update the review read more

Love this place! Nice and clean. Just little over priced in my opinion. Their food court has variety of different korean food you can choose from. I like the noodle place (forgot the name), I ordered jjampong and it had good spice and flavor! read more

It's a nice clean place and well stocked. But the price for meat and fish is way too high. We won't be going back

Having an H Mart in the Phoenix area is so convenient! There is a huge variety of Asian foods (mainly Korean) as well as multiple restaurants and a few shops. The stationary shop (Art Box) is amazing, it has great price and many cute products that would be great for gifts or for yourself! There's a bakery and cafe called Paris Baguette inside the restaurant area and they legitimately have the BEST croissants in Arizona. Overall, this is an amazing shop with many hidden gems! read more

After living in Korea for three years and traveling to Asia quite a bit for work, I have learned to love Korean BBQ and Japanese cuisine. H Mart provides all the things needed to make these delicious meals and more. I also love the non-food items to include amazing stir fry pans, all types of cookware, rice cookers, ramen bowls, and the like. I am particularly fond of the meat in the butcher section: pre-sliced for traditional Korean meals, paired with lettuces, and perfect for Japanese Ramen. Also, the pre-sliced meats (porks) are an excellent way to help stick to Keto diets particularly for pre-planned meals and snacks and it is easy to cook! There's all the spices, the rices, the noodles and bok choy you could want. There are also other international cuisine food items there as well, so please check out this wonderful grocery store, and support your local Asian community. Don't forget there is an INCREDIBLE food court at the end of the store filled with all the delicious things. The best being Maisen Katsu ramen imho! read more

Beautiful store very well laid out easy to navigate friendly staff. Great food hall has a great French bakery. It was their second day opening and if you spent more than $30.00 you got a gift. The cashier will direct you over to the area in the food court. read more

Very clean and organized! Temperature checks when you walk in and gloves were provided. Highly suggest! They also have a bunch of food options to try when you're done shopping!! Highly suggest read more

Everything you could imagine Asian food groceries. Clean and helpful employees. . Give this place a try.

So know what you are looking for. I went to take my grandson to see how food might be different in other countries. I needed some fresh fruit and veggies as well. Sorry but they were pricey on the produce and on meat. It was clean and organized. Not the friendliest employees. I spent over $40. Some things we just threw out after trying them. No because of the store but our poor choice. read more

The Mesa store is a little more Americanized than the ones in southern California-yet still is catering to Korean and Asian palates. Some great deals abound-the live Atlantic (eastern Canada, similar to Maine) lobster for $10/lb is a screaming buy (you pay $25+ anywhere else you go); the meat quality for either shabu or Korean BBQ is high. Fresh sushi and live tilapia. Produce section outstanding, as is the food court. Great store worth the drive from all over Phoenix. read more

They have everything I need. It's about time Arizona got a Asian store with items from all over Asia. Especially Japanese candy!!!!!!

So many Asian goods, quality of the grocery is top notch and so many sincere Asian employees to help you find what you need!

Their selection of meat was great. The quality was good in comparison to other places. I'm assuming that they were not prepared with how much customers would be there. I came early Sunday morning from the West side of town and the meat section was already low in stock. Hopefully they will be able to adjust to the needs. read more

I'm soooo happy we finally have a Hmart here in Arizona!!! This place is amazing great deals and they have rewards system unlike Asiana. (Asiana now has a rewards system I think because they knew Hmart was coming in town.) Well Hmart is the best Korean/Asian market ever, hands down. I've never really expected great customer service in an Asian market (actually any market) but there is a lot of variety and fresh produce, seafood, and meat. Also they have amazing food courts and I've always loved their Korean side dishes they sell. I felt like Asiana side dishes were ridiculously expensive. However we will see how much everything costs here. Just want everyone to know you will not be disappointed here when looking for Asian products. read more

I am primarily drawn to the Asian markets because they are the only place to buy natto, which I eat several times a week. I was very pleasantly surprised to see such a large variety of natto packages at H Mart. This will be my first stop when it comes time for me to restock. read more

Busy place parking is kinda hard to find. But the ready made Korean food is good not bad if you want a quick ready meal. They also had a food court if you prefer, haven't try the food but seems pretty popular with all the people sitting in the food court. read more

Super impressed with this store and their customer service today despite all the customers, they handled everything well and were very nice and professional. Found so many things that I've been missing from Korea but haven't found at any other Asian market so I will definitely be coming here a lot! Food court looks amazing and I can't wait to come back and try all of the food. Plus they have a kids corner so that's very awesome for those with kids and i LOVED that they had the ArtBox store in front with a lot of cute stationery and everything! read more

By far this is the best H Mart I've been to, and that includes locations in NJ, NY, CA and TX. They have a wide selection of Korean and Japanese goods at a reasonable price. The produce and seafood are fresh as well. Best of all, the place is sparkling clean and the staff works nonstop to keep the place sanitized. This is now my favorite grocery in the Phoenix area. read more

I've never had any problems here the other two times me an my daughter came but tonite was different me and my daughter grabbed a few things we been wanting and we did not know that right at 9:00 pm they just stop taking costumers but still let them shop oddly! So me an my daughter got to the register at 9:02pm maybe sooner cause after talking to them an getting to my car it was 9:03 so the man says we are close we look at each other in disbelief an he ask the other cashier her name is Maria in customer service! I told you guys didn't even warn us. An she starts going off yelling saying yes we did an saying something else that I really couldn't understand cause she was yelling! Meanwhile my daughter starts walking outside cause the lady is raising her voice at me! Well I will be calling tomorrow morning hopefully the manager Mr.woo don't yell at mee too for making a complaint but this wasn't good customer service at all! read more

Fantastic seafood and produce. It's super clean, wow! The gentleman who filet our trout this morning did a fine job. Thank you!

