Spaghetti and Meatballs cake. Beautiful and delicious!
    Phil B.

We have had some cupcakes and now a cake from Gwendolyn Lee. The cake was in the shape of a pot of spaghetti and meatballs for our God Sons 19th Birthday. The cake itself was beautiful. This cake inside was moist and delicious. Our God Son happened to pick one of my favorite cake flavors without knowing ALMOND. I love almond extract in cakes and buttercream but some places can be heavy handed. This was the perfect amount. Beautiful cake and he was so happy. I think his Mom was even happier then he was and excited about the cake. We got hot chocolate bombs from our friends for christmas. I they were really good too.

Absolutely AMAZING work. They have amazing cakes/cupcakes with unique flavors. I got my graduation cake from them and was absolutely BLOWN away with the end result. They created a beautiful cake for me and I am beyond happy that I chose them for my special occasion!

a blue vw bus and some cookies

I was absolutely in love with the cookies I got from here!! I had just looked up a good place for custom cookies and this bakery popped up so I thought I would try it and I couldn't have been happier :)) They made the cutest "baby on board" themed cookies for a baby shower I had to host. They were very responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely use again for future bakery needs!!

The online ordering process was simple and straightforward, and I was able to provide detailed instructions along with reference images. The cake turned out absolutely amazing. It was chocolate and vanilla with no filling, and everything came together beautifully. The final result looked incredible, and it tasted just as good as it looked. For a fully custom cake of this size and detail, it was also very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise. Pickup was smooth and stress-free. The service was excellent the two cashiers were friendly, and we only waited a few seconds while they grabbed the cake, showed it to us, and boxed it up securely for transport. While we were there, we also tried a few of the goodies in the shop, and those were amazing as well. Huge shout-out to the baker who made this cake, she absolutely slayed it. I would highly recommend them for custom cakes and special occasions.

We had a pickup on Saturday and it was SO busy (seems everyone knows how delicious their stuff is!), but even in the chaos of a busy shop, all the employees were friendly and efficient. Our gluten free confetti cake pops were SO pretty and tasty, they were a big hit at our party. We picked up a few cupcakes (almond, YUM) and fancy decorated cookies too out of the case. Sometimes, I find I don't care for the taste of the fancy decorated cookies at most places, but these were not only beautiful, they were really good! Highly recommend for a special occasion, or heck just to pick up a sweet treat out of the case.

I love this because it is a way to support other local business and find new places to go to. The presentation of the 4pk cupcakes was amazing and thy looked yummy. My daughter started one first and loved it u til she found an edible ball of some sort lol said it tasted like coffee, I'm not sure. I tried the white iced one and the icing and cupcake were good, different but tasted pretty good. My son had the all chocolate one and said it was coo(he's 17 ) For my family personally this isn't really our preference but I know many people absolutely love it and that's amazing. We had no clue what each cupcake was so maybe future when ordered though the app they could write on the box what each is considering they are boxed when we pickup so we don't know. And that would be helpful.

Everything down to the finest details about our lunch was so wonderful, that it's hard to narrow down for brevity. The setting, the decor, the exceptional service, the food and the tea and their presentation...perfect. So lovely. A few of us have food allergies, and they were easily accommodated for. They have a nice selection of gluten free options, and what we sampled was delicious. The girls were all so tickled with their Princess Tea lunch. They received crowns, and we couldn't help but notice that each girl received a color that matched their outfit. Having a selection of finger sandwiches and little sweet treats thrilled them just as much as having pots of tea to sample from their pretty little teacups. Even the smallest details were tended to. We enjoyed it so much, we quickly agreed to making this a regular girl date spot.

My daughter is on a gluten free diet and seeing no GF offerings on the menu she ate before we went but joined us for the experience. Our reservation was for 12:30. We were seated within a few minutes. Our waitress, Ashlyn, arrived and introduced herself, promising to be back soon. 30 minutes later she returned and asked if we would like water. We said water and menus would be nice. 30 minutes later she brought a carafe of water and the menus. We had plenty of time to discuss the menu. When she returned she sat down in our extra chair and talked about the selections and made suggestions for us. Then told us to think about what we wanted and she would be back. 30 minutes later she returned and asked if we knew what we wanted. My sister told her we would like to order now. My granddaughters and I ordered the petite tea, consisting of a cup of soup, sandwich, scones and sweet treats, and tea. We all chose the baked potato soup, sweet and spicy turkey croissant, and vanilla almond tea - all served on a tiered tray. My GF daughter ordered a cup of tea. My sister ordered separately. Our tea pot was delivered and we waited for our order. Our waitress appeared 30 minutes later and asked if we needed anything. My sister said yes, we would like our orders. Our waitress apologized for the wait and said there was a mix up in orders in the kitchen. She reminded us that she did not prepare the food, just served it. Our food finally arrived. The cup of soup is literally a tea cup of soup and while it was delicious, it was 3 teaspoons of soup - which we used the same spoons we used for our tea as there were no soup spoons. The turkey croissant was grilled and flavorful, also 3 bites. The tea was now cold but the sweets were very tasty. When our waitress reappeared, she apologized for the long wait and offered to take half off my daughter's tea and noted that we would also save the tax that would be charged on the $5.00 tea. My sister told her that was not acceptable, that she thought half off the entire table was customary in the restaurant world, keeping in mind we have been there over 3 hours. The waitress said she would talk to the manager, then came back and asked us to meet the manager at the register. We ended up receiving half off the entire bill and there was half off for my daughter's tea. 3 stars for adjusting the bill and for the delicious food, that's 2 stars less than my previous glowing review for making my granddaughters first "tea room" experience less than stellar.

I wasn't sure how things would turn out but they blew my expectations out of the water. And everything was so delicious, my guests are still raving about it. The only negatives throughout the whole process came in the communication. I think since they are fairly small it's hard to be in constant communication. Goody2Treats is a bakery that seems to have a strong emphasis on cupcakes along with such goodies as cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered strawberries, cake pops, chocolate covered oreos, bundt cakes and a whole lot more. | They're nestled in this strip center right next to Indy Burger Joint. It's a relatively small storefront. It's simply but attractively decorated and the employee I met was super friendly. I ordered a Oreo Chocolate Cupcake. It was a jumbo cupcake that came in at $7, though they do have a variety of prices and you can definitely satisfy your sweet tooth here quite reasonably. I actually took the cupcake next door as I had planned to have dinner at Indy Burger Joint. It was quite delicious and I would easily order it again. Goody2Treats also offers classes and catering. As a fun fact, they're also getting ready to open up a spot inside Castleton Square Mall's Food Court. This neighborhood really needed something like this and Goody2Treats will hopefully find the love it deserves. I believe I'm correct in saying this is a locally owned, Black owned business This strip center is relatively new with pretty strong accessibility including appropriate parking spots and ramps. The door is a one-sided glass door that I found pretty workable. The interior is wheelchair friendly including a couple table options if you want to eat your item in-house. While I'm not quite ready to fork over the 5th star yet, Goody2Treats is close and I wouldn't be surprised if I do so eventually. With tasty treats and friendly employees, Goody2Treats is a welcome addition to this neighborhood and I look forward to returning in the near future.
