The food, service, and the ambience was what we have grown to expect from Cuts Steakhouse. We sat in the bar for about 20 minutes prior to our reservation and our friends arriving. Lala and Destiny took great care of us. When our guests arrived the hostess seated us promptly. They were very nice and what you would expect at a Steakhouse. Our waitresses name was not known, so Team 3 is what it was on our receipt. There were 6 of us at the table for the evening. We ordered a shrimp cocktail, it was good. Next she had the iron seared salmon loin, and she added the side of carrots. I had the 8oz Filet mignon with a baked potato. Both our entrees were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. When the check came it was a slight issue as we asked for each couple to get their own check, they relented in the end and as a compromise I guess a 20% gratuity was automatically added to each of the 3 checks. I've been waiting to give Cuts a try. The ambiance is beautiful. The service was very attentive. The steaks were cooked to temp and on the whole we had a very serviceable evening. Our server Nicole started out okay but then it took 25 minutes for her to come back with a wine list and the manager Johnathan came out and noticed our wine glasses were empty and filled them up quickly. Became a regular here the last few months. Ask for the main room dining booths for quality seating. Service here is phenomenal to start, and they take care of you. I would order chefs cut and ask for the showing--personal favorite is the large Tomahawk. Their steak sides of bernaise, Hollander and chimichurri are much needed for flavor enhancers. For appetizers and sides, get the truffle fries and their fried tomatoes. Dessert is mid and once you get served the service slows down. Lobster is not good, so I avoid that now. I think Thi's is going to be my new steakhouse spot. Happy to see Gwinnett got a nice one and I no longer need to drive all the way to in the perimeter to get some good eats. Service was wonderful - everyone from the hostess to the managers were friendly. They check on you often and seem like they genuinely are happy to see you dining with them. Ambiance is not loud at all, even with the room I was in being completely full. It definitely looks new but is a good mix of an old school steakhouse with modern decor. The food - wow. Star of the show was the ceviche. We didn't expect much from it but it was SO refreshing and the fish had just enough bounce to it. I could drown in the creamy sauce it came with. The cuts ribeye is a ribeye marinated in a tropical sauce - makes for a very sweet steak but we didn't mind that at all. The meat was tender as could be with just enough fat left on for flavor. The steak bites were a great starter, especially since Thi's was our first time and we wanted to try their meat quality. That is the reason why we went on to order an actual cut of steak. The chimichurri it came with is also phenomenal - citrus flavor comes through with all the herbs. The carpaccio - stunning. The truffle is actually shaved on yet not overpowering at all. The soft meat combined with the bite of the arugula paired wonderfully. The crab cake was a little misleading. It's plural on the menu but you definitely only get a singular crab cake so that was a bit disappointing but the cake itself was delicious. Not much filler, if any at all. Crab was sweet and not fishy. I dipped it with the ceviche sauce and I think that's a nice hack if you end up loving the ceviche sauce as I did. Will be coming back. Went here for our Valentines dinner, I love the atmosphere! It's beautifully decorated and has a cozy lounge area with 2 large fireplaces. Cuts Steakhouse was definitely a vibe. We made reservations for 3p on Mother's Day, but we were slightly turned off by the front staff. They made us wait while they sat a family of 5 and another couple and we couldn't understand why they kept bypassing us. The rose they provided was a nice touch. The atmosphere is wonderful, it is truly a good steakhouse, menu was great, and our waitress was good and knowledgeable. The sides were really good but I've honestly had better steak. The Picahna was too chewy for it to be medium and the cowgirl ribeye was too well done for it to be a medium steak. The Lobster Tail and mushrooms, crab cake, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and Pimento Mac & Cheese were excellent. They did forget our cilantro fries but we forgot until we after we got home. I would go back and expect a better front staff and steak. It was definitely on the pricy side, as we spent well over $400 for two of us. The Caymus Wine and Don Julio Reposado was superb though. I'd recommend this place to get a feel for yourself, worth a second chance in my book. If you all have read any of my reviews, you all know I am a sucker for excellent customer