This is the kind of dive bar you remember dragging your alcoholic parents out of as a kid If you don't drink alcohol then you can drink Pepsi! My favorite soda, bonus cool points for that. I've always liked this place, but I have to wonder why they allow serial harassers of women to hang out there? I was there tonight and there was an individual "singing" Karaoke...you could only call it "singing" if you were feeling very generous...who was being very, very creepy with almost every woman in the place. He was a large, unkempt man who looked to be in his 50s, with a big white streak in his grey hair that reminded me of Peppy Le Pew. You could smell him once you got within 5 or 6 feet of him, he smelled like urine and body odor, and every woman was very clearly put off by him. I realized that I'd seen this guy at other bars, and he's always making unwanted advances toward female patrons. Don't get me wrong, I'll still patronize this place, but they need to do a better job of deciding who or shouldn't be allowed in. read more

I ordered from here only because Deep Run had ran out of food, and just wanted something close on this rainy Saturday night. When I try a new restaurant, I order simple things. My thought process is if you cannot prepare the basic, why waste your money on something that will cost a little more and be disappointed. ORDER: CHICKEN CHEESTEAK SUB w/ ONION RINGS The good: it wwas ready when they said it would be... yeah... that's all.... that's it The bad: the whole dangon meal... the sub was so dry.. The food is really good for a local bar. I always enjoy a place that is no frills, but makes you feel welcome. My daughter had the Caesar salad and I split a pizza with my son. He's a little picky sometimes. But the waitress Ash has to be the coolest person I've met in a while. She catered to the kids like she was part of the fam. The ambiance is definitely local bar. However, they cook steak and cheese like it's a big city spot. There's pool tables and great music. If you're fancy...go anyway and enjoy some live music on a Friday or Saturday. Take your friends. My sisters and I really enjoyed our visit. The karaoke was fantastic. DJ King Richard was very helpful and he has a fantastic voice. He made us feel welcome and at home. He recognized that we liked oldies and gospel and found all the right songs for us. We even sang backup for him on several songs. The food was awesome and service was great. For a neighborhood bar I give it high marks. Only warning would be for non-smokers they do allow smoking. I'm not taking off stars for this (being a non-smoker) but it is worth noting. I've known for a long time that Daddio's does karaoke often, but I've never gone until last night. And what a great time! Karaoke Carla is super nice, and has a great voice! She doesn't have a book and no paper/pencils for sign up. Just give her your name, and she'll put you in the rotation. When you go up, tell her what song you want to do. She's got a good library of music, but not everything we'd asked for. The "line" to sing is short, and you will get to sing a lot. Friendly crowd. Great service. Our drinks were never empty. The biggest downside was that karaoke is done in the smoking side of the bar, so we left smelling awful. read more

Hole in the wall bar with decent food. I ordered the wings with sauce on the side. Wings were really bland but with salt/pepper and dipping the chicken in the hot sauce and blue cheese it wasn't to bad. The burger was juicy and flavorful but the fries were extremely bland. We went as soon as they opened and the food took a bit to come out so I can only imagine if they were busy. When I heard Ronnie Johnson was playing at Daddio's, I just had to go. I told several friends and I met them there as he and his group are on the uprise in their music. However, last night Ronnie was playing by himself and he had the crowd moving. He is a "Good Ole Virginia Boy" to say the least. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich, and to my surprise for bar food... it was very good and the price as really decent for the amount of food you received which included French Fries or Onion Rings. The waitress was hustling a lot and the Bar Tender was rocking and very attentive. The only thing which I found as a drawback was... I wish they had a list of beers because when I asked the Bartender what he had, I got this answer... a lot. So the first two I asked for... he did not have. So, I went for the traditional which was a Cold Bud in the bottle. I am not a smoker and it has been a long time for me to do some hanging in a crowded bar. Great crowd as they have two big pool tables... LOTS of TVs on the walls for sports of all kinds. I felt like I had been going in there for years as it seemed like my neighborhood. Since, I am a Non Smoker, they place had units which clear the smoke however there is still a lot. However, even though I could still smell the smoke on me this morning... I would like to go back again and try more items on the menu because the Reuben Sandwich I had was excellent. I hope Daddio's Grill will make Ronnie a regular as his music was great on his Acoustic Fender Guitar. As one fellow musician said in there last night to me, he had not heard a Fender Acoustic Guitar sound as good as this one. Along with the depth of sound and Ronnie's great songs and being able to play what the crowd wanted.... I felt he will be back soon, and I will be going back again soon to Daddio's. read more

Although I'm a non-smoker, this bar and grill is an excellent place to watch your favorite team(s). The bartender was super efficient! The food menu has a variety of healthy options. Today, I ordered the turkey wrap, and it was delicious! Once again, the bartender was super efficient. She was able to serve approximately 50 customers with no issues. No one was complaining about his or her drinks due to the bartender's efficiency. This restaurant is a lot like Cheers. Every one knows your name. The customers were super friendly. On Thursdays, Meatloaf is the headliner. I can't wait! All of the bartenders here are just awesome! As I stated, this is a smoking restaurant; however, there is a non smoking section on the other side of the bar with a separate door. There are pool tables and other games here. My boyfriend and I just recently moved down the street and visited your bar. Even though the non-smoking side was not really 'non-smoking', the bartender was friendly and attentive. However, about a week later, my boyfriend I went back and since the smoking side was pretty packed - which is good for business - we sat on the non-smoking side. After a few minutes, I went to the bathroom, hoping to have a beer on it's way when I returned. About 10 minutes later, when my boyfriend came back from the bathroom and found out no one had even attempted to come over to greet us, we left. Not very impressive. It's a shame, because we love to shoot pool and though it's a farther drive and they don't offer pool, I do believe we will be taking our business to Glory Days from here out. I've been here a few times so far, once during the day and then a couple nights. I wouldn't come in during the day, the bartender seemed to be upset that I even walked into the building. I couldn't even tell you who was bartending, but I felt I was an inconvenience for her. I am that type of person who gives a place a second chance so I decided to come up at night, and I can say it's a very big difference in service. The service is quick and I felt like I was in your local area bar, like Cheers! What made me come back was the attention I got from the bartenders, so I came back again a different night.
