Out of Towner here. I've been to a lot of Art Stores, Including big Box Michaels and Hobby Lobby but also Jerry's and Blick. Definitely gotta say that this store had a lot, I was originally gonna purchase a couple Ecoline Markers but everything seemed really cool. Would go back if given a chance, the girl who helped me was really friendly helping me find stuff and answering questions. read more

Been there recently multiple times and received poor service and a don't give a sh*** attitude.

For art supplies, don't bother shopping anywhere else. I always shop at my Guiry's off of Bowles in Littleton. Guiry's has an incredible selection of hard to find art supplies and their prices are often much better than that of Big Box "Craft Stores". Most of the people that work at this Guiry's too are actual artists that know the product. Sure, you can go to those Big Dumb Box Stores and stock up on crappy canvas and still pay too much for paint. Don't go anywhere else, everything you need is here. I spend a good amount of my paycheck at this store. read more

I usually go to the Westminster store, but they did not have the item I wanted and they called this store to confirm they had it. When I went down to this location they had the wrong product out and said they had to order it. Since I live in Westminster I went back and ordered it through that store. It took 9 days to come down from Boulder, 9 days! I ordered the paint set from an online retailer that starts with a B and received it in 4 days, it was 8 dollars less, AND it came before the Guiry's set did just shipped between their stores. Guiry's has really gone down in service since you expanded your stores. We used to get items the next day or two from other locations, now it's 7 to 9 days. Add to that your new, very unfunctional web site and my painting group is going back to using online sources until you can figure out your new business model. Paid nearly $100 for an art piece to be framed. 9 months later the frame splits and crashes down in the night. Tried to fix it then 3 months later it happens on the other side. They do nothing to help replace or warranty their product. Then confrontational about how my phone call was with them when I inquired, telling me what I did and did not say. read more

They only open half of the store of what their business hours say. So, once again this place has wasted my time. Half a**ed seems to be their policy Update....yet again Guiry's screwed me. Bought two sheets of white mat board which upon closer inspection were not in fact white. And go figure, after I got one of the mats cut and mocked up I discovered it was a very light violet. And one of them is faded on one end from light I assume. I called to explain the issue and.....SURPRISE SURPRISE....THEY WON'T accept accountability and fix their screw up and inferior product. Take the time to go to a real art supply store like Meininger's and save yourself the headache. read more

I've spent hundreds here in paint and supplies, since it's 5 min from my house, and I have a preferred account there. If you're a gal, ONLY GO WHEN THE WOMEN ARE WORKING. They are friendly, accommodating, and work hard for your business. The guys stand around, need to be taught some social skills, and are just generally jerks if you're a woman. When I asked the price of something I was holding, the guy came up and took it out of my hands very abruptly. This one of many encounters with the indifferent, abrasive men who work there. Unfortunately, I needed my paint on a Sunday. Someone in customer service should teach these guys how to speak politely instead of grunt and act like you are a major inconvenience. Meh. Better than a big-box store, but nowhere near as good as Lucas Paint. I came in looking for a special tip for the paint sprayer we just bought. It wasn't in stock, and they didn't stock the primer I was looking for, either. They did have a lot of other stuff, like cool metallic paint. read more

We needed a change in the master suite, but I had no idea where to begin. I called Guiry's because I knew they had interior designers on staff. Allison Steed came out to give suggestions. We decided to have a make over - Allison patiently helped me select paint, wallpaper, carpeting, window coverings, accessories. The contractors she recommended were stellar. Joe Hurlbut Painting did a great job and Bob Kelly for the wallpaper was amazing! I couldn't be more delighted with the results. read more

I went in to find parts for a custom made wood frame I am having made for my brother's wedding. The lady was super helpful, giving my parts from her own stock and helping me find just the right matting. She cut the mats from scrap matting to help me out with the price. I had been all over the place looking for just the right parts and mats. I should have started here. I'll be back for all my framing/painting/crafting needs. read more

I enjoy roaming around in this store. They have a great selection, for someone who is just starting out painting. Everything I have needed, I have found there. They had a painting kit, that I wanted, but it was not in stock at this store. They called Boulder store, and they had it. Shipped it, it was there in a couple of days. What great service. The folks working there are so nice. I was looking for something, and they said what was on the shelf was all they had. Then, a couple of minutes later, she came to me, and told me that there were some others, on an endcap. She didn't need to go looking, after we spoke, but, even after I had moved on to look for something else, she was thinking of my request. The only reason I did not give five stars, is because twice, I have submitted a request to be put on the mailing list. I have no idea if that ever happened, as I have never received an email. I want to be informed of any sales, but, I am guessing that it is not going to be happening for me :( Update - soon after I posted this review, Guiry's was in touch, and got my email straightened out. I now get emails, and they don't inundate you with email (a good thing), and I am up on the sales (a better thing :) read more
