So disappointed - I purchased gas from them on 1/12/2017 and almost immediately thereafter, my car started running badly and was finally unable to be driven. My mechanic says the problems are the result of the gasoline having too much ethanol (30%). HEB has denied that there's a problem, and will not work with me to fix the issue. I'm now stuck with a large repair bill and no help. I won't be back even if it means going out of my way to shop somewhere else. read more

This review is for the PHARMACY!!! Hands down THE BEST pharmacy we have ever had the pleasure to be a customer of!!! Their customer service is top notch!!! The newbies are still learning but they are learning from the BEST!!! Jean, pharmacist, and Gwen have the patience and customer service I've never encountered before. These ladies go the extra mile in trying to find the best prices, generic solutions, etc. We truly appreciate them and cannot say enough of their value to our local pharmacy!!! I won't even change RX plans if it means having to give up H-E-B pharmacy. I'm sure we are not the only ones who feel this way. There have been a handful of other really great others who have moved away and we miss them dearly!!! Cheers to Jean and Gwen read more

I don't like a few of the people in their customer service booth ... rude ... l don't care for one of their managers ... her name is Dawn ... rude, unfriendly, inefficient. However, in spite of that, it is geographically convenient. Hence, back l go. read more

Sorry Randalls. It's not you. It's me. It's just that with work, and yada yada I won't be able to come around as much anymore.

While I was originally elated to have this store in Lakeway, I have grown to really dislike it in the past few months. I acknowledge the fact that Covid-19 has changed things for all of us and we must deal with inconveniences during these times. However, I see no excuse for H‑E‑B to be stocking their shelves during prime time shopping hours when the stockers are completely in the way ... always! Why can't HEB get their shelves stocked in the middle of the night when there are no shoppers? Don't most grocery stores do this? Add to that the fact that there are MANY curbside shopping (multiple shelving) carts all over the store. I get that a lot of people want to get their groceries curbside and that's great. I can live with the curbside shopping staff and their large carts but even with this HUGE store, it's ridiculous how much room the stockers take up in the isles when we already have to navigate around the curbside shopping team as well. I never thought that I would say or write this, but I see a lot more of Randall's shopping in my future and I'll also drive a few more extra miles to go to a smaller HEB or Trader Joes where the management sees the importance of providing enough space for their customers to shop. read more

This HEB opened about a year ago and provided area residents an alternative to the horrible HEB in Bee Cave (don't get me started). I give this store about a 9.5 on a 10 point scale. There are a few minor bruises here, but not enough to draw from their excellent product selection, customer service, and outstanding wine department. While the store layout is a bit daunting, life is made easier there if one downloads the HEB app for the store. It will help you successfully navigate through a somewhat confusing array of aisles. Being a devoted oenophile, I find their wine department to be outstanding in every way. The reason? Their two wine gurus, Mino and Logan. Not only do they navigate one through the vast array of their selection, but they are both GREAT GUYS who make you feel at home and special. They give me first class attention, offer suggestions that are informed and spot on, and do so in a friendly and charming manner. They always have available my personal 'house wine' by the case, and are constantly exposing me to wines that I would not normally try. Their winning demeanor and informed wine knowledge keep me coming back. Both Mino and Logan are trusted wine friends, and I would invite both to my home to educate my frequent guests about new and special wines. Mino and Logan are the best HEB has to offer. I don't often toss off hyperboles, but these guys are really good! The Table 620 restaurant is a welcome bonus to shopping there. The food is far better than I imagined (try the BBQ beans...outstanding...good burgers, too) and on Sundays they feature Grapefruit Mimosas. I slam one down then do my grocery shopping. No doubt they put me in the spirit to buy more groceries that I intend. I can't tell you how much fun it is to stop in for a drink, have some tasty comestibles, and go shopping for the week's groceries. Even though I live about 12 miles away, I'm there about three or four times a week. I love this store, and Mino and Logan get rainbows for being the best wine guys in town! read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. I came in for a drink at the cafe yesterday evening. Only one bartender working and I got ignored for some gentlemen that already had their drinks. After the bartender was finished he began filling someone else's beer (on tap) and wasn't paying attention and had the beer overfill with foam with not even a third filled with actual beer and in the process spilt the foam on my face, glasses, phone and wallet. Then looked at me and laughed and threw napkins my way. If he couldn't fill a beer on tap then he probably couldn't handle a real drink order. I'd take my money elsewhere read more