Clean supermarket and a lot of choices. Loved the place. There is also a food court and pastry shop

Mesa H Mart is finally open! You are required to wear a mask, they also passed out gloves. Lines went fast. Super clean, well organized, and great prices. read more

Amazing place to grab some food and go shopping afterwards! I will definitely be back. Also don't forget to check the bakery on your way out. It is worth the wait read more

Great place if you are wanting app different kinds of Asian foods or different foods around the world. HUGE store as well.

Finally right? Little slice of what other heavily Asian populated cities have! Arizona used to get clowned on from other Asians from larger metropolitan areas such as LA, Seattle, NYC. But now we have one too! Lol read more

They have good selection of stuff, the only complain I have is the staff. Some lady suspected me of stealing , I was standing by the art box section , where they sell stationary with my cart waiting for my family to finish looking there. This lady runs to open a register and tells me I need to pay , I said I know I'm waiting for my family to be done looking there and she just kept going on and on. Anyway after a while another customer went up to the register and that occupied her. I then went to the seafood/meat section , there was a man walking behind us and I told my sister to watch out and move over so the man can pass. We stopped since he was getting closer . However , he passed by ,literally bumping into my sister, very creepily and didn't say a word. He was a worker. I mean these employees are rude , they need to be have better customer service. read more

The cashier in the supermarket was very awkward. He miscalculated the account and counted the items of the following customers in the items I purchased. After I found out, an older staff member came out to explain to me in very bad English. She said that the discounted kiwis need to cost me 50 $,to buy, and asked me if I was a point member of this supermarket, I also took out my point member card, and then she went to look at the computer again, and after a long time, she said that I bought it. Excluding the kiwi fruit in the item, the total cost is less than 45 $. If you need it, let me add 10 $, This is the calculation. The problem is that the stall where you sell kiwifruit does not have any tips on the price. My friend asked Why is there no explanation on the booth for this very old staff member? She said to ask my boss to go. He is in New Jersey! Very rude, she recalculated us again, wasting us too much time! read more

So glad they finally opened! Very clean and wide variety of meats and seafood. Always keeping an eye out for specials and deals. Favorite Asian store in AZ read more

I usually go to H mart every Sunday. First, a variety of food , clean and safe atmosphere and a lot of good deals . Secondly the best customer service i ever had . There is a guy Favian ( he is so kind and helps a lot with my sister. So i asked him his name and i don't do ask names or write comments for person .i was very impressive with his help) . At this Covid time i really appreciated someone who is working so hard and take care of customers . Now i know why people talk about H mart is No .1 favorite asian supermarket. read more

So happy that H Mart is in Arizona. Love this store, they have large variety of food, housewares, and live seafood. Been their customers for a long time from another State. It was a go to place for quick snacks to dinner prep. We even go back to the State to buy their food and either fly back or drive back to Arizona. Now that is around 15 minutes away from my place, sure will go more often. Can't wait to try the food court there. It was quite busy the day we went. But planning to go back for sure. H Mart, our family welcome you! read more

I give it 4.5 stars!!! Definitely worth driving to. The wife loves the huge produce section which has all kinds of asain vegis, and fresh to boot! Meat section is definitely better than most, but be prepared to spend some bucks in the beef section!!!! Huge array of dry goods, and a good selection of packaged cooked foods! We usually go every other week, and having a Paris Baguette in store is also a huge plus!!!! read more

The market was amazing, very clean and lots of varieties of fresh produce and the meat department was especially nice. Walked by all the seafood and wasn't smelly like other places. I love the food court and the kiosks within the market read more

For those that love different styles of asian cuisine and want to to attempt to create them yourselves, this is the place to go. From the fresh produce such as having a juicy Korean pear to bottled Kim-chi (which is very tasty) to different variations of dumplings and fresh noodles. I cannot begin to touch the surface of what they offer here but we love going here to try our hand of creating different meals. Then there is the food court. I feel like you cannot go wrong here as we have tried almost all of these places and you get your money's worth as far as portion and quality. One of the places I recommend is Da Pan Bulgogi noodle plate. Comes out steaming hot and absolutely delicious. For desert I recommend going to check out Paris Baguette but for those that have been to bigger asian bread locations such as 85 degrees Celsius in CA, the options here are nowhere near what you'll find there but the quality is pretty similar and there some really good options when they have them out. read more