service. The staff here is fantastic, and the food is even better, so compliments to the chef. The establishment is spacious; they have a large group room and live music on certain nights. Now on to the food! We went with goat cheese fritters, salmon poke, broiled octopus, fried green tomatoes, lamb chops, and a fried lobster tail. I usually rank these dishes from my least favorite to my favorite, but I loved all of these. Everything was seasoned to perfection, and the food just melted in my mouth. Heck, my mouth is starting to water just typing this out. The plating was phenomenal; the bartenders got down with the drinks, and to top it off, Xavier (the manager) stopped by and cracked a few jokes with us. Especially after I said, the food was horrible, but my plate was clean. The entire evening was a great dining experience and one we needed. We will certainly be back. My husband and I are at Cuts last night to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary. We were blown away! The interior of Cuts is absolutely stunning, and it feels incredibly classy from the moment you step inside. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and very attentive to our table without being overbearing. We started with the goat cheese risotto appetizer, as well as a crabcake. 8/19/23 On first glance, the restaurant seems fine. Then the orders came. My $120 Tomahawk steak was cooked ok, just was flavorless. It tasted like I was in a western eating a hunk of meat with no seasoning. I pointed out to staff twice with no fix. I dumped pepper and salt on it in front of them. But in the end I said to my wife and the party, "Im in a steakhouse, I shouldn't have to add anything to this." Before that, the first $40 glass of wine I ordered had an old and musty taste to it. Made the waiter aware and ordered a different wine. When he dropped that off, it was in a dirty glass that had food particles in it. Had the waiter remove both glasses, since he never took the first glass. Then my wife steak came Med Rear, when she ordered Med Well. After the tomahawk was flavorless and having with only water from not trusting its bar to provide a clean wine glass, it totally killed the vibe of my birthday dinner for me. If other where not invited, we would have left. In summery, a so called steakhouse that does not flavor or cook its main course correctly, nor pays attention to the details in the bar. This place is the best place that I have EVER eaten and experienced. Upon arrival the vibe is just so pleasant from valet to doorman to hostess to waiting staff. Everyone is smiling, happy, and ready to accommodate your every want and need. We were seated promptly and introduced to our waiting staff. After reviewing the menu and receiving our drinks in a timely manner, we ordered appetizers and entrees (we were starving) however, the waiting staff said they would pace everything and they did. We ordered spinach dip, empanadas (MUST TRY), shrimp and grits, crab cakes, and Brussels sprouts. The food came out the perfect temperature and everything was so flavorful. The shrimp was succulent. I did not enjoy the grits as I thought that it was a little salty. However, it could be just my tastebuds as I am not "salt" person. My friend said the crab cakes were delicious and it was actually crabmeat and not a bunch of filling. Every thing was on point and on time. We never had a moment to want or need anything and the staff was not overbearing nor did my party feel rushed. Overall I give the food a 9 out of 10. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning. Our waiter Xavier found out that I didn't like grits and did offer to redo the dish or replace it with something else. He even notified the manager and the manager came to the table but I was so satisfied with what I had already eaten that I did not find it necessary to replace the meal. SO glad I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner! My first time there, and it was excellent in every way. Had such a fun evening: Atmosphere: Very nice! Some roomy, circular booths. So comfortable. Service: Jonathon greeted me by name when I arrived with a "happy birthday" and checked on us during our meal. When we left four hours later (we went to the lounge after dinner), he actually came outside to tell us goodby and again wish me happy birthday. Such a nice man who obviously loves his job. Our waiters, Byrd and Monsoon were excellent. They were friendly and professional, and let us set the pace for our meal. Food: Excellent. Steaks cooked to perfection. A nice menu! Music: Ahhhmazing! Man, it looks nothing like the TK anymore- really beautiful, inside & out!! We all arrived just before 8 pm & this place was hopping!! Lots of energy, warm smiles, a great welcome in- I love the sound of soft chatters & clanking forks... means good food & a good vibe!! We had to wait a few minutes