What a lovely HEB! The store is large, the aisles are set out in an organized fashion and there are plenty of staff available to answer questions. It is clean and there is a large selection of products. They were running in-store specials and contests today, which contributed to a very fun atmosphere. Love HEB, and this was a great stop out of our normal neighborhood while out running errands. read more

Huge HEB, we'll stocked with fresh vegetables, fruits and groceries. You can find diverse items (Asian and other foods) here too although the brands may not be consistent. The bakery is great and our custom cake order was ready on time. read more

Stopped by H-E-B on Lakeline on a Saturday around 6 PM, and surprisingly, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a much more enjoyable shopping trip. We were planning to grill, so we picked up two beautiful ribeye steaks from the meat department. One of those steaks was so large it easily fed three people! We also stopped by the seafood counter and asked if they could steam some shrimp for us. The butcher helping us was happy to do it and told us it would take about 10-15 minutes. We finished the rest of our shopping, swung back by to pick up the shrimp, checked out, and headed home. Great selection, friendly service, and a smooth, stress-free experience. I do believe they charge for bags because even though it's on Lakeline, it's on the Austin side . YELP Austin Elite All Star Approved!! read more

I like this HEB. The produce department is well stocked with fresh products, and the floral department has lovely fresh flowers, flower displays and balloons. There's always a large display of seasonal plants in front of the store as well. These are the main reasons I've stopped in here, as this is not my main store. The store is also clean and every time I've interacted with an associate the interaction has been positive. read more

I love this HEB! To be clear, I love HEB as a whole. It's a great company and they treat their "partners" (employees) well. Not only have I worked there, but almost my whole family has or does. With that being said, this is one of the better stores! It's big enough to have a great selection. The wine guy is super helpful and willing to help you get a good deal on your fave wines even if he has to order them. Curbside pickup is super efficient. Only thing I would say is beware of letting them pick your produce. I'm pretty picky about produce, so I have high standards. But they are quick even if they are busy. All of the employees I've encountered at this location are friendly and helpful. They are well enough staffed to not have crazy long lines most days. But I don't go inside the store much anymore, so take that with a slight grain of salt. Parking is weird but ample. I'd shop at this HEB over Target or any other store any day of the week! read more

Whether I shop here during the day or at night, I always receive friendly service and consistently high quality. The store is clean, organized, and fully stocked. Their fresh products are flavorful and reliable, especially the fruits and vegetables. I love picking up produce here--green onions are noticeably cheaper than at H Mart, and the premium pineapples are incredibly sweet and juicy. It's clear they care about freshness. A fun bonus is the Pokémon card vending machine, which occasionally surprises shoppers with great drops. Overall, I genuinely enjoy shopping here. It's convenient, pleasant, and dependable. Highly recommended--come by and see for yourself. Cheers! This location truly sets the standard locally. read more

The lines are crazy!! Like 2 checkers working, a wrapped around line at self check. This is a huge store. It's not enough. You would think with the money HEB makes they could have employees working. read more

Grateful to live close to this HEB Plus location! Their produce is consistently fresh and they have a wider variety of fish + meat options than other locations. My daughter loves their sushi options, and their wide selection of ready-made meals are so helpful for busy weeknights. They also have a huge plant selection out front to meet your gardening needs - truly a one stop shop for your home essentials! The space is clean and spacious, and staff is always friendly and helpful. Remember to bring your own bags or you'll have to pay for their reusable ones at this location! read more

This specific location's garden selection is far superior to any other nursery, Home Depot/lowes, or plant store. The prices are WAY less (think clearance pricing at any other overpriced nursery ) the plants are better quality, they have a huge selection of thoughtfully chosen plants and you can tell the very helpful people that work there actually care. They even have a Facebook group which updates daily on what they got in that day. Thank you for keeping gardening affordable and fun!! read more

I've been spoiled by this HEB. I've never noticed how big this location was until going to others. Now, I wonder why aren't the HEBs as massive as this one?? SUSHI: Though people rave about HEB's sushi, I wish they offered more raw rolls instead of repeating the same spicy salmon/tuna, imitation crab, &/or tempura shrimp options. Pro tip: check the timestamp on the sushi for the freshest rolls GAS: Gas is always the cheapest in the area, make sure to fill up before you leave! PLANTS: They really pride themselves on their nursery, including having its own Facebook page to share updates. Would suggest for all plant moms out there! read more

Starting fresh in 2026, we are done with this place. Their curbside pickup is a shitshow. It is not only inefficient, it is ineffective. They pack things wrong, they bring defective products, and they deliver wrong items. Quality control does not exist. Contrast this with Walmart and Target who are quick, accurate, and consistent. The choice is simple. Good riddance. read more

This supermarket only in Texas. I wish they have this supermarket in Florida. H-E-B has different size. Any facility has a word plus is bigger in size also carry more goods. The meal sampler is place front side of deli to allow customers have ready meal for the day. So you not to worry about what you decided just pick their chef prepare meal. The choice of goods has many varieties. I like the most about the H-E-B is their price is very affordable. I hope it happen in Florida read more

