One of the shops at Westfield Fashion Square. When I am in the mall, I mostly check this out because of the fashionable styles, look and deals that are available. I purchased some outfits for my Goddaughter for her birthday. She loved the look and was very thankful. Yay!!! Recently, I stopped by looking for some dresses for my upcoming trip. I tried a few that are on clearance and some on the regular price but they weren't as good as I expected. Well, off to my quest of finding a good summer dress. I stopped by this H&M store inside Westfield Sherman Oaks this morning. I came when they just open so it wasn't busy at all after Black Friday. I never walked inside this H&M location before so I didn't know they have a women entrance and the men area entrance is further down. But if you walked into the women H&M entrancex, there are signs to tell you where the men area is. I like wearing their Easy Iron, Slim fit dress shirts here but the price did go up on them. I also like H&M conscious shirts that are now labeled as Dry mode shirt but they usually only sell them online. When I visited this store, the employees were really nice and asked if I needed any help. I told them I was just browsing so they let me be. They have some nice sales going on but so far nothing grabbed my interest. read more

Gabriella and that skinny gay guy didnt wanna take back my return stating that it was worn. he claimed the shirt had more wrinkles then when i bought it. even though i bought it just like that. I went to the original location of purchase at FIGat7th in DTLA to initiate the return. There is NO POLICY on returns being contingent based on the price tag being attached. Nor did they have to confirm my purchase was sold as is through cameras. They accepted my return within the 30-day policy of unworn merchandise. I don't remember if I shopped at this location before but since I was in the mall, I thought I should check it out. Big location, decent prices, the store was a bit low on merchandise after the holidays which is to be expected. I will stop by again, since it is a big store and I shop at this chain sometimes. This place has the worst service and employees are very unprofessional. I was standing in line being the next person to be at the register. Some lady just cane directly to the register and the employee just helped her. She didn't even ask her if she was in line when she clearly sees people in line waiting. When she was done with the lady who cut me off, I went to the register and told her that she just cut and everyone here has been waiting for a very long time. She just gave me a smirk and just said 'really?' No apologies and no acknowledgement. I was so stunned and mad that I just left without going further to complain. I see why the other reviews are so bad! I came in to EXCHANGE 5 items and the staff told me they couldn't help me look for the items I needed to exchange. I was on a time crunch so after 10 mins of browsing I asked for help. They told me none of the items were in stock at that location. Why not tell me this from the beginning? I asked if we could order it since I really liked the items and they simply said no. No explanation. They then stated one of my items could not be returned or exchanged because the tag wasn't attached. I ended up returning everything and calling customer service and they told me that it's not even their policy that the tag should be attached and allowed me to return it at my nearest USPS. I went to this location yesterday. While i was waiting in line I saw one of the staff talking with the customer they were ringing up. They were smiling and overall friendly. I was next. I waited until Marcell looked up and said next. Immediately his attitude changed. All I had said was hello. He rolled his eyes and then wouldn't look up. I'm not sure he said another word. It was like I ruined his day by shopping there. It was the most off putting experience. It was the first bad experience I've had at that location. Not sure what happened to this location lately but it's not a store I enjoy visiting anymore. It's messy and the sales team seem to be more interested in ignoring customers rather than actually assisting. The manager is also not there to provide customer service at all, and honestly has a bit of a condescending way speaking to some customers. Spent 20 minutes browsing. Was ready to try on 3 items at 6:40pm. But staff wouldn't allow it. They were closed because it's Sunday. Ummm, your hours say you're open until 7pm. I won't buy clothes without trying them on due to inconsistent sizing in women's clothing. I wasn't the only person who wanted a fitting room. If I could give it zero stars I would. The Manager (Ashely) refused to take back my online returns because it would "hurt the quota" for her store. She said that she wouldn't take back anything over $50. I had all my receipts (3 separate orders") and am a HM member. She finally agreed to process 1 return and said I could go to another store to return the others. As if that's convenient? She showed me on her in-store receipt language that she could refuse to return "excessive" returns. $50 is excessive? Not to mention that the vague language is only on in-store receipts and is not posted in the online return language. I will be making a complaint to corporate. read more

