Hongos, Calabacitas, Bistek Roja, side of rice, lavender horchata
Alisa M.

So delicious! Next time I will try the sampler but I was pleasantly surprised at the portions of the regular tacos as well. You can see the tortillas being made fresh as soon as you walk in. A variety of options available sure to cater to anyone. The new lavender horchata was so yummy and balanced. I can't wait to come back and try the next

Fantastic murals on the patio and in the parking lot

We were looking for a casual place with great Mexican food and read some great reviews of Guisados. I highly recommend both the carnitas pabil and the mole poblano tacos! We also loved the iced cold, blue horchatas (I assume in honor of the Dodgers who were playing tonight very close by.) There was a nice patio out back with murals and the service was fast and friendly. Great place!

Homemade tortillas everything was delicious lots of outdoor seating cozy inside seating with local artists on the wall Fast and friendly service

Mexicans Beeakfast burrito size : Fit for a flea.

I ordered a Mexicana Breakfast burrito. I was so completely disappointed. That burrito was so tiny! It was a 3 bite burrito for a petite woman, would've been a 2 bite burrito for a big man. I paid over $10.00! Mind you, it had zero meat product. I did not order a drink or anything else. The burrito was equivalent to one egg, 1/4 tsp of jalapeno, 1/4 tsp of tomato, 1/4 slab of Velveta cheese and a small tortilla. To think I passed 4 other breakfast places to try their breakfast burrito. Super disappointed! Not at all worth its value. I will stick to their sampler platter and fish tacos! Now excuse me while I rummage my refrigerator to find something else to eat. PS: I've uploaded a picture of the burrito so you can see that I am not exaggerating. Guisados, I am a loyal patron of your establishment and have taken many people there for dinners. Please be mindful that this burrito was on the level of price gouging. We work HARD for our money. On average most people work for approximately $18 an hour, so someone would have to work 30 minutes hustling their tails off to eat these two measly bites. That's not ok! There's a place in Glendale named Lupita's tamales on San Fernando road, they have the same price point but their burrito is about 2lbs and is LOADED with eggs, rice, salsa, chill rellano! I will go there going forward for my breakfast burritos. Stick to the tacos where the price makes sense. The burrito prices are insulting!

Taco spot on sunset they have multiple locations. I ordered the chorizo taco and their bistec taco with green sauce. Tortillas were super fresh, I liked the chorizo taco a lot although it was a bit oily.

First timer here lol apparently this place is the spot for after a Dodgers game lol Service was great and food was delicious. We got the Sampler which consisted of 6 mini tacos. I was surprised they were hand made tortillas woww delicious lots of flavor on all meat options. It does get kinda loud inside when busy but they do have an outside patio in the back which is very nice and chill. Coming back when baseball season starts again lol

These hit the spot!

I came here one night in between visiting sports venues and decided to get something filling and affordable. This is one of my go-to spots if I decide to eat outside of Dodger Stadium. I got a few tacos including the steak picado and chorizo. The steak picado had flank steak that was simmered with green bell peppers and bacon. It was also served with black beans and green serrano chile. Next up, I got the chorizo taco, which was a Mexican sausage served with green serrano chile, black beans, and red onions. These were so good and the amount was just right! I also ordered pollo tamales, which were filled with shredded chicken in green chile and it was delicious as well! Lastly, the Quesadilla con Chorizo was a great addition to the meal! It had queso panela that was grilled and combined with chorizo along with a serving of mild chipotle sour cream. All this really hit the spot and allowed me to get a second wind that evening!

Got lunch here with coworkers. Parking can be a real challenge as they have a small parking lot and there is limited street parking. You order at the counter and they bring your food out if you're eating it there. They have limited counter seating by the entrance and also some patio seating. Ambiance was nice with some colorful mural art. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito ($8.50) which includes pork chorizo, egg, cheese, and chile verde. I excluded the beans. It was a pretty filling burrito that was just right. They have tacos but pretty pricey at $4.25-4.95 each.

Amazing tacos, great vibe. Friendly service. We will definitely be back and visit the other locations as well.

I didn't even know this place existed. SUPER GEM! The location was clean and staff was friendly, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations (thank you). Conveniently located with lots of parking and clear signage! There's cute bar seating available, and you can't miss that big red building looking for the street! Now let's get to the food! It was a last minute, late night run, but the food was AMAZING! The shrimp tacos in particular! Each bite was delicious and mouth watering! I also got asada tacos, which were also the bomb. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! My little sister also got tacos, and she said they were perfect! The price point was pretty good too! I will definitely be coming back, and 100% getting those shrimp tacos again!!!! 10/10 for sure!

Camarones Steak Picado

I love a good taco and Guisados definitely delivered. Popped in just before dinner time and ordered a steak taco and a shrimp taco. Both were good, but the camarones taco was the standout. Fresh, great flavor, and a good amount of shrimp. Service was fast and they had seats inside and outside. We sat outside and I was happy there were plenty of heat lamps to keep me warm. I'd definitely come back.

I've been to Guisados many times but not this particular location. Was lucky to snag a parking spot in their lot. Food and service were spot on as always. I always get the sampler which gives you a taste of their meats and flavors. Unlike the taco trucks, everything hear is stewed so the emphasis is the sauces and the tender meats as opposed to the char that you would get from an al pastor or carne asada. Would recommend.

I really loved this place, as soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the cashier. She was so nice and patient. We heard that this place had homemade tortillas so we definitely had to try it! It did not disappoint. I got the chicharron and let me tell you, just the right amount of spice and the homemade tortillas were the cherry on top!!! The chorizo con papa's was also very good. We went to two taco spots within 30 minutes of each other and both were so good! I'm so glad we didn't pass this place up!!

We kicked things off with the queso fundido, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Rich, melty, and packed with flavor, it was the perfect way to start the evening. For my entrée, I ordered the cochinita pibil, which was incredibly tender and saucy in the best way. My husband ordered the short rib, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On the side, we shared the papas bravas and esquite, both of which complemented our dishes perfectly. The drinks truly elevated the night. My husband and I both love mezcal, and Kateen delivered. I ordered the Valentine's Day "Zona Romántica," which featured mezcal and wine almost like a sangria, but completely unique and beautifully balanced. My husband had the "Gypsy Fever," also mezcal-based, and it was smoky, smooth, and refreshing. Between the food, cocktails, and ambiance, it made for such a romantic and memorable evening. We'll absolutely be back!!

However, the reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the valet parking experience. First, I was charged $25 even though the sign clearly stated that valet parking is $17 for the first 3 hours, and $25 after 3 hours. Our reservation was at 6:30 PM, we arrived on time, and we left before 9 PM, so the charge did not make sense. When I asked the valet attendant, he kept saying, "because you dined there," without giving any clear explanation. If it is actually a flat rate for restaurant guests, then that should be clearly stated upfront to customers. Second, when I got into my car, I noticed that someone had touched the navigation settings because the compass direction and display were different from what I normally use. I do not understand why there was any need to adjust or touch my navigation system at all. I really think the restaurant needs to improve and better manage its valet parking system. Honestly, it felt like I was being charged a random price just because I was told, "you dined there." If there is a flat valet rate for restaurant guests, that information should be clearly communicated upfront instead of leaving customers confused at the end.

Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The margarita flight was super cute and actually strong lol every flavor was good. Perfect for trying different drinks instead of just picking one. The asada burrito was packed with meat and flavor. The steak was juicy, seasoned really well, and the portions were worth it. The chicken taco was simple but sooo good and flavorful, but the Korean BBQ taco??? Yeah that was my favorite.
