I've been here twice and they have pretty decent food. Great drinks and hip hop music. If you go on karaoke night you might want to blow your brains out. They have a Small casino with slot machines in the back. Full bar with a frozen drink machine that doesn't work. Some of the mixed drinks don't tase well but I think it has to do with which bartender you get. Great decor inside, Sports bar theme.lots of parking, Lots of potholes and gravel. Overall - awesome hood spot! Totally recommend

Pops bar and grill is a sports bar off the beaten path. They definitely have enough TVs to watch any of your games. I love the leather couches they have in the back for total relaxation. Had the wings here, not the best but manageable. I wasn't a big fan of the lemon cake. I could certainly come back to catch some football games here.

Good food good staff and a great atmosphere. The wings are plentiful and the ghost pepper sauce is on point not just all heat. This is great hidden way place to kick back have a few and enjoy the game. See you there.

One of the many tv options. 4 different screens or 1 huge screen

We were looking for a place to watch some March Madness that wouldn't be too crowded. After reading…read morethe review for the wings, we decided to check this place out. It's located in the back of Rosie's Casino - you do have to go through security and show your ID to be able to enter (must be 18 or older). There are several large screens so it's a great place to watch a game. Several beers, a couple wine options and mixed drinks available. They seemed to be understaffed when we went so while the servers were extremely nice, it did take 25 minutes for us to get our beers. The food (wings & Parmesan truffle fries) came out quickly and while I prefer breaded, crispy wings, the sauces were pretty good. I loved the truffle fries and bonus: all appetizers are 1/2 off during the March Madness games. If there's a big game we want to watch, we might return since they have so many screens and a decent beer selection.

Better than Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop powers combined, I dare any of y'all to question me. Cause I'm in fact 85% SEAGAN. The 85% comes primarily from me cheating when it comes to cheese. I REFUSE to eat meat ANYWHERE in RVA but this place. Swear to GOD. They are really that good and we are talking about access to a full bar and HELLA TVS. All jokes aside, you can't thank me right now for coming and trying the wings. TBH, I have no idea about the rest of the menu but I hear that the ribs, chili and nachos rank high up with the wings. They also have specials they run through the week like live bands on Friday, Trivia on Tuesdays and BOGO wings on Wednesday. (Wings have to be dine in but I doubt they won't let you take one bite and then ask for a box- don't tell them I said that) The bartender I met, Tiffany was fabulous like Tiffany's jewelry. Real talk. Also, they have plugs running the length of the bar so bring your chargers for convenience!!!!!

It was very refreshing and delicious. I ordered to-go. The fries are reminiscent of Checkers/Rally's. I enjoy those fries and these are good, as well. I chose to try the Southern Hospitality. It's a sports bar, so it can get pretty loud. I was grateful we were sat in the back corner, especially as that gave me a perfect viewpoint to admire all of the decor. The food was just as great. I ordered the crunchy club wrap with a side caesar, plus the "Grinch" deviled eggs (avocado) and their rice krispie treat special, which ended up being pecan. I got a to-go box for the krispie treat and had to crush it down so it'd fit...it's genuinely quite large. The festive holiday cocktail I ordered (velvet slopes) was soooo good too. Not boozy at all, either. Our server was sweet and prompt, and everyone we encountered was friendly. We arrived around open for lunch, which was perfect as the space filled up rather quickly. Not an empty table by the time we left!

Their menu is interesting, but I have to say I was disappointed to not find vegetarian options for their pizzas. There might have been one, but for a truly artistic place in such a liberal, artsy area, they should have had more options. Service was mixed - Our main server was forgetful and spacey... We would ask for things and he'd acknowledge and walk away only to come back a few minutes later and ask what we asked him for. Come on... Do better, management! As for the food - The pizzas really needed a slightly higher temperature and about 30 seconds more. The meatballs were cold inside and the sauce was luke warm. The Calabrian cauliflower was also on the cool side - very odd considering we saw char marks on them. Hmm... The flavor of the pizzas was nice though, but it would have been so much better if it was a little more charred and crusty. Overall - This was on my 'hit list' for visiting the downtown Richmond area, that's why I brought colleagues here for dinner, unfortunately it didn't deliver - far from it.

Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You could tell the kitchen was firing on all cylinders that night -- each course felt intentional and indulgent in the best possible way. The kind of meal that has you slowing down between bites just to appreciate it. Brickfire is the total package -- incredible food, an atmosphere that feels romantic and inviting, and an owner who genuinely cares about your experience. Whether it's a special occasion or just a Tuesday night, this is exactly the kind of restaurant Richmond needs more of. Sam, you've earned a customer for life. We'll be back soon.

The grilled chicken was juicy, the toppings were fresh, and the pickled onions added the perfect tangy bite. Every bite was delicious. We also tried the steak and fries, and the steak was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion, tender, and topped with a flavorful chimichurri-style sauce. The fries were crispy and the perfect side. To top it all off, I had one of their frozen drinks, and it was so refreshing--the perfect pairing with the meal. If you're looking for a casual spot with great food, generous portions, and a fun tropical atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

The staff were polite, but we had to ask several times to get items we were missing or things we wanted extras of. They checked in on us a fair number of times, but they still forgot to return to give us what we had asked for. By the time we were ready to leave, we still haven't gotten our dressings or our condiments. I also had asked for my burger to be well done, but I got a burger with quite a bit of pink in it. I didn't want to ask for it to be placed back on the grill because I didn't really want to wait longer for my food. Although I wanted my burger to be well done and I didn't get it that way, it was still pretty good. The fries though, I think was the best part of it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy! I also ordered a coke. Just a heads up, they don't do free refills on the sodas, so each cup is $4. My party also ordered salmon l'orange and a romano salad with salmon. My friends really enjoyed their main dishes, but we did ask for extra dressing. The restaurant is decorated in a boho-style vibe, and it was cute. We found the lighting on the side dining area to be a little bit too dim once the sun went down, but I do think it would've been perfect for a date night vibe. Overall, we had an okay experience.
