    chicken quesadilla
    Yvonne M.

I went here for a lunch with my co-workers and was pleasantly surprised to have one of the best chicken quesadillas in Richmond. it was so big and stuffed with so much chicken I couldnt believe it. I didn't expect this to be as good as it was, but everyone at the table was drooling at it. (one of my co-workers ended up coming there a week later after seeing mine and jeering how much I liked it) I highly recommend this place and this dish specifically.

Gus' bar and grill 5/21/22 Saturday night 11pm Not a lot of people here. Definitely a sports bar. People were here enjoying a game. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. It was good. The waitress/bartender was very pleasant. I ordered a Diet Coke and it tasted weird. I asked for another one but in a paper cup thinking it might be the hard plastic cup for some reason. It still tasted weird though. I didn't drink it. Otherwise everything was ok.

We wanted a local and casual bar to go to and this was it. We went on a rainy Monday night and it was very slow. But I could see during football this place would be packed. We got great service by Trey. We sat next to some locals and started to talk and drink. This is not a fancy place....it is a sports bar. The menu is pretty good but most of it is probably frozen food from Sysco. But we liked it. We ordered late at night so it's only fryer items late night. Good place to go to watch sports and grab a beer with friends. I would go back.

We decided to try this place randomly the other night. We get in it's a typical bar atmosphere. We ordered some food and most of the food came out pretty good. However, chicken tenders were ordered and the first set came out completely raw. You could visibly see it from the outside not even being cooked. We told the waitress and she only said "oh that's not right", never apologized or anything. Another set of tenders came out and they looked cooked from the outside but they didn't leave them cooking long enough and the inside is still raw! The waitress was showed this again and then pretty much rolled her eyes and went over to the bar and went over to the other waitress and looked like she was irritated there was another issue we pointed out. She came over to the table quickly after that but never refilled our drinks or even asked. The waitress just had a bad attitude from the start it seemed and nobody ever apologized for the raw chicke. I wish I would have taken a picture of the first set of tenders but I was hoping it was just a fluke.

"Broad. ST. Bully" good sandwich, hearty roll, packed nicely.

Was scrolling somewhere to grab a bite and a beer with a friend. I'd never heard even a peep about this place but I'm glad we decided on it. It's located in Broad right next door to one of my favorite mexican restaurants in Richmond Lalo's Cocina. Our waitress (Rebekah) was super sweet, attentive but not aggressive! Our food and drinks were prompt, everything was hot and pretty darn good. They went the extra mile and added the plexiglass over/ between each booth. Bathroom was clean, which is always a plus, it does speak to the conditions in which your food may be being cooked. I ordered the "Broad Street Bully" it's simply a Philly cheese steak sandwich, but it is good! I ordered the " Chief sticks"which are mozzarella sticks but that marinara sauce is A1! For a bar and grill they have very interesting and unique things on the menu such as; nacho raviolis, fried halloumi and brisket! Was having a conversation with a couple of the other patrons and they mentioned the smoked wings were great! I'm intrigued and will be back to try some of those items!

Only street parking is available, but it wasn't too difficult to find a spot. The atmosphere: Very rustic vibe with some farmhouse-style decor. They have table, high-top, bar, and patio seating available. The food: I opted for the Chicken and Waffles with a side of cheese grits. I chose to make it hot for more spice. It's served with one whole waffle, two large pieces of fried chicken, and syrup on the side. The chicken was not seasoned as much as I hoped and wasn't as spicy as I expected, which was a bummer. The cheese grits were alright as well, but not as flavorful as I hoped. My partner ordered the Double Barrel Bowl, and he really enjoyed it. It was packed with pulled pork and was plentiful and filling. The service: Great and kind service from Mave (I believe that is her name but I'm not entirely sure). She informed us about the daily specials and was attentive throughout our visit.

I've always had a pleasant time dining in, the staff has always been attentive to refill my drinks, and they always are willing to entertain a conversation with me, or entertain me with their conversation. Beauvine, in my opinion, is a staple of Richmond's food scene and is a MUST to anyone new or visiting the city and wants a fantastic, and reasonably priced, burger. I was going to order another drink, but because it took them quite a bit of time to get back to me, I ended up not forgoing the extra drink. I ordered a Bellytimber burger with a side of onion rings and a Beauvine's mule with raspberry flavor. My friend had ordered wings with a Modelo. My burger and onion rings were good, but my mule wasn't strong enough for me. It tasted quite watered down. The wings, my friend said, was alright. Overall, my experience was okay. I wouldn't mind coming back, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way.

The patio is covered and has 2 heaters. We walked into the bar and the bartender directed us outside where our server came out and got us waters. She helped us turn the heaters on and got us settled as we waited for the rest of our family to arrive. For apps, we ordered the Fried Oysters and the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce. The chicken tenders came with fries as well. The oysters were good, nice and crispy. The tenders were also delicious, especially with the BBQ sauce. The fries, while they looked crispy, were just a tad soggy for my taste. For our entrees, I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and my husband ordered the cubano. Our family ordered salads with salmon. Everything looked delicious and was fairly quick to come out. My sandwich came with ranch and it definitely helped tone down the saltiness of the Fried chicken. Just eating the chicken alone was too salty and I had asked for my fries extra crispy which were amazing. The cubano sandwich was good and well made and the side of Brussels my husband got were also crispy. The salads and the salmon looked good, definitely cooked well. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The person who helped bring out our drinks also ended up bringing out some bacon for our dog and was so kind. The patio is dog friendly but I would recommend brining a towel or mat for your pup to lay on. Overall, great service and good food!

This is the restaurant in the lobby of the Omni, and their room service menu has a really solid variety. Appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, fish, chicken, steak, seafood, other meat options, plus plenty of sides and desserts. There's something for whatever mood you're in. For my appetizer I ordered the fried green tomatoes. I'm very picky about fried green tomatoes because if they're not done right, they can be greasy and heavy. These were not. They were thick wedges of firm green tomatoes in a light batter, stacked with a spread of pimento cheese and finished with a drizzle of honey. The balance of savory and sweet worked really well, and the texture was exactly what I look for -- crisp outside, tender yet firm inside. For my entrée I chose the roasted lamb rack. It came as two double ribs over a sweet potato purée that had a subtle hint of cinnamon -- really nice flavor without being overpowering. The lamb was cooked to the right temperature, juicy and tender, with a light chimichurri and vegetables alongside. I also ordered the grilled corn succotash as a side -- corn, beans, and tomato. It was fresh and bright and complemented the richness of the lamb perfectly. This is my second time dining here. The first time I had breakfast out on the Westham Porch, and both experiences have been very pleasant.