for our table so we were in the front seating area, this is small but they seem to have a patio. Just off the side & I know this because a group of YOUNG children came loudly bursting in with a couple of adults who didn't seem to mind these children were too loud, running/flopping & some in sweat pants. The associate sat that group just before up, then took us to our table- we were going to be seated next to them. I politely told our associate to move us, she winked, gave an "I understand smile" and prepared another table far away. The GM came to make sure we were satisfied- ABSOLUTELY!!! All discrete & we didn't interrupt a single table while we shifted... THAT is service & what I (like the Ritz) expect from a high-end steak house!! We had 2 servers- how cool!! The lead gave our menus, got our initial drink orders & explained everything. Our 2nd server assisted with the same, placed bread, filled water, cleared plates. Just wow!! Great service! Made reservations for 9, for my brother's birthday, and we had a great time. Self parking is a little tight but they do offer complimentary valet parking. I opted out because I was going to be switching my heels before going in. Once our party arrived it was only about a minute till we were seated. I wasn't too fond of where they had us seated, right in front of the kitchen pass (food/order window). It was very busy with a lot of staff going back and forth. But on a positive note it was neat to see the kitchen do their thing and the dry age fridges. We started off with two waiters helping our table but ended up with one. Waters were filled and drink orders were taken quickly. It did take a few to get apps and entrées orders taken so we put those orders in at the same time. Being a large group we ordered quite a bit of dishes but just to name a few, for starters we ordered the cuts steak bites, tuna tataki, tomato avocado salad, and a couple spinach dips. Entrées; 3 dry aged tomahawks uncut, fried lobster tail, ribeye with lobster, shrimp and grits, salmon, short ribs, and the surf and turf. That wasn't all we ordered but I want to say most of all we ordered. So that I'm not writing a novel I'll just comment on the best dishes and the least favorites. For appetizers the best was definitely the tuna tataki. We really wanted to order more of it but we still had more food coming. The least favorite and most disappointing was the steak bites. Under the description is says NY strip so I assumed it was going to be a NY Strip cut into bite sizes. It was 5 bites of a NY Strip.. For $22 I gave it the benefit of doubt and assumed AGAIN that maybe it was AT LEAST prime grade bites. I was wrong. They were definitely not prime grade but only choice. I didn't want steak but because it was a steak house I figured I could at least get a steak appetizer and that totally backfired on me. LOL For our mains everyone liked the $120 40 day aged tomahawks but my husband actually ages his own ribeyes and tomahawks so honestly we weren't too impressed. They were aged well and cook perfectly to temp. We ordered one rare and two med rare. Getting 3 different tomahawks we were also able to see the physical size differences in each order when comparing to the boards they're served on. But I'm sure they're cut by weight right...? Because the birthday boy's tomahawk ended up being the smallest one. LOL Being a set price, not by weight, you would think so. Anyway MY personal favorite was the shrimp and grits. I would go back just for this dish. There were a few bits of shrimp shell in my actual grits or gravy but I eat shelled shrimp sometimes so it didn't bother me too much. The grits were definitely made in house which had me nodding in approval. Not too heavy nor complete mush. I really liked the "bite" of the grits. Buttery, cheesy, and full of flavor. Honestly the dish was a little salty but I wasn't mad. Just drank a little water after every other bite. The shrimps were beautiful. The sauce was rich and I really enjoyed the addition of the tomatoes. I savored each little bit of sweet acidity. Overall food was very good, service was also very great. There is supposedly a dress code, but we did see a lot of people in the establishment wearing sweats and sneakers so that definitely clashed with the ambience they try to maintain. At one point the manager even made his way to come check on our table asking how everything was and if we needed anything. Lots of kudos for that. Then our party moved to the dining room where Jennifer was our server, with Ricardo assisting. They were both fantastic and very alert to our wants and needs! Jennifer is so wonderfully friendly and helpful. We're had wedge salads to start...perfectly fresh and tasty. Then three of our party had some type of steak entree and I had the special lobster pappardelle. Everything was delicious! We didn't have any leftovers!!
