Not so good: Don't follow up when the car work is "done" or things change - you have to call and check on the status of the work. Don't offer ride or rental for longer repairs. They seem to quickly lose interest in you if you come back for more work needed to fix things if the initial work didn't address the issues.

The people at cleggs treated me with such respect and professionalism even though I made the decision to junk the car. They took their time diagnosing the issue, held my car for a week while I was out of town for business and when I left, they didn't charge me anything for their time. Love these guys. That said I have used them in the past and they did a great job for a fair price. I think it's important to remember when choosing a mechanic that they are typically burdened with giving bad news about your car. This reality often leaves the consumer feeling badly towards those giving the news, which often makes one not trust the messenger. Cleggs rises above and beyond when it comes to that delicate relationship and they will have my business forever. They really are fantastic. I would give them 10 stars if I could !! Thanks again Kyle and the entire staff for being so great to work with.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM…read more My parents purchased a vehicle from TAG, and the experience has been an absolute nightmare from the very beginning. The best way I can describe the people running this place is that they operate like a real-life version of Harry Wormwood from Matilda--the sleazy used-car salesman flipping junk cars and hoping no one notices. TAG sold my parents a vehicle while failing to disclose serious issues they clearly knew about. They briefly flashed a report that my parents even had to pay for, but after the sale they conveniently never provided the electronic copy until we repeatedly asked and pushed for it. They mentioned replacing the windshield, yet somehow "forgot" to mention that the ENTIRE ENGINE had been replaced with a salvaged engine, essentially turning this vehicle into a salvage situation. The car didn't even make it home before mechanical problems started. When my parents tried to work with TAG about the issues, the staff became accusatory and acted as if my parents were already aware of these problems. That's absurd--if they had known about a salvaged engine and the mechanical mess that came with it, they obviously never would have bought the car in the first place. At one point TAG even suggested they would cover a $250 repair deductible only if we removed our Google reviews, which felt like a blatant attempt to buy our silence. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how they operate. Since purchasing the car, my parents have only actually been able to drive it for a few days. The rest of the time it has been sitting in repair shops. At one point the rearview mirror literally fell off because it appeared to be glued on with some kind of epoxy instead of proper adhesive--something that looked like it came straight out of a backyard repair kit. The engine has thrown codes repeatedly, and eventually our repair shop had to pull the entire engine out of the vehicle just to replace the oil pan and oil pump--basic things that should have been addressed when the engine was first swapped. That repair alone cost nearly $4,000. Between the multiple repairs and constant problems, my parents have now spent thousands of dollars fixing a car they just bought and barely get to drive. At this point, I wouldn't trust these people to fix me a bowl of cereal--much less a vehicle. Between the undisclosed salvaged engine, the constant mechanical failures, the sloppy repairs, and the attempt to pressure us into removing honest reviews, the entire experience has felt shady, dishonest, and incredibly unprofessional. I strongly recommend taking your business somewhere else.

Do Not Trust Torres Automotive Group - Empty Promises and Dangerous Negligence. Zero stars would…read morebe the most honest rating I could leave. We purchased a 2023 Hyundai Sonata from TAGG's Orem location in February, and what followed was an absolute nightmare--both mechanically and customer-service-wise. Their website is filled with promises of transparency, top-quality inspections, and customer-first values. In reality, those claims could not be further from the truth. The salesperson proudly touted a "200-point inspection" and showed us a clean Carfax. The car looked great and drove fine during the short test drive, so we trusted them. Big mistake. Within hours of freeway driving to California, we heard a loud noise from the front end. We pulled over and found the rock shield had been taped on with duct tape--an obvious red flag for a vehicle that supposedly passed a rigorous inspection. The real danger came when a mechanic in Los Angeles found the front brake calipers were not properly attached and the front brakes were essentially non-functional. We paid out of pocket for this critical repair, only to find more serious issues later: the struts were damaged, vital suspension components were missing, and the vehicle showed clear signs of a major accident--one that had obviously been repaired poorly and without disclosure. Despite repeated calls to the dealership, no one ever called us back. Not once. TAGG's so-called commitment to "exceptional customer service" and "peace of mind" is nothing but marketing fluff. Either their 200-point inspection is a complete sham, or they deliberately sold us an unsafe vehicle and hoped we wouldn't notice. Their use of a clean Carfax is misleading--any accident not reported to insurance won't show up, and clearly this one didn't. But any competent inspection should have revealed the mechanical and structural issues we found. If they missed those, then TAGG is either dangerously negligent or willfully deceitful. We've now spent nearly $2,000 correcting their failures, and TAGG refuses to even acknowledge the problem. If you're considering buying from them, don't. Have your own mechanic do a full inspection before signing anything, and seriously consider shopping elsewhere. Our mistake could have cost us our lives--let it save you instead.