I love H-E-B! I am a big fan of their fresh soups. I picked up a large to go soup but when I got to work, I had to clean my entire car console out because the soup container was so weak that it disintegrated and the soup flooded my cupholders. I recommend getting a stronger to go container. I was really excited to eat it for lunch today! Chicken noodle is my favorite. read more

If groceries are late for curbside = ok, things happen. But should give an option to pick up late or the next morning vs all of us showing up at the same time. I waited over 30 mins inthe polite lines in the parking lot before entering where I can wait to park for groceries. 1.5 hours later got my groceries. also would be nice of restrooms nearby but first time we've needed to use some waiting. People were coming up wrong ways of lanes to skip the traffic. Security says they can't direct traffic. So many of us just sat in the lines so others just skipped them driving wrong way and against traffic. Just to cut everyone off. Some got chastised And heckled by some of us. Others didnt care. Blew my mind security could do nothing!?! Lucky didn't turn into fights. If given the chance I'd choose pick up groceries in the morning Vs sit through that chaos when people showed their asses cutting people off because they had to be inconvenienced. People suck. I told the staff repeatedly I appreciate their efforts. They had to feel the stress. Security was lame for not directing cars. People suck for not waiting in line. read more

Pretty much all HEBs deserve top marks against other grocery store chains. However, some HEBs are better than others, but thankfully this is a good one! They're all fun to browse clean, and inviting. This location is no different. Staff is always helpful and you'll never have trouble finding a service member if you need help. On weekends you'll find great samples that will encourage you to buy more than you came for. The products are generally fresh and setup tidy. The organization makes clear sense and the huge signs above different aisles really help. Parking here is pretty easy but it's on a very busy intersection so expect massive weekend crowds. read more

One of my favorite HEBs in Austin (technically Cedar Park). The location is huge and they have a big variety of products to match. The employees are always nice & chipper too. My only qualm is that the self checkout always has technical issues. If they can fix that, they'd be a perfect 10. read more

This H-E-B is one of the larger ones and has been around for quite a while, even as some neighboring stores have come and gone. The front area is nicely kept with potted plants, and they offer tobacco products if you ask. The atmosphere inside is lively and familiar, which I really like. However, the service often feels rushed, and at times, the manager comes across as unfriendly. Customer service doesn't always seem to be a priority here, and I've had a few experiences where the staff seemed less than welcoming--maybe just a few poor hires. Because of that, I can't give it a full four stars, even though I'd really like to. The store has a solid selection of ready-made meals near the right entrance--about what you'd expect from H-E-B. It's in a great, convenient location with a gas station nearby, but the parking lot can be a hassle. It gets very busy, and navigating it can be tight and tricky. There's also been some odd or confusing construction around the area, which has made getting in and out harder at times--though that's not the store's fault, it still affects the experience. Despite some drawbacks, I enjoy shopping here and plan to continue doing so. Friends and roommates of mine have also gone there regularly and loved the food. Overall, it's a reliable place I'll keep coming back to, even if it doesn't quite earn a four-star rating from me just yet. read more

I enjoy this H‑E‑B. I don't come here AS often because I live right in the middle of 620 between the anderson mill H‑E‑B and the 4 points H‑E‑B so I have those to choose from first. But when I'm running around doing errands and closer to lakeline, I prefer this one. It's huge and has things that my other local HEBs do not. The gas is at the end of the parking lot on the other side of the entrance. The location of the gas can sometimes be tough to get to because there's an exit right there and there's a lot of moving traffic. There's very ample parking stretching as far as the eye can see. This location is always bustling with people because it's in a little strip area that has lots of other businesses and restaurants. read more

Is there anything you can say bad about H-E-B? It's the go to grocery store as far as we're concerned. One of the best things about having moved to San Antonio and now Austin is H-E-B. We would not shop any place else. There's a few items that we like that we haven't been able to find there, but we're learning how to shift around after 10 years. The 183 is laid out well friendly and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. HEB is the best grocery store around. read more

I love this store ... I am not in love with the other customers. Let's be honest, don't be in a hurry when you go shopping here. There will be indecisive shoppers on their phone in your way constantly. My only complaint is that they took away their baskets. I asked why and an employee said, "Oh, people kept stealing them." I call BS on that. I've been to other HEBs and they still have baskets. I used to be able to Mario Kart my way through the isles and be in and out, but now I have to grab a cart and wait behind these useless potatoes who haven't ever been in public before and think that this is the appropriate place to check their social media. BRING BACK THE BASKETS! read more

