First time to Main Line Brewery with out of town friends and it will not be my last. Not only is it a brewery, Cirrus vodka is here AND they have a RUM BAR! The staff were super friendly and the venue is massive and tons of fun! They had a couple bands playing, it was a Saturday afternoon, outdoor games like corn hole and giant beer pong. Plenty of cozy shaded places to hang out and talk. We did not sample the food but they had it.

I really like Main Line. It's situated along a railroad and connected to Cirrus Vodka. It's down the street from Hardywood and Castleburg breweries, so you could easily make a full day of the little area without getting in a car. Their outdoor area is vast, with a big stage that usually has a band playing, and a splattering of round tables - some of which have umbrellas - as well as some picnic tables. The indoor ambiance is nice too, with a wall of plants greeting you as you walk in. They have stickers to stand on while you wait in the draft line, which helps to streamline things. The staff is friendly too, and the drinks are affordable, especially if you do half pours. My first visit, I overcharged myself. I ordered two half pours and only saw one beer listed, so I asked for the other to be added -- then later realizing that they had just been combined into one full pour. Whoops. This time around, I had four half pours for just about $14 plus tip. Nice. The beers and seltzers vary. The margarita gose and the cherry on top seltzer are great. I haven't been as big of fans of the lemon and raspberry seltzers, but other friends at my table did enjoy them both. And that's the other main thing - this is an ideal place for a bigger group. All told, I enjoy my visits to Main Line. Just wish they'd add more umbrellas outside for the summer heat, but I understand that could be a hassle!

After visiting Cirrus we decided to check out the brewery since they share the same building. I couldn't get over how large this brewery is. So many seats inside and out. We visited on a day that started out cloudy with showers so the crowds were light. The live music was nice. We enjoyed trying several of the beers and liked them all. We had peanuts and potato chips to snack on. I can only imagine how lovely this venue would be on a warm summer night. The parking lot fills up quickly so parking can be an issue. Plenty of street parking but be prepared to walk.

Love this space, we have our jeep events here with River City Wranglerz and it is a great time every time. Always has live music on Sundays. Good drinks, good prices and good people. They have a rum bar, vodka area and beer area. There is also an inside and outside stage for events and bands and LOTS of space to enjoy. Dog friendly!!

I liked Main Line overall. It has a nice concept. It is a really chill spot to kick back and have a couple drinks with friends on a nice day outside. Haven't tried their beer, however I tried their vodka drinks as there is a "distillery" attached and the drinks were not bad and were worth it for the price. There was only one bartender for the distillery section when I was there and there was quite a line. Although she was awesome and did a great job handling the crowd, they might want to consider having more bartenders present making drinks for the busier times (Saturday afternoon/evening). Live music and cool ambience is what keeps this place popping though. PROS: - Cool ambience/Chill spot - Good drinks (Cirrus Distillery section) - Live Music CONS: - Lines for drinks are long if understaffed

Went there for a company private event, so I'm sure the vibe is different on regular days. Beer selection was limited compared to other breweries in the area, and somehow I didn't find one that truly clicked. I did try their hard seltzers and those were quite good. The outdoor area is beautiful and very spacious!

Went on a Saturday with a group of friends. Plenty of tables for everyone to spread out. They had heaters available as well. There are two stages. One outside and one that is located inside of the taproom. There are several areas that you can choose to sit and despite it being busy we didn't have a problem finding our own area. Beers were tasty and if you don't like beer you can swing by Cirrus vodka right next door; they're attached. Dogs are allowed inside and outside which is a plus. Staff were super helpful with getting the heaters and fire pits going. I even saw them literally leaf blow the water off of tables and chairs for a group after the rain which was awesome and super sweet. When we went they had musicians playing on the stage in the taproom which was a lot of fun. Bistro lights are strung everywhere for a nice ambience and the room right off of the taproom has a lot of plants and open garage-style doors for fresh air. I will definitely be going back. It was such a relaxing environment.

Cool spot with plenty of seating (in the sun). Get some umbrellas! Loved the live music, variety of games, and beers!

Cirrus Vodka is also right next door and they have liquor cocktail options for those that don't drink beer or seltzers.

Apparently the capacity is 500 so be prepared to be close to others if your show is sold out! Showed up early prior to doors opening to ensure we got a good spot which is a must especially if you'd like to be close to the stage. The staff was really friendly and set up barricades by the door which helped corral the line. I loved that they had a metal detector set up and a security check point. I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. I will say be prepared to stand for an extended period especially if you show up early. There is little to no seating available and as show time nears it is practically standing room only. So wear comfy shoes! From the outside, the building has this classic warehouse vibe that fits right in with the historic feel of the area. There's a big sign so you can't really miss it, and the overall look is super inviting if you're into that old-school industrial style. When you up to the entrance, you'll go up the stairs to find the staff checking your tickets. Once you're inside, the place opens up into a big, open floor plan with a solid mix of standing room and a few spots to sit along the wall. The layout works well for concerts, the sightlines are good, and everything feels close to the stage even if you're not right up front. The inside keeps that warehouse feel going. It's exposed brick, high ceilings, just a bit gritty in a cool way. The bar is off to the side and stretches pretty long, so grabbing a drink was quick! Bartenders were friendly and the drink selection covers the basics. Nothing wild, but you'll find everything you need for a good night out. I went to see Jutes for the first time, and it was such an awesome show. The energy in the room was electric, and the sound quality was surprisingly clear for a venue this size. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and you could feel the crowd's excitement the whole set! This was definitely a solid spot for live music in Richmond. I love a small concert venue, and would definitely go back for another concert!

When arriving no one was a the host stand to direct us to our table and the only person in Camel gear said he was a sound tech and couldn't help. Went back to the bar side and told the bartender our table number, he advised which table it was. There were several of us trying to get this sorted let me add Finally seated we had the same bartender come over to ask for orders. I inquired about the HH food specials that are posted at the bar Sun-Fri 3-7. The guy tells me they don't do HH on fridays. Ok... so he leaves while we browse the menu. Then another worker comes over and says sorry we double booked your table, you can't sit here. He also said, this happens all the time!! Maybe fix your system if it's an often occurrence. Yes a refund was issued but at this point the place is full, bar and all bar tables. So we stand with our drinks (3 of us) and hover by the bar looking for an opening so we can order food bc we're starving. Luckily in mins a table opens up. We sit down and wait and wait and wait. So I go to ask if there's table service or if we should order at the bar. No, there's table service. Finally the guy comes over takes our order for food. At this point from getting there to ordering it's been an hour and we are starving. We order the quesadilla, bbq tacos and cheesesteak. This takes another 45 mins.. ugh Food comes and isn't great. Tacos are super doused in bbq sauce and cheesesteak was bland. My gf is not a picky eater and she only ate one bite. The quesadilla seemed to be alright by her mom's standards. We finally get the bill, put out the card but the guy doesn't come back. My gf takes card to the bar to pay. Person 1 hands it to person 2, gf is standing there waiting to pay- never gets the bill/card back. Then person 2 asks my gf, what can I get you to drink. She says I'm trying to pay my bill, person 1 just gave it to you. Person 2 says, I don't have your card. Minutes later they determine she put it in front of another patron. Overall terrible experience. I'd still go back for a show. One that's standing room only
