I stopped in to make an in store purchase and place and order for an amp that was located at an out of state Guitar Center. When I got there there the place was pretty much empty. There was a customer playing guitar and one fooling around with the basses. There was a customer at the counter having a conversation with what seemed to be the only employee in sight. The employee glanced my way when I entered but didn't acknowledge me and continued his conversation. I walked over to what I had come for only to not find it so I went back over to the counter and stood there while the employee and customer laughed and joked, got another glance but still no acknowledgement. I walked away again to search for what I wanted. After about 10 min, a couple came in holding a receipt so I walked back over to the counter and the couple walked up to another part of the counter. They chatty customer saw that others were in the store and walked over to the guitar wall. Sadly as expected, the employee asked the new folks if he could help them again not acknowledging me. While he was getting whatever they had ordered or their repair another customer walked in and was assisted. Now I've been in the store for about 35 min. and still no acknowledgement. A 3rd customer came in, a father and son, looking at the bass amps. The employee finished with he 2nd customer and started heading for the father and son duo. I'm not that person that loves to get loud and make a scene so I waited until the employee was walking past be and headed him off. I was gonna give this guy one more shot. The first chance was when I asked if there was another Guitar Center close by and then asked what time his store opened in the morning. With both questions, the employee had the opportunity to ask A) If he could help me and B) What I was looking for. He didn't he answered my questions continued to ask the duo. Recently, my son accidentally broke the bridge on his cello. I called, thinking this was going to cost $$$ but it was covered under our rental agreement! Whew! Luckily my son wasn't going to forgo some allowance to chip in on this. I dropped it off mid-morning and it was ready the next day. I brought in the broken bridge and the guy working there (I forget his name!) custom made a brand new one. If you want friendly and reasonably priced rentals, this is the place to go. They also have lots of instruments for sale - string, keyboards, guitars, ukes - anything you need! And you won't find nicer people anywhere, of that I'm sure.

I emailed them right after delivery about this and received no response, but on their website they updated the photo after my email. I called them and said I wanted the old barrel if you can check stock and if not available call me and set up a return. They falsely advertised the incorrect product, and blamed me for this. They deducted $9 for a cleaning fee of a barrel that was never used, and again the incorrect item. The people working the phones are morons and scammers. I utilized this place for years and referring my students to purchase equipment and instruments since 2015. And buying reeds while on broadway tours. That all ends NOW Take your business elsewhere.
