I like the ambiance in there and food was amazing and would come again but am from Texas

This place is great. Great vibes and great food. I had the chilaquiles verde with eggs and steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The salsa verde was definitely one of the better ones I've had in an LA restaurant (note. My favorite breakfast is chilaquiles so I've made it a mission to find the plate in LA). I have a feeling that the other food on the me will also be good. Chef's kiss:)

Food was delicious! Chilaquiles was so fresh and yummy, flavors are there! Breakfast burrito tocino was okay, would def try other options there! Service was ok, no one really checked on us. But def has that home feeling Ambiance was cute!

Breakfast burrito was really good, simple and cheap. Fluffy eggs, cheese hash brown and crispy bacon. Salsa is a little spicy and very authentic. It's a hole in the wall but seems to have a nice following. Looks very family oriented and everybody there was super welcoming and friendly.

Very disappointed on presentation of wet burrito. Idk what's wet about this burrito and also I asked for guacamole on the side and got avocado slices on the side . Idk what language I spoke but clearly was not understood correctly. I drove out of my way to get this for 14.00? Oh man seriously not a good try. Can't come back here again.

I love finding good eats on the fly.. We wanted to go to Broken Mouth Lee's Homestyle Hawaiian but was jamb packed during lunch. Since our stomachs were grumbling, we found Dona Inez a few stores down from the corner of Broken Mouth. The interior made this restaurant intriguing and worth trying. Looked authentic and walking inside you'll feel like you're in Mexico. Waitress indicated that chilaquiles were popular. So we decided to try the bistek chilaquile which we ordered in green sauce and consisting of corn tortillas lightly fried with cilantro, onion, cheese, and sour cream. Sounds really basic but all together delicious and made to order. For $8.50, it's a steal. Will definitely come back to rest of their menu consisting of caldos, burritos, sopes, huaraches, fajitas and seafood.

No joke, Dona Inez makes some of the best breakfast burritos in town! I only stumbled upon them after quarantine started in spring 2020 and am SO glad I found them. If only I knew they existed sooner! Their chorizo burrito is absolutely phenomenal and is my go-to. The salsa that comes with it is perfectly seasoned and just a bit spicy. Their chilaquiles and huevos rancheros are also delicious. Free delivery on orders over $20. Each time I've ordered (countless times lol), it's always arrived within the expected window and has been contactless and seamless because of covid. To date I've never been to Dona Inez in person, but will continue to support them and I hope you do too!

Randomly stumbled upon here and all I can say is: So glad I did! We had an amazing breakfast, needless to say the taste was excellent and service was genuine and friendly! Worth a trip for anyone who finds themselves in the area! Ask for the crispy tostadas!

Offers a really extensive menu but closes wayyyy too early for me to sample more of their dishes. (4:30 pm Monday to Saturday) I had their quesadilla with pulled chicken in red sauce and my husband had their fish in garlic butter sauce. Both our dishes were freshly prepared and extremely well made. However the flavors didn't knock our socks off. Could def used more chicken and cheese in my quesadilla. And the garlic butter sauce could had used a bit more seasoning. Nevertheless, the portion and price were very reasonable. We were beyond satisfied. Don't forget to check in and claim their horchata offer! Not overwhelmingly sweet and added the nice contrast/balance to the meal. Worth checking out!

    Half re/green chilaquiles

Amazingly good!! Just like moms coking! Family owned and operated. I drive from SFV just to eat here any chance I get. I absolutely love there chilaquiles Guadalajara with steak. My girlfriend gets the half green/red chilaquiles. Fresh squeezed orange juice! I highly recommend you try this spot. Help local family business that actually is worth it.

We kicked things off with the queso fundido, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Rich, melty, and packed with flavor, it was the perfect way to start the evening. For my entrée, I ordered the cochinita pibil, which was incredibly tender and saucy in the best way. My husband ordered the short rib, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On the side, we shared the papas bravas and esquite, both of which complemented our dishes perfectly. The drinks truly elevated the night. My husband and I both love mezcal, and Kateen delivered. I ordered the Valentine's Day "Zona Romántica," which featured mezcal and wine almost like a sangria, but completely unique and beautifully balanced. My husband had the "Gypsy Fever," also mezcal-based, and it was smoky, smooth, and refreshing. Between the food, cocktails, and ambiance, it made for such a romantic and memorable evening. We'll absolutely be back!!

This time, we decided to give it another shot since it has so many good reviews, and I'm glad we did. The ambiance was much better, with nice Tulum-style vibes and music that really set the mood. From the moment we walked in, service was great. We were greeted and seated right away thanks to our reservation. Our waitress, Brenda, was friendly, attentive, and super helpful in explaining the menu and recommending drinks. She checked in often and made sure everything came out quickly. The food was good overall, though the menu is a bit limited if you don't eat meat or seafood. I was especially looking forward to the fish tacos, but it seems like they've been removed from the menu. One thing I really appreciated was the mocktail options. Perfect if you're not drinking but still want something fun. The Wes Colada is a great pick if you like piña colada type drinks, though it is on the sweeter side. The michelada was also really well done, with a nice balance of savory and sour. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot for a date night or a girls' night out.

Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us.