Thank you thank you for such a huge selection of organic products!! I will purchase nothing but after being educated on the Round up sprayed GMO crap that has become our mainstream produce. I am thrilled with the HEB brand of organics and I applaud HEB for having that available to my family. Oh.. And Daves Killer White bread done Right! Yay for that because my son doesn't like seedy bread lol read more

Last week it took six tries to have my groceries delivered; either they did not come, scheduled it for pickup, said it was cancelled, etc. Today I got it in two tries. Although I scheduled it delivery, they had it as pickup. From now on, immediately after scheduling a delivery, I will see how they scheduled it. The people who deliver are always very accommodating. read more

So much to tell! Let's start with my only complaint and that is I had to wait 25 years for H-E-B to come to my hood. Let's face it it's a grocery store it has live music a fantastic restaurant and it's a huge grocery store with lots of choices . So really why five stars ? Because of its people !!! They all smile at you they greet you they're nice they're super knowledgeable about their store and they are genuine ! This new H-E-B gets five stars because it hired the best people and it shows and that's the heart of any business congratulations for putting the best talent in the best grocery store ever ! read more

Love this HEB - it's grand it's got a lot going on but it didn't get five stars because the wine department attendants are annoying as heck. Can I just browse the wines without you breathing down my neck like a vulture? I mean it never fails every single time I venture down a wine aisle I get one of the two same wine guys in my face asking if I need help and then after I've said no and I just want to browse and use my Vivino wine app, they watch me like a hawk and come make recommendations anyway. Really, I'm fine. Leave me alone and I'll ask for your help if I want it. I mean every time, it kills me. And after I've said I don't need your help quit walking around watching me - is that really your job description? Maybe try doing your job, whatever the heck else you're supposed to be doing. read more

I absolutely love this store! They have everything I need and always have som sort of tasting going on. Combine this with a great cafe/restaurant which doesn't accept tips and this place is a must go to. Try the meat and seafood department for their specials and the bakery is also a must try. Recommend without reservation..... read more

I'm loving the new HEB!! It's so open and bright. It's also really nice to have an affordable gas station in Lakeway. I am not giving 5 stars because I feel that their meat department has been out of items on multiple occasions. Also I went on a Sunday night and could not get 5 things on my list. The shelves were bare in some areas. Hoping this is still the working out the kinks stage. Also the restaurant is amazing!! read more

By far the fanciest HEB in the Austin area. I was amazed at how big and beautiful this store is! This is definitey the Gucci of grocery stores. I love the cafe. I just like going in here to walk around and kill time. read more

I was ecstatic when this HEB opened right down the street. It's clean, well lit, always stocked, friendly helpful staff & really good cafe. Still ecstatic! read more

Hate speech, obviously an Austin Lib. She likes the store yet her review is about hating people. She wants to visit the nice grocery store and demands respect without respecting others. She hates people from "West Austin"....and "entitlement syndrome" is not typically associated with upperclass when we have worked hard for everything and pay the most in taxes. read more

Overall its a nice store. The deli department customer service is terrible. Twice I have been at that counter and twice I have not had a good experience. First time waited for awhile until someone asked if they could help. I requested HEB hard salami. "No, we're out of that". Second time, I counted five people in the department. One person was assisting the customers. The rest were walking by and smiling but were busy cutting and packing for displays. Unbelievable. I walked out. read more

This H-E-B is really nice, it has a great selection and I love their curbside! It also has a good restaurant attached to it that has healthy options, live music and a bar. We've always had a great experience here. read more

