Absolutely obsessed with this place. Tucked away in Scott's addition you would never really know it was there so it's like an unofficial speakeasy. Came in for happy hour and had a selection of treats to choose from. The affogato was to die for. No one was in for happy hour as I believe it was from 5pm-6pm so it felt like we rented out the entire spot which was nice b !! I will be back

It was kinda hard to find at first , but that's expected of a speakeasy . This place was definitely my vibe. I love a dark moody aesthetically pleasing speakeasy. The service was great and our food and drinks were great. The bartender could have done better at knowing the menu to offer suggestions. Me and my friend shared their charcuterie tray and shrimp cocktail on their happy hour menu. I got a velveteen cocktail and she got an expresso martini. We came early but will definitely be back to see the music set they have play at 8 . Nice place for a date night or group of people for the back seating area.

Finally made it to Goldwing and loved it! Visited with friends on a Friday night and ended up waiting across the street about 10 minutes. Adam was our server and was nice & extremely patient with our questions and shenanigans. I love the atmosphere - the space & music matches the jazzy vibe. And the drinks were amazing.

Really cool kind of a jazzy speakeasy! We arrived for a drink and the place was full. We ended up standing by the bar which was fine. Cocktails were solid, lighting is romantic, and the hightop tables make for a great date night experience. The biggest down side was that there didn't appear to be seating for parties of any bigger than 4 people, and it's hard to find since there's no sign on the outside. There was a live jazz band that was pretty good! They weren't too loud, so the place was a total vibe! Check it out for a unique, classy experience!

Came here on a Friday evening with a girlfriend and we had a blast. We came just in time for their 5-6pm daily happy hour. It got pretty packed. There is a lot of seating options here. You can sit at the bar, high tops around the bar, or couches in the back. It's very lounge-like and has a speakeasy feel to it. The jazz music that evening felt a bit old timey in a cool way. I ordered the Even the Cowgirls Get the Blues cocktail and it felt like if a cherry coke was a cocktail (in a good way). My friend ordered the Rumble Honey then the International. She adored her drinks. She loves any foamy drink or milkshake-like beverage and these both fit that. When visiting, you'll look for an unmarked door with gold handles. There is no logo out front to make it fit the speakeasy feel even more. In the back are two gender neutral single stall restrooms for guests. I had a lovely evening here and am glad to have visited.

Goldwing is a hidden gem in Richmond perfect for date night. Started our night here and it has a cozy vibe with great cocktails, and friendly staff. This particular night they had live jazz which was really cool but it can get pretty busy in there so keep in mind if you want a bar seat. It sits on the corner so look for the door with gold handles (sticking to that speakeasy theme). I definitely plan on coming back for drinks , it was a pretty enjoyable spot for sure.

Very cute small place to get some drinks and snacks! The staff is super friendly and they will even have live music some nights! They're very creative with the drinks and the desserts are great! I think it's in a perfect area if you want to get drinks before a night out in the town!

If you can find it (unmarked door, but not hard to find), it's worth your time. Get there early if you need a 4 top, mostly 2 tops. Really neat ambiance, nice vibe! Great cocktails, $10 during happy hour, before 6pm. Cozy and romantic! Perfect for a pre dinner date night.

Goldwing is the perfect date night spot in Richmond! It is hidden on the boulevard next door to Fighting Fish. We popped in on a Sunday for drinks and to my surprise one of my favorite bartenders in Richmond was there running the bar. My drink was amazing! I had a spicy tequila drink. The staff were very friendly and insightful. The overall ambiance is very inviting. I can see why it took me almost a year to get in the door! This is a very busy space and if you are trying to get a space at the bar Sundays seem to be a slower day for them. I will definitely be back to try other drinks on the menu and a few small plates

Goldwing was exactly what I hoped it would be: tasty drinks, delicious dessert, and a great vibe. The service and music was on point. I'll definitely be back for an extra dirty martini (yum!) and the cheesecake (AMAZING!)

Do not expect to go here and get a meal. The menu is limited to snacks and desserts. Do expect good drinks and 1920s vibes. We had a few drinks and the brownie affogato. All the drinks were good. The menu does a great job of describing the drinks which makes the process of choosing that much easier. The brownie affogato was the perfect way to end the night.

love love love the ambiance of this place. The live jazz music plus the decor added to the whole experience. Server was very kind as well. The cocktails were sneaky strong and I really liked my cocktail "Even Cowgirls get the Blues" -fruity and smooth. I went with a group of friends but fyi there isn't much table seating for large groups (maybe max 5-6). I think this would be a great date spot for sure though!

Sexy little bar! Dim lighting, old school music (think Sinatra), animal heads on the wall... They have bar seating, two seater high tops and one or two areas for larger groups. The staff was nice though the service was pretty slow despite how many people were behind the bar. Pricing is higher. All cocktails are $16. My friend and I thought they were just OK. We didn't opt for a second drink as with tax and tip we spent $42 and change. Also just an fyi, it is DARK in there. Can't read the menu dark, need to use your phones flashlight like an old person dark. But glad to have the experience.

I was there for a private event. The crowd was warm and wonderfully mixed. There was a little chat before the event began that basically told us to not get kicked out by being mean or non-inclusive. Not sure how I felt about that. Parking in Carytown is its own contact sport. Come early -- your blood pressure will thank you. I parked 6 blocks away and was lucky to get that. Bottom line: Weird, welcoming, and worth every lap around the block looking for a spot if you're into crowds and are looking for something different.

The charcuterie board we ordered was excellent and a highlight of the night. The location is also great for nightlife. That said, the drinks didn't quite hit the mark for me, and the service was inconsistent. We were told guests are expected to be quiet during the sets, yet another group was talking loudly and nothing was addressed, which felt a bit uneven. Overall, it's not a place I'd return to, and I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a more diverse crowd.

The server, Briana, was one of the best I've had in a very long time. Personable, great smile, friendly, and knew her stuff. We ordered the brussel sprouts- they were great with a nice heat from the sauce. We had the crispy skin salmon, which came with a nice fresh salad, The skin was amazingly crispy and the flesh was flavorful. I asked Briana to surprise me with something good and boy did she deliver. It was their porkchop served over some super tasty mashed potatoes. Note that this is not how they are usually served, it was Briana's favorite way to eat this dish so she made the decision for me. The porkchop was very very good. Nice grill marks, onions, and a very nice cream-based sauce. This was so so good. They are doing great food at this new location and I will be back again.
