Guilty Biscuit is a seasonal breakfast stop that seemingly every Manhattanite (Manhattanian? Manhattite?) has developed a taste for. At least, the ones with good taste have. Unfortunately, they are only ever open on the weekends, but absence makes the stomach grow hungrier. It's hard to complain, since its all the better for my wallet and waistband that I can't stuff my face with GB every weekday. Guilty Biscuit has a hip, clean vibe with super friendly staff. They seem to enjoy working there nearly as much as I enjoy eating there. It's also a place where you can get everything you want, if everything you want is delicious breakfast, a naughty burrito, or one of their incredibly tasty weekly specials. It is so amazing to have a new restaurant open during a pandemic, and on the west side which has a lack of food options. I was very much looking forward to this, and am excited we got to try it on the day of the grand opening. Eric R. chose "burger in a biscuit" and I ordered the "risk it biscuit" plus we got biscuit s'mores for dessert. I was able to order and select the time for it to be ready for pick-up. I ordered about an hour before I wanted to pick up because I had to wait for Eric R. to cycle home. I got a text right before the time to pick up that my order was ready. I drove to the center, located the designated curbside pick-up parking spots on the south side of the building, and called the number. Well, I thought I did, but apparently I cannot read the sign because I was one number off and dialed RCPD. I quickly hung up and looked to the left to dial the correct number. Press 2 and let the staff know what spot you are in. The staff came out within a minute and handed me the bag of food through my passenger window, wearing masks. Immediately, my car smelled amazing and I got hungrier by the minute as I drove home. The food was hot and tasty! Eric R. and I enjoyed our sandwiches but dang, those s'mores were the star of the show for me. He was kind to split the fifth one so we each had 2 1/2 (they are like donut-hole sized biscuits, on top of melting marshmallows with chocolate gravy and graham cracker crumbs)! We did not get any side dishes or beverages this time, but we definitely want to try more menu items soon. I am absolutely stuffed though! I think one of the best parts of this experience for me was getting my dinner out of a container that had "Risk" written on it. They were not open except for catering. We may need to change/update their offerings and the like, since it does not state they are not open for actual walk-in business. Disappointing to say the least, since all the photos and everything sounded so tasty!! Perhaps next time their lobby and seating will be open for service of customers! read more

So sad they are closed! Based on their last Facebook post it sounds like a permanent closure however maybe my Yelp review will get them to reconsider. This was a go-to breakfast spot when my husband lived in Manhattan. If you enjoy a sweet and savory breakfast, this would have been the spot for you. The chicken tenders are similar to Chick Fil A nuggets, the biscuits had a unique texture that made them perfect for breakfast sandwiches, the flavor combinations for the breakfast sandwiches just worked. I really wanted to rate this place higher. It came highly reviewed and I was excited to find a new take on the burger, by eating it on a biscuit. Nobody's in line so I go up to the counter and ask for a menu, which as it turns out is on the wall next to me. Like right next to me. It's huge actually. So I order a burger and a soft drink. Total was $14 and then they prompt me for a tip. I'm a bit confused what I'm tipping for, because they hand you your food over a counter and you fill up your own soft drink and then when you're done you throw your own trash away. Like McDonald's. I'm fine with that, I actually prefer fast casual. But I don't like feeling obligated to tip when they're not providing a service for me. So the burger came out and it was good. But then I realized that you had to order a side separately. Of course it said that on the great big menu but I hadn't noticed. I did wish I had ordered a side but I didn't want and I didn't want to spend more money on the meal either. $14 for lunch without a side felt like a lot. The food is always bomb, you can tell they love to work there, so the service is always awesome. And it's such a fun vibe inside.

This spot is serving meal kits and carry out option, in fact they bring it to you - very COVID friendly. The burger was excellent, had lost some temperature by the time I got home but that's carry out. Usually not one to order a $15 sandwich ($3 up charge for extra patty) but it was well worth it.
