I used to go to Germaine Framing (now closed). Found this shop on Denver 7 A List. They were very attentive and helpful in selecting frame and matting. The $50 coupon (available on website) helped bring both pieces to around $130-$150 which I feel was in line with most custom framing shops. Shop owner was there to talk and offer suggestions. I like that small business feel. I will come back to rate after I get my art back at the end of October. read more

The wife and I had some photos taken a couple of years ago, and liked one so much we had a very large print made. I decided to finally get it framed and of course being a guy went to the framing shop that was closest to my house. What luck! Not only did they take the time to help me pick out the perfect frame, they steered me away from matting, which I though was what I wanted, which decreased the cost of the work but made the results amazing! Add to that they rushed the work to me so I could have it done by a specific date and were friendly to boot. They also put new glass in another frame that had been broken, this one from the framing department at a chain crafts store, and the price was reasonable and the end result quite good. Frame-It is reasonably priced and they do a fantastic job!! Nancy took on a new one with my request. I asked her to create a shadow box for my 1851 Navy Colt revolver, and she accepted the challenge without flinching. In fact she and her team went above and beyond my expectations by working closely with me and my design concept, providing various options and suggestions, and ultimately creating a beautifully unique display case for a very specific requirement. Nancy spent additional personal time to identify the best, most useful way of attaching the revolver inside the case while allowing for the case to be opened and the revolver to be removed for use from time to time. It's an interactive piece if you will, and the price was very reasonable. I will always bring items to be framed to Nancy and her team at Frame-It, and I live in Erie!!! read more

I have been going to Frame It for years and have always been overly impressed when I have picked up my items framed. I've been going there for over 20 years and must of had over 20 items framed. Results always turn out with a real professional look. They work with you in detail and give you pros and cons on appearance of what you want framed and give great suggestions you haven't thought of to make your piece totally professional. They have made a special Bronco logo cut out into one of my frames on a Bronco item I had framed. They can also jazz up the matting by adding a white beveled edge to it. As an artist I have tried several frame shops for good quality at lower cost. So far, by far I love the Frame It in Littleton. They are awesome, I am always pleased with the end result of the framing they do. I had a really nice drippy crayon painting, with real crayons, and I wasn't sure how to preserve it. I found frame it on google after i had a few things i had received as gifts that i really wanted to have framed. I have no idea about framing or what looks good at all. I took my first piece of artwork in and found it to be a very warm and friendly place and was greeted immediately. After showing the gal what i had she went to town showing me many different options i could choose from. I ultimately ended up going with most of her advice and when i walked in 2 weeks later to collect my framed piece i was blown away with the results. my jaw literally was on the floor with how well it turned out. After that i returned two more times with the main thing i was getting done was having a shadow box build to house some state and collegiate championship rings. needless to say it turned out phenomenal and i was not surprised by how awesome it turned out. These people really focus on you and are too nice. They show many different options so you can choose by price if that is a concern for you as well.
