With easy to see symbols we can always find the gluten free foods we need, and others who need to be careful to avoid certain ingredients can enjoy finding them easily. There is a nice selection of specialty foods, and the HEB Brand food items are tasty and well-made. Employees have been very helpful, walking with me to find show me exactly where the thing I need is. When the pharmacy is out of a needed prescription, personnel have very helpful in finding where we can get it. read more

We have a closer HEB but we haven't been too happy with it lately. This location is great. We shop early Saturday morning and it's great to walk down aisles with no stockers and boxes. The selection is fantastic-they have everything we want. Very helpful at check-out as well read more

I love this heb but if you go anytime after 3pm on weekdays it's too crowded and weekends are the same past like 10am.

I went to this HEB with my sister and her husband. They were in from out of town and have out of state licenses. We were buying alcohol and my sisters was first in line. She showed her id and the cashier said she couldn't accept out of state licenses though she would ask her manager and said "We'll see if she's in a good mood". Well she absolutely was not and would not allow any of us, not just my sister, purchase alcohol even though I was in line behind her. I was curious and asked if this was a new HEB policy. She just kept repeating " no out of state licenses". While every HEB probably has different policies, if you are from out of state and hoping to purchase an alcoholic beverage, go to a different HEB. This place is top notch! There are a few HEB locations around Austin that aren't as great and seem a bit old but this one is very clean and well kept and has a ton of options for your grocery needs. Anything you can possibly fathom is in this giant place and I shop here weekly for my food needs and I always look forward to the experience. Their deli section is great because they have pre-sliced meats to select from so you don't have to wait in line to procure it. They also make their own, fresh Guacamole here and it is very delicious!! How can you beat that? Frankly, if you're not in to that sort of thing, then we can't be friends so I am sorry in advance for your loss! Something that I find here that I've never seen at a grocery store is the multitude of strategically placed coupons next to your favorite products. This store INSISTS that you save money and they hang the coupons right there so you don't have to pick up a giant book in the beginning and go on a scavenger hunt. Not to say scavenger hunts aren't a blast because I'm not heartless I assure you, but when you're trying to get your food and weekly essentials quickly, you don't want to be bothered with that. There's a time and a place, gang. I would also like to point out, fellow patron, that their healthy foods section is very large and comprehensive with a ton of options and you don't have to go to whole foods to get it. No stars for this pharmacy - Called in to see if my Rx was ready - A female w/a zero customer service voice answered. I asked if she could take my insurance info so I could know what I'm going to be spending (had to get an inhaler & sometimes those are $250). Completely flat voice acted feel like it was too bothersome. Wouldn't take my info. I called my Dr. & got my Rx transferred to CVS where they not only took my info but helped me find another brand that would be covered by my insurance and saved me over $200. HEB Blooms is the perfect florist! During our wedding planning, we quickly discovered that floral arrangements associated with weddings are overpriced. Strangely enough the HEB on Whitestone always has the best floral designs we had ever seen. We always stop at that location to buy anything to do with flowers. Their lead floral designer is Angela Duran and her creations are pure eye candy. We asked Angela if they did weddings and if they delivered. The answer was yes! We setup and appointment and brought in all of our vases that we had made, and décor picture mock ups so she could get a feel for the theme and colors of the weddings. After picking out what flower theme to use, they had a great planner that let us pick out everything quickly. Strangely enough, due to the bulk of the same flowers we bought, the savings in bulk was actually passed on to us! Our wedding had a ton of flowers used in pots, vases for the tables, gift tables, the chapel etc. They all came out fabulous, especially the bridal bouquet! Not a single flower was wilted, everything showed up to the venue on time and most importantly it all looked amazing! Don't waste your time with florists that take days to call you back. HEB blooms will get it done correctly and is backed by the grocery store you trust! read more

This HEB is not 24hrs they close at midnight, and is currently undergoing renovations. If you go to the Sushi bar get the San Antonio roll, its really awesome, they make it fresh at this HEB. They carry some of my favorite Pilsner, and the prices are lower than Whole foods. They also have a very good seafood section. read more

I visited this HEB very recently. I am a huge HEB goer and enjoy the stores a lot, but I recently had a very rude encounter with a team member. Unsure of the name. I do know that I (a 16 year old, but still human) went to try a sample with my grandpa and as I was doing this barely touched a sample, which was rotisserie chicken salad. She very rudely approached this situation by snapping at me that I had to take it if I touched it. I was stunned at the rudeness in her voice. She said I could throw it away all while being very rude. I said you need to know how to approach certain situations like this and she replied with "oh i'm sorry but those are the rules" with a tone as if she was laughing and as if she were talking to a three year old. Poor customer service therefore a one star review. Get it together. read more

My aunt has been raving about this HEB to me. She said it's her most favorite and the only one she will go to if she can help it. Today my husband and I were out galavanting and the last thing we decided was to do a little grocery shopping. We decided to come out to this one and see what my aunt was talking about. Every HEB partner we encountered was so helpful, nice and seemed happy. We had a hodgepodge shopping list so I didn't have as organized as I usually do when I'm grocery shopping. At one point we were standing in an aisle staring trying to find something. There was a lady that was stalking the shelves and I think she saw that look in our eye and she asked "Can I help you find something?" I responded "Yes we're looking for the taco seasoning?" She smiled warmly at us and happily answered "Oh yeah that's going to be on aisle six." Off we went. One of the things that we noticed was that this HEB wasn't so giant and spread out like the Pluses and the giant one one University Blvd in Round Rock. As we walked to the checkout stands I noticed that almost everyone was open and there wasn't long crazy longs. There was a lady that was directing people into lines to make things go smoothly. That's was one of the things that my aunt said she really liked. We ended up in an express line and I have never seen an HEB cashier so happy and friendly. This guy (I wish I caught his name) smiled at us, greeted and then told us thank you and to have a nice day. For a split second I almost forgot where we were at. Damn we wish we were a little bit closer to this store. read more

