We called and they said come back for a replacement order. We live close by, so no problem at all. They couldn't apologize enough! I can't actually rate this place since I've never been. I really would like to try it, but their health rating has me really concerned. It looks like they haven't been checked in nine months. Maybe things have changed for the better, but I can't justify going. It's not even a solid B rating. Bad enough that one violation is poor management knowledge. No way the employees can be expected to do the right thing if the manager is unsure. The other violations being temperature control is not good also. That can be very sickening to people. read more

I ordered my food and when I got to the window to pay she wouldn't take my $20 bill, and said they don't accept cash. I asked her why and she said it's because another location got robbed over a year ago. This is America and cash is American currency. It's a shame that I couldn't even give you my money. Hey Guys, Wanted to let you know about this place. We have not went in and set down. Drive thru only so far. The service has been great. The menu takes a minute to figure out but once you do it's easy and very user friendly. Staff seems to care about what they are handing you out the window. Not for me. I ordered the wrap with grilled chicken because I don't like brown rice but did not realize that they still put brown rice in the wrap. Personally, I prefer quinoa over rice and it would have been nice if quinoa was an option on the menu. I took one bite and balled up the rest and put it back in the bag. The wrap just had too many ingredients and textures that just did not make sense together and the overall flavor was lacking. I recently had my first meal at gusto! in Buford. It was lunch, and my friends and I all enjoyed it. We were helped by several nice people; Jan stood out for me. She was helpful with the menu, and showed me how the ingredients for the bowls worked, so I could be sure it was made up to my preference. Getting ordered and checked out was a quick process, and the food was basically prepared by the time I paid the cashier. The dining area was clean, and while we ate, we were approached a couple of times by an employee to be sure we didn't need a sauce, condiment or anything else. I love this place for healthy bowl options and delicious flavors. I was attracted by their logo, which is a salad bowl. I went in, and I was pleasantly surprised by their choices. First it is new and clean. Absolutely agree the portion sizes are small. BUT they are illegal in how they transact for they do NOT accept cash. Please be cautious and if you have any concerns contact law enforcement. Since they don't accept cash they should offer you the food for free. The staff was nice in how they handled it. I first visited Gusto Buford in their early days, and it was so so good. The employees all had that squeaky-clean enthusiasm of opening a new restaurant, totally buying into the culture, etc. That overzealous enthusiasm might annoy me, but here it was charming. The person who took my order that first time seemed to genuinely care about recommending something I'd enjoy. Spoiler alert... I enjoy all of it! I've since returned 2-3 additional times and it's always fast, tasty, and just easy. It's easy to order, easy to eat, easy to just enjoy it. No complaints... Huge fan. read more

For starters; the functionality of the website gave us a great start to our experience. The site provided us all the tools to place an order, find directions and hours. Additionally, it was clear and organized, making the experience simple. Once at the store, it was clean and bright. I am always on the lookout for healthful family meal options that I can pick up on my way home from work, on nights where I know I won't have time to cook. So I was very excited to see a family meal on Gusto's menu and gave it a try last week. We got the 1/2 greens & 1/2 brown rice base with the umami tofu and chipotle mango avocado dressing. I also ordered 2 extra protein pints of the spicy grilled chicken for the meat eaters in my family, as well as a pint of queso to win over any haters (ahem, my 11 year old). It was a lot of food, enough for 5 hungry people that night (including 2 teens who eat a lot) and leftovers the next day to take to work for lunch. Everything was flavorful and fresh and this will now be my go-to when I need a dinner option for my family.
