Prices are pretty good too. I wish a spot like this existed near my college. My sibling also tried their chicken pastrami sandwich and though it was a bit pricier than their bagels, it was enough for a whole meal. It wasn't too long of a wait for orders. The sandwich was packed with roast beef, between two buttered, grilled slices of rye bread. The Rubin and small coffee came to $15 and change. The aisle shelves are packed with packaged food at going prices, which is to say, a bit inflated. Candy bars, for instance, are about $2.00 each; small bags of various chips are about $2.89, give or take. The sandwich would have been best eaten in a small park outside next to the Deli--by the time I got across town on the bus and reheated it--the bread was soggy from the meat, sauce, and sauerkraut. Even so, it was delicious. The cook gave me my money's worth and an enjoyable meal. I also appreciated the decaf, which tasted like real coffee freshly made, aeromatic and rich, not like the pot of coffee slowly drying out on the office hotplate.