Best supermarket ever, bought supplements here in their health section and it was priced lower than Amazon! Attendants were very helpful selection of dry goods /nut mixes dried fruit etc is massive. Wish there was one in NY. read more

HEB CAR WASH RIPPED OFF MY MIRROR AND REFUSES TO PAY FOR IT! I pulled into the HEB car wash and the brush completely tore my mirror off. After speaking to the manager Darnell Warren he assured me that HEB would take care of it. He even spoke to a witness that confirmed that the car wash was faulty, but later made a statement that it was my fault and that there are signs that say HEB is not responsible for any damage to your car. So now I'm out $500 bucks. What a disgusting company! read more

This HEB at Lakeway always gives the best customer service. They care and they care about the customers. It is the first of the month and I needed a car tag. I went to HEB Lakeway expecting a line but instead I was in and out of there in 4 minutes. This girl at the customer service desk knew what she was doing and was so fast I love this store and I pass 5 HEB's on my way home. This one is the best. read more

I am so glad to finally have an HEB in Lakeway. It's big and spacious and of course has everything you need. I'm really excited about the new cafe that should be opening soon. I love HEB!! read more

It's another new HEB where demo stations are loud, where there is non-stop yelling by the people trying to get you to stop at their endcaps, and to make it worse, no self-check out and the slowest checkers on earth. I literally waited 5 minutes for the checker to scan two coupons while chatting with her customer. When is HEB going to learn that more yellers, less name brands and removal of self-checkouts makes other grocery stores more appealing. read more

We ate at HEB on the way out of town. We were pleasantly surprised that it was some of the best food on the trip after going to several restaurants. We ordered the South Carolina BBQ sandwich and also Shrimp tacos. Service was friendly and food came to the table fast! read more

Exceptional customer service experience! Mike, the Store Manager, went above and beyond to ensure our Curbside Pickup experience was a fantastic one. read more

This HEB is a small percentage more expensive than others, but overall I think you get what you pay for. Good selection, great meat counter, cooking demonstrations and an on-staff sommelier. read more

Bought their frozen italian style HEB meatballs. 33% of them were bad like old meat was used in the place that made them. Very sad to try to eat a meatball not knowing if the next one will be okay or terrible. (!) Also bought some prime pub burgers that tasted bad, like made from old beef or left out in the heat....no more meat buying here. W ill try Whole Foods and Costco next. read more

They focus on their heir own brands instead of other national products. I now go to Randall's for a better variety.

This New HEB has the most impatient and unfriendly managers. The employees are usually helpful when trying to find something...but you wouldn't need so much help if the groceries were grouped and arranged in a logical way. I'm sure it's on purpose to sell more...but is it worth the annoyed customers? Every time Im there I hear someone complaining about how they can't find something. Once you get to check out, the managers are bossy, unhappy, and unwelcoming. Not to mention they are no help. read more

Kudos to the guys in the meat department for taking the extra effort to cut the pork chops the way I like them. And the pork is by far the best I have had. read more

This is one of the nicest HEB stores in Texas. The store is beautifully designed and they have a great selection of pre-prepared foods. HEB really stands out in terms of their quality and selection of interesting and unique products. I highly recommend you check them out. read more

This new store in Lakeway is as nice as the HEB in Bee Cave, except the aisles here are wider and there is a dining and bar establishment attached. The man in the outdoor section was extremely nice and helpful. I took away two stars because produce advertised at sale prices was coming out on the scales as regular price. I was told by a young man working that section that they were aware of the problem (no signs posted or anything, though) and that the items would ring up properly at the register. One of my items (sweet potatoes) did ring up properly and the other (Fuji apples) did NOT. When I brought it to Raemon D, the cashier's attention, he just looked at me as if I had two heads. Since it was only about a 40 cent difference in this case, and people were waiting behind me, I checked out and high-tailed it back to Spicewood with my ice cream. This episode left me with the feeling that I cannot trust the prices posted to be the same as those charged, and I will continue to shop in Bee Cave from now on. If you shop here, watch the prices rung up VERY carefully, and insist the cashier fix the errors. read more
