Kendra and Zach are great! They are framing 2 more pieces of art for us. The first piece is gorgeous and we were incredibly happy with the quality and price. As we all know framing art is not cheap, but they will work with you and help you find the right fit for your budget. I'm happy they are in the neighborhood and we will definitely continue to support them. Update** LOVING our new pieces. Pictures attached.

Goodbye are the days of Michaels and Hobby Lobby. If you've ever questioned whether it was worth it to frame something, take your inquiries to Anthology Fine Art and you'll never look back. Zach and his team will make sure of it.

I first met Kendra and Zach at their old location on Santa Fe Drive. This was my first visit to their new store in Englewood. The new space is very elegant and provides two gallery spaces plus lots of room for their framing business. I mostly visit Anthology for their many interesting art shows, but I have also observed their framing work and it is excellent. Zach and Kendra are always pleasant and helpful.

I was on the hunt. Nine months after my wedding and my husband had laid down the law. "Frame this wedding stuff or put it in storage but get it out of my office." Okay, okay... but I have to find just the right people to do this work. I mean, it is forever, right? And so I turned to Yelp. Digging through the reviews, comparing this with that... one frame shop stood out. Anthology Fine Art. It is locally owned and full of positive reviews so I decided to take the leap. I came in on a cold day in early December. I was welcomed, warmly, by Zach. He spent a significant amount of time with me on my three projects: my Ketubah (Jewish marriage legal document), the New York Times article clipping about our wedding, and the two records we used as a guest book. They were all tricky and different. The Ketubah is a paper cut and would require spacing, what frame? Not too expensive, quality, matches the tone of the art... Zach pulled a number of options and we found the perfect one! The NYTimes article... How do we get the masthead in when it is so wide but the article is narrow and long? What balances it out? Perfect color mats? 1/4 inch? 1/8 inch? What frame works? Again, he recommended a perfect frame and perfect color mats. The white is a newspaper-y white, the navy offsets it beautifully and was one of our wedding colors. The records... here is the most challenging... though we had requested they sign one side, folks had signed both sides ... we didn't want to lose those signatures to the back of a frame! Zach recommended a double pane of glass, one on the front and one on the back. Again we painstakingly tried to match the mat to the record... pink but not too much that my husband wouldn't like it... the pinks of the center of the records were slightly different. It took time but Zach was patient with me. I paid half of the bill and they promised to call me when it was ready (right after Christmas since it was their busy season). I waited and waited and then I got the call! I dashed over to pick them up... PERFECTION. Utter framing perfection. I could not have imagined a better job. Zach and Kendra treated my special items with care and love. As if they were their own. It was a pleasure working with both of them in their BEAUTIFUL studio. They have a phenomenal eye for art and style and a real talent in framing. Today, months later, my husband still walks by the Ketubah on our wall and admires the beauty of the framing job. But the story doesn't end there. Kendra and Zach became co-conspirators in my anniversary gift. The week before my anniversary I panicked that I hadn't created my gift yet. So I called them up and asked if I sent them some pictures, could they help me last minute? Of course, they said. So I did. A picture from Pinterest... yes I know... but this one didn't fail! I created an 11x11 image with the words from the song we sang at our wedding (one of the songs on the record). I printed it on nice paper and brought it over. They punched out some letters for me, we picked a frame and mats, and they were off and running! They kindly let me pick it up the day of the anniversary (though they were closed) because I just KNEW I couldn't keep it a secret when I had it in my hands. It was stunning. They did an amazing job and my husband loved it. I feel like Kendra and Zach are our dear, long-time friends. They are so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend using Anthology Fine Art for all of your framing and gift needs. They use archival quality glass for everything so your precious things won't be damaged by sunlight. I am posting photos of their beautiful work, though my pictures do NOT do them justice. I will try to get better ones! :) Oh yeah! I have another project, repairing an original frame for a 1960's Chagall that was recently gifted to us by my grandmother... so expect me sometime soon, guys! :)

I am exceptionally pleased with the both the archival quality as well as the artistry of the framing Zach provided for our collection of 17th, 18th and 19th century astronomy prints. We have attached a photo because the geeky goodness needed to be shared. Important to note is that parking is limited off of Santa Fe, but there is limited parking through the alley way behind the building.

the creative process at work!

Can't say enough great things about Anthology. Zach and Kendra are great to work with and experts in what they do. I've brought a variety of pieced to them and they always help me figure out the best frame and most appropriate option for the project. For an off-the-shelf poster they suggested laminating which has been durable and was inexpensive. For a numbered concert print they did a really cool mount and frame. Their prices are competitive for custom framing and worth every penny! I've moved out of state and still send my work to them for framing. Their work and the artistic eye they bring to every project is top notch!

They are absolutely the best! Kendra and Zach offered helpful guidance in selecting frames and matting for four of our paintings and etchings. Completion is always on time and the results are amazing. I wouldn't put my beautiful pieces in anyone else's hands.

Kendra and Zach did an incredible job framing countless pieces of art for our home after we moved. They took the time to help me determine the best framing options for each work, suggesting details and techniques that I otherwise wouldn't have thought of. They did a spectacular job of framing some particularly difficult pieces (art built into an ugly frame, etc.) and minimized the appearance of damage to some vintage artworks. The workmanship was perfect and they always delivered the pieces on time or quicker than promised. I highly recommend Anthology Fine Art for your framing needs!

We worked with Kendra on some portraits for our 1-year old daughter and could not have been more impressed. The shoot was great but what really stood out was working with her selecting pictures and the creative process of custom framing. The team at Anthology can do amazing things with multiple openings, complex matting and frame options you just can't find anywhere else. If you want new portraits or need some amazing, hand crafted framing (or both!), Kendra and Anthology is a no-brainier.