I recently moved to Cedar Park and was so stoked knowing I would be living right behind this HEB, very convenient. I have shopped at HEB all of my life and have lived in various parts of Austin and have been to many different H-E-B locations. This location is by far the worst stocked H-E-B ever. They are constantly out of stuff and not just one particular item, a multitude of things. It's shocking because almost every time I'm there, I typically go in the evenings not always but a majority of the time, when the stockers are out filling the shelves. I don't get it, it's very frustrating and have many times had to go to the Walmart across the street to get my must haves that H-E-B is generally always out of. Even when they are stocking the shelves, more conversations are going on rather than stocking in. Either the buyer for this store doesn't know what they are doing or they do not realize how many people actually live in Cedar Park and need to purchase more. H-E-B's in the hood are stocked better than this store. Not only that but their meat department refused to put anymore hamburger meat out on a Sunday at 6pm when there were several people hovering in that area wanting to purchase meat because they don't want it to go bad. When you have at least 5 people looking for hamburger meat at one time, put some more freaking meat out, people will purchase it. Instead we were left with the only option which was going to the meat counter and having to order some prime or grass fed meat that is more expensive. Their chicken is of very low quality as well. I have many times bought chicken with feathers still attached, in the packaging, and it has a yellowish color, it's disgusting. For such a nice area, this H-E-B is not the greatest, plan to go to a second store because more than likely they will be out of everything. read more

Cashier "Carina H." was extremely rude and prejudice. They had several items for 6.97$ with a 3$ off coupon. Her supervisor Vicky wasn't any help at all. She just said that it was the wrong price and that they would have to change the end cap price. Ended up getting the items for 7.52$; not as advertised. read more

The Pharmacey staff at this HEB our just incredible. Even if your in they're looking for an OTC medicine they will give you a consultation about your issue and come out and help you look for it on the shelves. Thats never going to happen at a CVS or Walgreens. read more

i was visiting my friend who recently moved to austin from california and she was trying to buy alcohol with her california id. the cashier called the manager because she had an out of state license, and the manager refused to sell her alcohol without a second PHOTO id. we are both in our 30's and california license is a government issued form of identification that is accepted even internationally, i.e. canada. my friend is never going back to this store again. we went across the street to walmart and was able to buy our wines without any problem. read more

I've been shopping here five years and have yet to meet an employee who was not friendly. The store is always clean and well organized and there's typically little food tasting and wine testing areas which are fun and give me ideas for dinners, snacks, and wines. Prices are also just as good, if not better, than nearby Wal-Mart (though the Wal-Mart across the street is nice), but the produce at HEB is much fresher. Employees in the parking lot to cashiers to those working behind the sushi stand and meat area are always kind and helpful. So sad that I'll be moving soon and not be able to shop here anymore. read more

I come into this HEB every Sunday to do my shopping. The last few times I have said to myself why do I keep coming here? Today was the worst!! The customer service line was 5 deep with 1 worker, all 3 of the HEB buy an item get a free item that I wanted were out of the free item, and 2 of the items I needed they were out of also. So frustrated!! Not a big fan of Walmart but they keep it stocked!! That's where I will be next Sunday because I had to go there anyway to get what HEB is out of! read more

I give this store only one star only because for about the 100th time, today they were out of the most common food in the universe. One quart regular milk. This happens so often in this store it makes me think someone is mentally challenged. If you run out of regular milk so often, wouldn't you keep track and increase your order accordingly? i Have been a customer for over 20 years, this morning 08:44 a young man (Matt J) on register 16 HEB #26 iaw receipt ! when it came time to pay,he started instructing me, he pointed to a area, his Body language, tone of voice and facial expressions was very condescending demeanor, i was standing in same place when he started checking my products and had not moved until after i started to pay , he immediately called for his supervisor and told her i was "refusing to follow instructions" i tried to explain to her with no avail and seemed impatient to hear my side , she asked if i wanted her to continue i said yes, all i needed was to pay, she tried to rationalize his tone to the plexi glass barrier, obviously did not hear anything i had to say, i get it these are trying times, my thoughts are if you are in a "Customer service role" and having a bad day excuse yourself, also if you are going to rationalize his tone to the barrier consider the large population who are hearing impaired and place facial expressions, body language your tone voice of importance and can communicate either negative or positive message, so all went well until it was time to pay and i had not moved from where i had been standing, very disappointing read more

This HEB gets as low a review as possible. Three times I have been unhappy with their customer service - so I'm done. 1) The cashier advertised batteries (2 for 1) at $6.99. She lied. Each pack was over $10, and you had to mail in for a rebate. She refused to acknowledge that she had misled me. 2) I bought the HEB-brand half and half which was 3 months away from the expire date, only to have to return it in 24 hours because it was already bad! The cashier sent me to the back of the store to get another one, 3) The cashier forgot to bag my meat. I left with my groceries, got home and discovered I had paid for meat but didn't have any. Returned to the store to be told that "I forgot my meat", go to the meat counter and find it. It was no longer there, so I picked up a cheaper one. I asked the cashier whether she could do the refund. She called the manager and said a) I forgot my meat, b)the price difference was only 10 cents. (I was livid - it was $2 less!). The manager refunded me the money and apologized. But this is just too many problems. I'm banning HEB - no more shopping with them any more. read more