I tried to return an item with a receipt that says after 30 days I could get store credit and he refused to give it to me even tho he read the receipt for himself. He said they just "don't do that". I saw a top on a manequin and was immediately excited that I found the one top I'd need for work that very evening. I looked everywhere. But the only size for me was the one on the manequin. Can you believe it? The manager wouldn't sell it to me arguing they really need to keep that one on because it was the style they were featuring. If I could, I would give them zero stars! Customer service at this location is awful! Two managers wouldn't let my daughter make a return with the original receipt, original credit card, and my ID. I was home sick and had my daughter do the return for me. They denied her the first time because she didn't have my ID. She went a second time and they told her to go to Glendale because that's where items were purchased originally. They also said that they can't make the return because the credit card and ID were not here and it's state law. They were extremely rude and unprofessional!! When I called corporate to ask what the policy was, this was completely false. Corporate informed me that CA law is the original credit card and ID, doesn't need to be the original customer. The store manager told corporate that the reason they denied her was because the credit card didn't match the receipt. Another lie. When she went back in for a third time , on the phone with corporate to inform the staff appropriately, they still denied the return and with a snarky and aggressive tone, told her their policy is only a $100 return and that's the best they can do. Overall, I feel it is unsafe for customers to visit in this store, I feel worried for my daughters safety in this store as these staff members are abrasive, rude, uneducated in store and state policy and quite antagonistic towards their customers. Went in today with my daughter. We spent $200 on clothes for her. While there trying on clothes she lost a new bracelet we had just purchased elsewhere. I asked the cashier who looked around his area and said, "No. we don't have it". I called later to see if anyone returned it. The woman on the line said she would call the store. She came back on the line and said no one answered was there anything else I needed help with? Yes. I'll tell you what I'd like help with. I'd like to understand how these shop workers can be so dismissive and uncaring. Look it's a little bracelet of not much consequence but it meant a lot to my 8 year old. This H&M is good, has most the clothes you want, but giving it 1 star cause this place can be packed and they only have 1 open register. This is by far the worst H&M I've ever been too! Employees are always gossiping each other and saying disrespectful things and saying disgusting things to each other. On top of that! I purchased am item here today. There was one customer before me, a young man and the woman associate was friendly and providing good customer service. Silly me. Her smile stopped as soon as the customer left. I greeted the associate and received a grunt in return. I saw her look over my shoulder and smile. There was another young man behind me. She threw my purchase in a bag and (no thank you). She was already calling the next customer forward. While walking away, I realized she did not give me a sales receipt, and asked for it. She did condescend to give me a receipt. Lesson learned. Never check out with this associate. She does not want yo "waste time" waiting on women. I always have trouble finding someone to help, which is fine, I get it, it's just retail. However, today just pissed me off. I went to the register to make a return and I had some items returned with a receipt and some without a receipt. I was therefore credited back money to both my credit card and a gift card. I also wanted to make a purchase. The cashier used the credit going to my credit card to buy my new items. After everything was done, I asked nicely if I could instead use the gift card to make the purchase instead so that my credit card could get the full amount of money. Confusing when I type it out, but it is really a very simple request. His persona completely changed and he started giving me attitude, telling me that I should've told him earlier (he should've known already), and that it's not that easy (which it is). He proceeded to call his manager over, saying to him "I just feel that somehow we're giving him extra money", his tone of voice making me feel like some shady criminal (and I'm sure the manager felt the tension). After, he stuffed my clothes into the tiny bag, no folding whatsoever, completely ignored me when I said thank you and after some awkward silence just yelled "next in line." Store open up promptly at 10 am to not being greeted by whom ever the woman was opening. Terrible service. I came in today with my girlfriend & son. I was not greeted or approached at any time in the store. The layout was cluttered and the clothes looked messy. I was searching for an employee and finally found one with a man bun on his head and a walkie talkie on his hip. He was visably annoyed that I approached him and asked if he worked there. When I inquired for the boys clothing, he waved his hand abstractly and said with a sigh "over there" then quickly walked away as if I was going to infect him. There's almost always a sale at almost any given time and the associates are really nice! Busy on the weekends but still very manageable and the lines, though visually long, are quick. I wanted a specific item for a trip I'm taking, and she was able to direct me to the very last one it stock (and it was the right size, phewf!). She was an absolute dream from the beginning of our interaction and put a smile on my face. Thank you!! As for the long lines - as I headed to the checkout, I was ensnared by the shoe wall and this is what I witnessed: There was one register open and no line. Then one person. Then five people immediately came to the line within 15 seconds and started complaining about the wait without the cashiers having a second to adjust. You're in HM, not someone with a personal shopper at Nordstroms - get over yourselves.