A fantastic beer selection! A whole isle of coolers full of liquid golden/dark joy in short, tall, fat, skinny, bottles or cans. Sold by the 4pk, 6pk, 12pk, 30pk, or even individually. This HEB has a selection of happiness in a bottle that is second to none... oh and they have groceries too. There was such a great selection I couldn't make up my mind. I would open a cooler, pull out a selection and then put it back because there was another one I thought about instead. Usually, in most places, I am lucky to find one porter or a stout... but there was no less then 8 or more here! I was in dark beer nirvana! Then I turned the corner and saw the "by the bottle... create your own 6pk" selections... I died on the spot. Someone had to come and resuscitate me and as soon as I was breathing again I was up building my 6 pack. Several porters and stouts to choose from... heaven.. I'm in heaven... and my heart beats so hard I can hardly speak... I'll be back!! Keep up the selection! read more

I feel like I'm in the HEB commercial when I talk about my HEB because I love it so much. All my friends tease me for constantly finding a need to make a trip. On today's particular visit I have to give a big kudos to two team members who I feel went above and beyond. I was in the store a few days prior and saw pokemon gift packs so I went back specifically looking for those packs. I couldn't find them and as I was checking out I asked the cashier Luis about them. He responded, "I know exactly what you are talking about but since we are remodeling that area they were moved, but I will find out". I told him it wasn't a big deal but he insisted and flagged down Michale to help. Michale said the same thing, looked up the items I was looking for, and went to the back to fund them! These two team members going above and beyond helped me tremendously in the long run and this is just one of the many reasons why HEB is hands down the best grocery store. I grew up in Texas and have always had the opportunity to shop at these stores. When I am out of state and have to visit other grocery stores I am always judging because no one can compete. read more

This is a decent HEB. I have to give kudos to the the staff, who are by and large helpful and attentive. Most departments are well stocked and organized. For some reason, this outlet is particularly well equipped in the hardware area and I've used them to find store-brand bulbs and batteries more than once. There are mainly two annoyances here. 1) Their parking lot is particularly crowded and convoluted, in part due to the landscaping and their location near a lot of apartment complexes. There's a lot of choke points near the store where you can get stuck. 2) Their deli section is consistently slow, slow, slow and completely unfazed by having multiple people stacked up and waiting. That said, still a pleasantly run HEB on the whole, worth a visit especially if you need light bulbs and not deli-sliced pastrami. read more

I used to enjoy grocery shopping at this store but not anymore. There have been several times now where the products are not lasting and getting spoiled really fast, even when properly stored. My shopping routine is to buy perishable at the very end, my trips are always from the store to home immediately to place anything perishable products in the fridge as soon as possible. Even with all these precautions lately, I've had to throw away sealed packaged lettuce that has rotten all the way in the middle and can't be seen from the outside, crab-cakes that got spoiled when cooked (I was told this is due they were about to spoil and the heat accelerated the process), and just recently I bought a package of goat cheese that when opened on the second day of being bought and with expiration date of 12/26/20 this is what I found...over $3 thrown straight to garbage. I have decided to buy the bare minimum of my groceries and have resorted to buy the rest at the surroundings stores (like Target & H-Mart) where I've realized products are fresher, even when I've had to pay a little extra it's been actually worth it. read more

Only decent H-E-B in the area. Easily the best meat department. Even have a woman working there, who is an absolute gem! I support this location needing to pass two terrible H-E-B's along the way. As good as this location is, I have two issues I'm not happy about. The grass fed beef does not taste like grass fed. It has very little flavor actually and is tougher than the prime beef they also sell. Secondly, the sirloin steaks no longer have the cap on them. Shame! Finally, stop charging us for grocery bags. It's an obvious cash grab. If it wasn't, you'd provide a return desk for getting our bag deposits back. read more

Did a curbside and got moldy turmeric root and a bag of grapes partially eaten. Then it was a 40 minute wait time to talk to somebody for a refund. We switched from the H‑E‑B on Parmer because of quality issues and this location seems no different. Are they even training their teams to check for quality or does it not matter since it's a curbside? ***Update hours later: One bag of cheese that had been cut open with a box cutter right across the belly of the bag, and another package of fruit that had been opened prior to us eating them. My estimate is that we've had to throw away about $20 of food due to negligence. read more

My favorite H‑E‑B! Ever since Scan/Go came out and this one of the few HEB's that has it, it's very easy to use! I tried it on a less busy day since it was my first time Nov 2018, you just download the H‑E‑B Go app, set up your account, payment info, then open the app when you get into the store. I get all my stuff ready, my bags open and available and just scan your item barcode, put it in your bag. I make sure it fully loads, it may take 5 secs but I have had issues but nothing too bad. Then you hit checkout, go to the kiosk scan your code and pay. You can use coupons here too! All the cashiers are friendly and the managers as well. I go there a lot so I see them weekly. hi!!! I just love the selection here and the friendly staff! The only thing I wish is if the employees doing curbside they didn't leave that big bulky cart in the way, like I've had to go all way around them as they just left it in a main isle. They can be quite inconsiderate especially for us that do our own shopping and others that are disabled, they just need to move out of the way and watch their surroundings that would be ideal. read more
