After three years we decided to give KJ another try. We have now been there twice in as many weeks. The service has been attentive on both occasions. The food was enjoyable. Went here because it was open late. That's really the only plus. We were seated almost immediately. The food was mediocre. Fries were old and cold. Ordered fish and chips and the fish was in pieces like chicken tenders. It was weird. So did they cut one piece of fish into pieces to make it seem like you had more? The waitress was not great either. We had to get our own straws. She didn't bring out the food someone else did. I asked for a to go cup of soda and she brought back an empty cup. Friday night kickbacks was fun as usual. I ordered the fish and chips that also have a large dish of slaw. The fish was golden brown, crispy and flavorful. The finely chopped coleslaw is one of the best around. Now , the fries need some attention. They were limp, slightly oily, just not pleasing. We had one of sweetest servers. My friend and I came here tonight and I had to just come here and say the food was great but the service was awful. My friend had to go and get her own drink from the bar and then she also asked for a side of cole slaw and didnt get it until I asked for it for her. When these things were brought to the servers attention we got a side ways "sorry" with no offer to make it right. The server didnt even look my friend in the eyes during the apology and was saying it while walking away. When we got the bill, nothing was taken off for the mistakes, and my friend tried to inform the manager and he blew her off too. He said "thanks for your feedback" and then walked away. No attempt to even hear what happened. So my friend went to the host to explain that something should be done and then the same manager came to my friend saying that when something like this happens, you should let your server know. She DID know, she apologized, she should have tried to make it right, not blow my friend off. That made my friend feel even more unheard. The host at the front was very understanding of the situation and apologized multiple times. I think this was a good restaurant and a good sports bar. There were TVs from every possible angle your head could face. We had to partake in some wings and got grilled ones with some ranch. They had a nice crispy outside and tender inside. The carnivore flatbread was pictured prominently in the menu, so I had to try that as well. It was really topped with meat and a good amount of cheese. It was definitely a tasty item to share. There was a lot of seating so the booths were spread out well. The service was a little meh, but they give very large cups for water and soft drinks, so it's not as quick to need a refill as other restaurants. We were greeted by a nice host, who called 3 servers, the 3 servers proceeded to look at us and right in-front of us stated that they didn't want to take our table. We are non-white, so it was very racists and just made us feel bad from the start. The server that did take our table was nice. Unfortunately the damage was done. To further add to this bad and unpleasant experience, we got 3 raw wings (that we noticed). To be fair we ordered 80 wings for the table, but some of our family members didn't bother to see if they were cooked since the wings were rather small. My biggest problem is that my wife is 4 months pregnant and we saw 3 illness that can cause a miscarriage if she ingested raw chicken. I was on my wing kick and heard from an associate that they are pretty good here and so I went to try them. We were seated at the bar ( the place was empty). The bartenders never acknowledged us, we had to get their attention although they were right in front of us. My sister requested her customary glass of wine and I asked for the menu. We received neither, did I mention the place was empty. The bartender seemed to be bothered that she had to serve us. We decided we'd had enough and would take our business elsewhere. Talk about going downhill, and unfortunately you can assign all of the blame to management. The food is good, but the service is terrible--and it isn't news to the managers. In my case, I've brought it to their attention, and they've denied it, stating they take a lot of pride in their staff's level of service. Ultimately the problem is they've got a bunch of young ladies who want to spend more time socializing and flirting with visiting friends and older guys promising big tips than take care of their tables. Food arrives not quite hot and without requested or included items. Dirty plates are left on the table, despite the fact that they're crowding the table. Refills go unoffered or forgotten. Check ins never happen. Sometimes one has to chase down a waitress where they're congregating and playing at the front to get your check. And there's always an attitude that the customer is bothering them with any kind of request for something like a straw, extra napkins, or missing meals that we can see languishing on the kitchen passthrough. I even gave up on curbside pick up--I called to have the food brought out, as their site instructed, and the person who answered the phone--who turned out to be a manager--insisted I'd have to come in to get the food. When I came inside the front welcome station was crowded with young ladies in short shorts and waitress aprons laughing and passing their phones back and forth as they compared things on social media. And it was with ill-grace the manager gestured to where the bag of food was located without a thank you for the business or have a nice night as I left. Remember--management has been told, they dispute that any of these experiences happened on multiple visits, and they take pride and praise their team. My family won't be going back, which is a shame, because it's a great place to watch sports and delicious food, when it arrives and is still hot. read more

Visited this restaurant for an alumni football watch event. Unfortunately the afternoon was soured by terrible service. The waitress came to introduce herself basically as an afterthought after we had already been waiting quite some time. Then brought 3 drinks with 1 straw and took quite a quite to produce two more. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food at which point our 2 year old was getting seriously restless. But as we searched for our waitress to ask for an update, we noticed she seemed to be dodging us. Finally when they brought the food, I see that they've brought pepperoni pizza for my child when I clearly asked for cheese, and the waitress has completely neglected to put in the side order foe my child's meal. All of this I could have taken, but then we notice she seems to be a fine server for some guests, just not for my family and the Black women we were sitting with. I never want to assume racism, but I have got to think that must have played a part here, and it left a sour taste in our mouths. The restaurant gets 2 stars mainly because the food was good and the manager listened to our complaints and attempted to assuage them. Last night was my first time here. It was horrendous service wise. The service from CC sucked donkey balls. I mean seriously. This girl came to the table after the manager pointed out to her we arrived. I had never saw the menu so I asked for a couple minutes. The menu is not extensive at all but she didnt come back for more than 15 mins, until the lady wearing the key ring on her wrist sent her back to our table. Which brings me to this lady - she was clearly the manager or in some sort of leadership role yet she was helping only one table in particular while multiple were waiting for help. She saw us looking around for our waitress but never bothered to ask if she could bring us something to drink or even let us know she would send our server over asap. Back to CC- she finally took our order and we requested wings to start and 2 entrees. We got the entrees a good 15 minutes before the wings. It was pretty much in line with the rest of the bad service so we didn't complain- whatever. CC didn't bring our food out, some other waitress did and the lady with the key ring bought over the wings. She didn't return to check on us or ask if we needed anything, which I did, I wanted another drink. She came back about 20 minutes later, when we were done eating. She again didnt ask if we wanted anything besides a box and the check. Her third trip to our table and her only question was "would you like the check and some boxes?" Sure CC we will take the check and you take this lousy $2 tip that you actually don't even deserve. On the way out, we walked by another manager, this time a guy chubby darkhaired guy, who didn't ask us about our meal either. The only person in this entire establishment that provided any type of service and gave an impression of caring about his job was the guy in the dolphins jersey who seated us. He was pretty cool and consistent, nice on the way in and out. The good part (or bad depending on how you look at it) is that the food was really good. The korean BBQ wings are really amazing. The flavor is sooo good. I also had the seafood platter which was pretty standard, not spectacular but definitely no complaints. I loved the fries so much. My dinner partner had the cajun pasta which was also delicious. I had the pear paloma drink and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of alcohol. It was not watered down at all and the flavor of the drink was nice and refreshing. I would definitely eat the food again and recommend it. Maybe I will try pickup. Lastly, there's a million tvs in this place set up in every angle and there were like 3 football games on last night.
